I loved my clear water spa in the at first but it then developed a leak and the control panel fogged up and is totally non functional now. I reached out to the CEO of clearwater who promised to take care if it as it was still under warranty and he agreed it was. He kept making excuses for over 2 years and it is still not fixed. Now he is denying that he agreed to fix his spa and that it was never under warranty. I have it all in writing that he agreed to repair it under his warranty. Not once has he stood by his company. Purchased a Spa from Johan, He was Great. It was delivered this week by Heath and Travis. They were Awesome. Started it up today and there was a small leak. I called Service and Daryn came right over and assessed the issue and called the factory , who is sending the replacement part ASAP. Daryn was Awesome as well. Highly recommend Spa Logic. This place does not deserve a rating! Worst customer service on the planet. We ordered our Hot Tub last July. Paid almost 50% down! Have not returned our calls the last several weeks. What an incredible experience. ZERO pressure to buy. Just superb products. Let's start with the " commercial level" filter . the spas are made in Canada which uses all commercial grade filters for even residential spas. Perfect. The selection was great but the original salesperson Johan was not there the day we went to look but the owner Darren was-- what a great knowledge he has of all aspects from esthetic to installation to energy use etc. When we had a question day of installation he helped us on the phone and we understood the use of economy vs standard mode better than the brochure explanation. totally 100% impressed with the product, the installation crew, the service. read more

Things started off good, sadly they turned into a disaster. Our spa speakers failed with the first couple months. Daryn told us he would order new ones and come replace them. Sadly it took many calls and 9 MONTHS to get him back out to do so. When they were replaced they were not the same and he told me "this is the closest they could ge, the others were discontinued." At the time he installed, I questioned a small gap I thought I could see (across the tub) and was assured that it was sealed "let it dry." The replacement speakers actually left a visible hole from the cut out area due to the shape and size difference in the speakers, I wasn't happy but what do I do? Within a couple weeks, the new speakers failed. Again reached out, NO ONE called back. After leaving multiple messages we contacted the manufacturer. They said they would have the dealer (Spa Logic) contact us. This went on for months and months, to no avail. Finally threatened to return the spa and they told us they had the original speakers and would send them out to the dealer to get installed. Another 6weeks went by and nothing! Per the manufacturer supervisor I was asked to contact them again if I didn't get a call. We had to do just that, after 8 additional months of back and forth with the manufacturer we FINALLY got a call in July. Johan called and said he would find speakers, I informed him Sunny from Coast Spas said he shipped them the correct speakers weeks ago. He said he'd locate them and call to schedule the repair. I inquired about cleaning the gunk from the failed leaking speakers and he said he "had a product" that did just that he would "run through" while he was here. Since the very first failure there is sticky black stuff throughout the plumbing of the spa, we've not been able to hardly use it and have replaced multiple filters trying to clear it. Johan was very polite and understanding, told me about his injury and recovery process, the call was very cordial. I was very hopeful for finally getting things taken care of once and for all! Last week we received a box of speakers in the mail! NO CONTACT NO SERVICE NO CLEANING! read more

I'm blown away by the excellent service. I just ordered and had Spa Logic install a hot tub at my cabin and the price was almost wholesale it was so good and the service was amazing. Daryn is a nice guy, but don't be fooled! We bought a tub from him in 2017 and from the beginning, there were inconsistencies in what he would tell us and also between what he and his employees would tell us. He misled our contractor and also us on separate issues, but we didn't think it was a big deal, so we did not cancel the order. After a month of owning the tub, we learned it was consuming about 2-3x the amount of power, he and the website estimated. I shared these electricity and cost values with him many times over the course of time without much willing to help. He tried to blame many things including wanting me to make sure the neighbors weren't stealing power from our house. He often told me there was nothing he could do about it and offered me $100 (MSRP) in product to go away. He made me contact the spa manufacturer multiple times, but the manufacturer kept telling me to go through him. It wasn't until 3 years later, the manufacturer said he should not have sold us a partially foamed hot tub, which was seconded by two other hot tub stores that I called. Daryn never gave us the option of fully insulated. He finally came out and tested the power, realizing it was consuming way too much electricity. After 5 years, through a lot of stress and money, the problem was mostly resolved. I have learned that if there aren't any issues, then Daryn seems great. But if there is a major issue, Daryn does not want to deal with it and will not be there for you. He never contacted me for any updates throughout the process, often forcing me to text or call him 2 or 3x before he would get back to me. Over these years, while we were losing money, he was busy opening two other stores. If anybody saw how Daryn dealt with this issue, they would not buy a hot tub from him. He is more concerned with his bottom line than his customer service and satisfaction. To date, he still has not fully followed through on all things he promised to fully resolve the issue. read more

I have known the owner, Daryn Sharp, for at least a dozen years. I was so lucky to find him when we owned a 110v deck-top hot tub we purchased at a home show. It kept tripping the GFI and turning off the tub. I had called several repair places the manufacturer, an Oregon based company and on their advice had replaced the cord several times, but it kept happening. Finally one of the service people I spoke to referred my to Daryn. He immediately and correctly diagnosed the problem and solved it. I have called him ever since whenever we have a problem. In 2015 we bought a tub from Craigslist which (of course) has had several problems. Daryn is not only brilliant, he is one of the kindest, most personable, and honest service people I know. Even through I have never bought a hot tub from one of his stores, he has always treated me as the very best customer he has ever had, and I believe he does the same for every customer. I can't recommend this man highly enough and I am sure he runs his hot tub sales businesses with the same dedication to his customers that he has shown to me all these years. read more

Just about a month ago my Wife and I stopped into our local hot tub dealer in Beaverton Oregon. The business name is Spa Logic. I was there to inquire on needed repairs to our 20+ year old hot tube. My Father and I built a all cedar custom spa house on our large backyard cedar deck. The problem is we never designed a way to remove the tub from the house if the need ever arose. Darin is the repair man as well as the Owner and a hell of a nice guy. He and his Wife came to our house to look at the tub that same day. Darrin explained that the needed parts were no longer available and the tub had outlasted it's useful life. My fear was we had no way to get the old tub out and a new tub into the cedar house. One side of the tub house and deck is at ground level and the other side is approximately 12 feet off the ground. Darin suggested that if I had a contractor remove the wall on the 12 foot end he could get my old tub out and the new tub in. He explained that he had done multiple difficult projects such as ours and he had total confidence he could get it done. I looked at my Wife and she said lets go for it. We ordered the tub that same day. Today the hot tub was delivered to our house. The wall was removed and the skill and expertise used to carefully remove the old tub by using a custom built ramp system and a team of very skilled men to assist. Our son was taking video and photos as the project progressed. The same ramp system was used to get the new tub into the tub house with out a scratch on the tub house or the new tub. We love the new tub but it was the efforts of the Spa Logic Team that made this a very special experience. It is very rare to find a small family owned and operated business that puts as much care and consideration into their work and towards their customers. I would recommend Darin and the Spa Logic Team for any of your hot tube / spa needs. These are people you can trust and we have made some new friends with some very special people.
