Amazing massage in a quiet, clean, cute place with friendly people. My friend and I dropped in on a whim and were very happy with our experience! She fit us in within 45 minutes and we got a room side by side with a curtain in the middle. The pressure was just what I needed! They start out using towels so I was a bit confused in the beginning, but they eventually take the towels down and start using massage oil and direct pressure. The hot stones at the end were incredible. **They charge $4 for using a credit card, though, so I recommend bringing cash! read more

I first found this place on a groupon deal. I took a chance and was completely in love with the staff. The customer service level is so high. Each staff is super attentive and makes sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire service. They offer you a water upon entry and give you mints to cool you down. There's calm music playing in the background which really puts you to ease. I always get the 75 mins combo which includes a foot massage and a full body. Every time I'm done with the massage I always want more. I forgot to mention this place is totally clean! read more

Came here two or three times. Make an appointment in advance. Specify if you'd like male or female masseuses. The only slip up was that we made a request for 2 females for the first appointment and they didn't have 2, so one of us received the massage on time and I received my massage 20 minutes later when someone else arrived. Therefore, my massage ended 20 mins later than my boyfriend's. They are firm and know what they're doing. We would return. read more

1st visit - outstanding! My therapist was Hana, and she did amazing job. The salon is clean and conveniently located. 2nd visit - obviously came back for the great experience I had initially. I didn't catch the therapist's name unfortunately. Her technique was poor and painful, not to mention that I left the salon feeling worse than before. They're nice enough but, sadly, I can not recommend this place. I've been having professional massages for over 25 years and this place does not have trained LMTs, though they charge prices almost as high as a real spa. It's a huge room separated by curtains. Not a problem. I can deal with that. My masseuse asked before we started if I wanted strong or medium. I said medium and yet he spent the whole time pummeling me, despite repeated reminders to please use a lighter touch. It was painful, uncomfortable, not relaxing and completely frustrating. The lack of understanding of the human anatomy resulted in very bad bruising on my shins that has lasted well over a week, as well as a very stiff neck that my chiropractor had to repair because all my muscles froze around the shoulders that were treated so incompetently. The scented lotion they use is not of good quality; the synthetic fragrances caused an extremely allergic reaction for me. I developed hives from it and had to really scrub to get all the lotion off, in a thorough shower at home, and then treat the allergy. I would love to find a low key massage place that's affordable and knowledgeably, but this one isn't it. Nice enough staff but just be forewarned that this is NOT what a massage is supposed to feel like, during OR after your experience. read more

First time I went with my gf back in August and the massages alone were worth 5 stars. There isn't much of an ambiance but it's NY and space is limited. I had a masseuse by the name of Jan and my gf had Lily. We just went for the second time and called ahead to make sure we got the same masseuses and were told to come at 7:15 p.m. We got there early and waited 30 minutes for Jan to get done "upstairs". We're led to our room and lie on the tables. From FIRST TOUCH both my gf and I knew they WERE NOT the same people. It was very rushed and sharp abrupt movements. I never saw who it was because my face was already down. About 45 minutes in I get a look and see the masseuse is 20-30 years younger than the Jan I initially had. As soon as it was done we both got up and said "that wasn't them!". My "massage" was very painful and mostly on the bone. My gf says hers felt lazy. We get back to the front and see the two imposters waiting for us to pay and I inquired as to why we didn't get Lily and Jan like we asked for. They looked me dead in my face and told me, "we are Lily and Jan" as if we have never seen the real ones with our own eyes!!!! Then "Lily" tried to convince me by saying she remembers me and had me last time when Jan was the one who I had before. $130 for a nerve and bone massage and a light frisk! Turns out "Jan" was getting off which, is why the massage was so rushed. We saw her leaving as we stood outside talking about how bad it was. read more
