I have such a "love-hate" relationship with Spalight. When they first opened, this place was an absolute dream--meticulously clean, welcoming, and my go-to spot to totally reset. Unfortunately, the facility has hit a bit of a decline lately. What used to be impeccably dry, clean floors are now prone to dust and hairballs, and it's gotten so wet in the wet sauna areas that they've just started putting out "caution" signs instead of actually keeping it dry. I've seen quite a few people slip. Even the "unlimited" towel perk has been downgraded to a strict two-towel limit, and the food portions and quality have shrunk exponentially compared to the cost they charge it at. That being said, there is one major saving grace: the Korean auntie who does the body scrubs. She is an absolute legend and deserves a massive raise for everything she puts up with! She's the main reason the experience still feels somewhat authentic and worth driving to. The rooms are also on the smaller side, so if you go during peak hours, it's definitely more "crowded" than "calm." Honestly, the only reason I still make the trip is that it's the only K-spa within a reasonable driving distance from Boston. If there were more local options, I'd probably skip the decline here and head straight to NJ or NYC for a higher-quality experience. It's still a decent option if you're desperate for a scrub and a soak without the four-hour drive, but I really miss the high standards they had at the beginning. read more

My rating is based on tranquility, quality and hygiene. I purchased a day pass on a weekday evening, which are the less busier times, located on the North end of Bally's. However, couldn't fully enjoy due to people using phones which is against the rules and it was not enforced, even though staff saw people on their phones. The bath house is clothing optional, but don't know how private or safe that is when people are on their phones. The pools are nice, but not tranquil. All you hear is the loud water running at one of the pools. It sounds like a machine is running, and hard to relax with that sound. There was no aromatherapy or essential oils flowing throughout the space, which is normally common at spas, to awaken the senses. But I smelled nothing. Quality - When I checked in, the staff was pleasant but there was no overview of the space or the rules. I was just given a bracelet and told to put my shoes in a bag and pay at check out. The saunas were ok, but a lot of man made material and hard to tell if getting any of the properties or just feeling the heat. Also, the music was too loud in the saunas, and the vents are starting to corrode already. The slippers are horrible and meant for mani/pedi sessions, not walking around a spa for hours. Given the different elements of heat and water they should be plastic and not cheap disposable fabric. Hygiene and amenities. The way the space is set up, it's easy to carry bacteria from shoes and the slippers to the saunas and the pool. People aren't supposed to bring their slippers into the pool area, and walk out with their shoes on, but both were happening and that's how bacteria spreads. Also, the amount of chlorine they use in the pools is too much. I took a shower and washed my hands five times and I still smell like chlorine hours later. That has never happened to me and I often go to spas and bath houses. Overall, this place has a lot of improvements to make, and I don't feel I will be returning. I visited this spa expecting a relaxing, premium experience, but was incredibly disappointed by the severe lack of basic maintenance and hygiene. The steam room--a core amenity for any spa--has been completely out of commission for what seems like months, with no clear timeline for repair. Even worse is the state of the facilities. The showers were visibly dirty, and the floor mats were shredded, grimy, and looked as though they hadn't been properly sanitized or replaced in years. In a wet environment, this is a massive red flag and poses very concerning health and safety risks. To make matters worse, management continues to charge full price while failing to deliver on basic cleanliness or advertised amenities. I highly recommend avoiding this location until they take sanitation seriously. read more

I like how spacious the spot is and that there are different kinds of experiences to enjoy. The baths seemed to clean, which I greatly appreciated. I'm going to have to agree with some of the other reviewers that people were in the spa spaces with phones, and there was a lot of talking, which did make it hard to relax. When I was checking out, the young man at the counter, said some very weird things to me, which showed a lack of hospitality training. Someone else mentioned that when they checked in, they were given no orientation to the space and I had the same experience. It was put your shoes in a bag and here's where the locker room is. It's OK, I figured it out pretty quickly, but it might've been nice considering they were not busy at the front desk. I lived in Korea and have experienced authentic Korean bathhouses. This is not it, but I appreciate that the space exists and all different kinds of people were utilizing it. read more

They only give you a robe, and even though it's technically optional, everyone in the pool area is wearing one -- you'll feel pretty uncomfortable walking around without it. Recently visited with a group of friends. Some of the lockers were broken which was an annoying start to the day as I had to move around my belongings. While I did not a treatment, my friend got a Korean body scrub which was done in a sectioned off area of the bath house. Thought it was a bit odd as there were lots of empty treatment rooms. They had both a wet sauna and multiple dry saunas. Was unable to try all the dry saunas as people were sprawled across the floor taking up the already limited space. There is a cafe inside which serves Korean inspired cuisine which my group really enjoyed. The massage chairs were probably my favorite part as they were definitely the most high tech ones I've ever used. Would come back if I was in the area but would not go out of my way otherwise. read more

