UPDATE: To the manager, please don't make insulting statements suggesting that your team offered to…read moreadjust the service, amount, or otherwise resolve the situation. Your response is very misleading, and honestly, I find your comment insulting. I'm not sure if you were the manager handling the situation that night, but if you have cameras, I strongly encourage you to pull the footage and review what actually happened. A woman came barging out of her client's room and immediately started yelling at us to leave. She did not allow us to explain anything or even hear us out. The situation became so heated that her own employees had to step in and calm her down because she was yelling at us. So, to suggest in your response that there was some reasonable attempt to resolve the situation is simply not an accurate reflection of what we experienced. I stand by my review, and I find your comment dismissive and insulting. And if you are the manager who acted that way that night, I sincerely hope you regret how you handled the situation. No customer should be treated that way. ---------- I've been coming to East Foot Spa for almost 10 years, which is why I'm honestly so disappointed by what happened tonight. Our appointment was at 6:30 PM, but my partner and I were waiting in the room until around 6:50 because the therapists were running late. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they would make up for the time in the actual massage. The massage started off okay, but it didn't feel like the usual experience we've had there. My partner asked his therapist at least 5 times to apply more pressure. Then, to make matters worse, the massage ended 7 minutes early. I went to the front desk and calmly explained that we weren't happy with the experience. The woman at the front desk just smiled and nodded, so I finally said, "I need this addressed." They explained that we paid for a combination massage and not a deep tissue massage. We weren't arguing about what type of massage we paid for, and we weren't asking for our money back. We simply wanted to adjust the tip because the service didn't meet our expectations. The employee then went to get the owner to explain the issue to her. Instead of coming out to calmly speak with us, the owner came out yelling at us and immediately told us not to come back, all while another customer was right there. I was honestly shocked by how she handled it. We were trying to address a service issue, not cause a scene or refuse to pay. If you're the owner, I would expect you to come out, listen to the customer, and try to resolve the situation not come out yelling and telling loyal customers to leave. Another employee was asking us to lower our voices, but it's hard to stay calm when the owner is yelling at you. We were simply trying to have our concern heard. After almost a decade of coming here, I never expected to be treated this way. The massage was disappointing, but the way the owner handled the situation was honestly what made this experience so upsetting. She told us not to come back, and after tonight, we won't. It's really unfortunate because we had been loyal customers for years.

I said I wanted an hour. I said I would go somewhere else. They were speaking in mandarin and the older lady said just give her an hr. I speak mandarin so i intercepted and made sure she understood me. The younger girl then made me pay for an hour $80 with a $5 credit card fee and I tipped $20 on top of that before the massage. It started at 8.02pm, I know that because right when she started my phone rang. For 30 mins she just applied minimum pressure , no massage skills at all. Just press here press there. She turnt me over after 35 mins and did a neck massage for 5 mins and during that the cameras in the room Showed a gentleman come in the front door she spent a few mins looking into the camera the next thing I know she kinda touched my kegs and said we were done. She ran outside to another room came back gave me a water. I looked at my phone it said 8.45. I didn't get my full hour and I didn't feel I had a massage at all. Just a rub down with lotion. Very disappointed at the service. She wasn't rude but I could tell she rather massage a man. She was dressed low cut top, full face makeup ready to service. I know what I'm talking about I'm a grown Asian lady in my 40s. Had massages done all over the world. U want real massage go somewhere else. I saw two other older ladies maybe they were the real deal. But not the girl who massaged me I was too exhausted to even complain or say anything. It's the end of the day I'm a mom of 4 kids. A waste of my $105 on nothing.

This place is so disgusting…read more I was looking for a massage place nearby that offered same day and found this spot and they had online booking. I show up to my appointment and the woman at the front seemed confused then made a call then walked me into the first room. She's spraying alcohol/disinfectant in the air then says ok and points me to the table and walks out. So I begin to get undressed. Then a few seconds later walks right back in, without knocking, while I'm without a top, meanwhile leaving the door to the room open which is right infront of their open front door facing the waiting area???? Then she's over here having me lay down telling me to take my pants off while this door is open. And tells me to lay there for a couple of minutes and walks out. More than 5 minutes pass, and I'm looking at the clock because I was set for a 6pm for 60 minutes, so it's 6:15 and no one is in here. Then I turn and the door is OPEN! And there is no receptionist at the front. So whoever walks in first will see me laying there. I just didn't feel comfortable getting a massage by anyone there after that and got dressed and walked out. By the time I get in my car to leave, the lady that was attending comes out and keeps coming towards my car that is already moving??? There isn't even a fee for cancelling or no shows so I don't understand why she had to follow me towards the parking lot. Just really bad customer service. Would never suggest this place to someone.

When I went in there is a sign on the wall with a section that looks like it is foot massage pricing. Above the questionable pricing is a piece of tape covering up the words 'foot massage'. When I asked for a foot massage I was told 'No more, only full body'. I wouldn't have an issue with this if full body wasn't almost double the price. Since it is, the advertising on the website needs to be fixed. It is not okay to advertise a service that is usually less expensive than a full body massage, and then when your customer takes the time to come down and give you money for said advertised service, you tell them 'no more'. If 'no more', then 'no more' advertising for service that is 'no more'. I do not believe this is debatable and is reasonable to ask for this to not happen to me or anyone. One of two things can get this review updated to 5 stars: 1. Please remove the foot massage label on your website. Once this is complete, please reach out to me here and I would be happy to update this to a five star review as other than this issue, your business appears to be a nice place to visit and relax. It would be minimal effort for your webmaster to remove the foot massage service from the site. Look forward to hearing back. 2. Or...reach out to me to offer the full body massage for 30 minutes for $30 which would match the price of the incorrectly advertised service. Please let me know if you believe this is unreasonable and if so, please let me clearly know why you think so. I am very fair and always open for win/win scenarios. Respectfully
