Today I was desperate for a mani/pedi and didn't have an appointment. They were able to accommodate me and got me in within 10 minutes! My manicurist was Tom (he did both my mani and pedi). He's not a big talker, but I was fine with it. I just wanted to sit and enjoy myself, which I did! I loved the overall experience I had today. As far as pricing goes, they were very comparable to the other NKY salons (regular pedi + gel manicure = $65). Lastly, the salon did well fitting in COVID protocols (masks for all customers, hand washing as soon as you came in, social distancing, etc). I told Tom I typically don't come down to Florence for my nails, but this would be worth the drive for another visit. read more

I was a walk in. The door said walk ins are welcomed. I asked for a fill/gel polish. Then I asked how much it was and the cost for adding on a manicure. That was 10.00 additional and decided to go ahead and get that as well. My manicure consisted of soaking my fingers a few minutes in room temperature water. Then a slight push down of cuticles and trimming. That was it. Normally a manicure consists of lotion on the cuticles to soften them, pushed down cuticles and a trim, along with a massage and so on. This was a complete waste for 10 dollars. Fill/gel was ok. Never cleaned under my nails or had me wash my hands. I left with gritty hands. He was pleasant but for that amount if money, a waste and will never be back. read more

I've been here 2-3 already and I've loved it every time. A really important thing to remember is that no one can read your mind and also telling someone, sometimes things get misinterpreted. This spa ALWAYS gives me what I asked for correctly and you can always nicely tell someone that you want something done differently and I feel like that's why people have bad experiences. I love it here!! My nails always come out great! I love the comfy vibe and I love the people! I came here a couple months ago and I haven't gone anywhere else since. I always have Sam do my nails though, he was not available once and Tim did them. Tim did a good job, but I still prefer Sam because of his attention to detail. I haven't had any experiences with anyone else. So I guess this review is really for Sam, but he's great! Personable and informative. I am still pretty new to getting my nails professionally done in general, and Sam was super helpful in talking me through everything he was doing and giving advice on how often to come back, what I should get, etc. For example, I was getting acrylics at first because I loved how they looked. After two times of getting acrylics, he said that my nails were strong enough that I probably didn't have to pay for acrylics - I now only get shellac and he shapes my natural nails. Cut my cost down by $10 a visit, which definitely adds up. Thanks Spa Nails and Sam! I'll never go anywhere else! read more

I have tried numerous nail salons in the area and Spa Nails is by far the BEST! I have acrylics on my nails and I try to keep the upkeep of them down every 2 weeks but due to my schedule often times go passes that and my nails still stay in tact and with gel polish always look amazing! I also get pedicures OFTEN and staff is amazing! I prefer Sam for my nails because he has an amazing sense of detail and great personality! Tried this salon after seeing posts of a friend's nails. Mistake on my part none of my nails match in shape or size. Spent $55 and now I will have to go somewhere else to get them removed and redone. They are too thick and I'm spots you can fell bubbles of the gel where they were not evened out. Will never return. Wish I could get my money back. read more

If your looking for a walk in get right to it place then this is for you! I get my nails done here all the time. If you ask for Phoun (Fawn) you will not be dissapointed. She does a fantastic job, and when you need a fill in it doesn't really look bad at all, because she does THAT good of a job! The only thing negative thing I could say is that they have too many polish colors to pick from. Is that really a bad thing? LOL! I get compliments all the time on my nails. This place is ok. Prices are very reasonable ($25 pedicure $30 with Sugar Scrub) and the pedicure was pretty good. In terms of nails, My pink fill, however was barely just ok. My nails were unevenly filed and they used a very pale color of pink fill - it was much paler than the previous fill so now I have an odd line across every nail. I ended up going elsewhere and getting color over it. I'd say stop in for a very reasonably priced pedicure but get the nails done elsewhere. read more

I needed somewhere to go on a Sunday last minute and this place was it. I was able to get in right away. The chemical smell took me aback as soon as I walked in. It is the strongest I have smelled anywhere. The place was not clean at all and the girl, although she was very nice, took my gel polish off with her thumb fingernail!!! So I REALLY like Tim, he does my nails the exact way I want & they always look great. Tim is my go to for nails, but if I can't see him I won't get them done. I cannot have anyone else do my nails, they just don't do a good job. I've had a couple of pedicures here, but my last one was today. I purchased a regular/express pedicure for $30.00. While I was drying, the manicurist asked for my payment. She returned with two credit card transactions. She informed me that she accidently charged my debit card $30.00 and $45.00. She stated that she voided the $45.00 and it will be returned to me. I was not upset because these things happen. WELL.... it has been TWO weeks and the money has not been returned to me. I called Spa Nails and spoke with the manager, and first he stated that the transaction did not take place at his location. I informed him that I had the receipt from Spa Nails. He then changed his tune and stated that he spoke with the credit card company and they are saying the transaction never went through. He got very defensive and acted like I was lying or stealing from him. I am appalled by the managers lack of concern and or customer service. I have contacted my bank, and we are moving forward with a charge back and a fraud complaint. If you go there, USE CASH!!!!! read more

I love this place, the owners always remember who you are and will chat away with you while they work. Their prices are very reasonable and they do great work. The ONLY downside is that it's a strip-mall style atmosphere but otherwise I love it! I always get compliments on my nails and I don't break the bank pampering myself :) read more

2 days ago I went in to have a pedi as well as acrylics with the gel polish. The pedi was ok. However, the acrylics were terrible. The shape of the nails were uneven, there were bumps in almost every nail and the polish didn't even cover my whole nail on several of them. I was told that it would, "get better after washing my hands and showering a few times." I should have known that was a load of bull but was only getting my nails done to look pretty for my sister's funeral the following day and just wanted to get home to my family. After the funeral, I noticed that my nails still looked terrible and also had already started to chip. I returned and spoke to Sam, the manager/owner, who redid them. They looked great and I was happy. That is until I noticed that they were all chipping again by the next morning. I returned for the 3rd day in a row to just ask for my money back, as I feel a refund was totally justifiable. He treated me awfully, cut the nails off in a terrible way and threw 45 dollars at me. I feel I should have been compensated the full 100 dollars that I had originally paid. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more