I've never understood why New England doesn't have more of a spa culture, so I'm genuinely glad this place exists - and overall, it's quite good! If I weren't a bit biased from being spoiled by Canadian and West Coast Korean spas, I'd probably give it 5+ stars. I love that there's a cold plunge, plenty of relaxation rooms, an unlimited stay, and massage chairs. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the facilities feel clean and well maintained. A few minor improvements would really take this place to the next level: - The steam rooms and hot saunas could be hotter. - The cost is steep. I fully understand that my expectations are colored by $30 West Coast spas, but a slightly lower price point would make frequent visits easier to justify. - The locker room/wet area was very loud. I appreciate that conversation is allowed, but the volume made it hard to fully relax. I'm not sure there's an easy fix without acoustic upgrades. - The Korean food was disappointing, especially for the price. - This is very personal preference, but I do enjoy the traditional no-bathing-suits culture. Most women were wearing bathing suits, which made me feel a bit self-conscious being the only one without. Totally on me, but worth mentioning if you're expecting a more traditional spa experience. My friend and I had a 1:15pm scheduled hydrating facial and we got in at 1pm for our scheduled service. The front desk asked if we were here for the day and we told her we were only here for the facial. She didn't say much and gave us our wristbands and had us wait for the estheticians. My esthetician, Stephanie, was kind and knowledgeable. She talked through what she was going to do. I enjoyed the hydrating facial from her, but my skin has been very irritated since the facial. I've been experiencing redness and extra dryness/flaky skin. I informed Stephanie of my sensitive/dry skin prior to the facial, so I'm a little disappointed that my skin is like this now. Afterwards, my friend and I were thinking of what to do for lunch and I realized there was a restaurant inside the spa as we were about to leave. We asked the front desk about it and she said the menu was in the back and said we can go back and look, and to use our wristband for purchase and we'll pay for everything when we check out. We enjoyed lunch and as we were checking out, they added the $90 admission fee to our tab. We explained that we weren't here for the day and just the service. The front desk made an accusation saying we've been here since 1pm! We reiterated that our service was at 1:15pm and we had lunch afterwards. Definitely check your receipt and make sure they don't overcharge you if you didn't sign up for the day pass. Overall, this spa is quite pricey compared to other places. You can probably go to other places for a cheaper price for either the same or a better experience. read more

I would strongly recommend reading the other reviews carefully before deciding to go! I signed up for the Korean body scrub and was looking forward to using the sauna included with the day pass. This was my first Korean body scrub, so I asked the staff member assigned for basic instructions about the process. I did not realize the scrub required complete nudity( she also removes her clothes and was only wearing see through lingerie ) . When I explained that I was uncomfortable being completely nude and asked if I could keep my undergarments on, she became extremely upset and started yelling at me instead of calmly explaining the procedure. Even other customers seemed to be shocked listening to her yell at me. I was also told to strip outside of the curtained/private area in-front of other customers . I have never experienced anything like this before. Normally, you are given a private space to undress. For a spa service such as this privacy and personal boundaries should be respected. I was extremely uncomfortable, and since the service had not even started, I decided to cancel it. I do want to mention that the gentleman at reception was polite and professional and listened to my concerns, which I appreciated. I understand there may be a language barrier( she doesn't speak English) , but yelling at a customer who is simply asking questions when no instructions were given and expressing discomfort is completely unprofessional! It's nice. A good place to go for a girls day out. The food was a 9/10, not as authentic as I'd like, but still really good. The saunas are great when it's not packed and that's usually on a weekday or the evenings. I prefer the old robes with the waffle texture. They weren't as stiff and were a lot roomier. The new ones plus size friendly at all. If you're above a 1x, you may need to bring your own. Hopefully, one opens up in Mass at some point. read more

Aside from the guests (and one employee) who lacked any sense of etiquette or respect for other patrons, I enjoyed my time at Spa Light. We came on a Friday around 1pm and started off with lunch. I got the creamy Rose Udon, which was really tasty, as well as the Strawberry Lemonade. It didn't take long to come out, and it was incredibly filling. As for the actual spa experience, they start off by giving you a robe and a pair of slippers. You can also request their "uniform" which is a big top and a pair of shorts. The locker rooms and bath houses are separated by gender and phones are prohibited in the changing area, bath house, and saunas. There was however a woman video calling inside the changing area and showing her friend the locker room and inside the bath house. My friend had to ask her to stop, for obvious reasons. We encountered the same woman later taking a video of the sauna rooms, which all have clear glass doors. Again, we had to remind her that phones are not allowed, as there were people inside of the saunas. Later, there was an employee watching videos on their phone out loud in the area with heated chairs. Mind you, this area is directly next to the sauna rooms. I also encountered a pair of women inside of the bath house trying to talk to each other, but in reality, screaming over the sound of water, despite the "Quiet Zone" sign right in front of them. I asked them to please turn it down, which they heeded nicely. Obviously I can anticipate running into unruly people in public, but for a small spa of this scale, it shouldn't be too difficult to enforce rules and maintain a relaxing atmosphere. Spas that I've been to that are twice the size and scope of Spa Light have been incredibly on top of maintaining volume levels and barring phones from entering no phone areas. The moments of peace that I got to experience though were definitely enjoyable. The facilities are clean and there's a nice fragrance as soon as you walk in. I gifted my partner a spa day for his birthday and Spa Light did not disappoint! Men and Women have separate pool areas where there are 2 hot tubs, a cold plunge, a steam room and showers. One tub had jets and waterfall that was great for soothing sore muscles. The other hot tub appeared to be filled with warm salt water that was very relaxing to float in. After about 30 mins in the water area separately we met up and headed into the sauna area. There are 4 saunas - a super hot charcoal sauna, a slightly less hot jade sauna, a cold sauna and a pleasantly warm Himalayan salt sauna. All the spaces were clean and well maintained. The water area is a bit slippery and I nearly slipped several times on the wet tiles so consider yourself warned (there are also signs). I do wish they put out some more mats or something textured on the floors are the shower area to make it safer. We had some snacks at the restaurant which is a mix of Korean and American food. The Kimbap was freshly made there but be prepared for a bit of a wait. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We went on a weekday and it wasn't crowded but apparently weekends get very busy! read more

Went to Spa Light with a couple of friends and it was a good experience. When you first check in, you're given a wristband that is your ticket around the spa. There were a couple pools in the "bathing" area with different temperatures that was relaxing. This is the area where I did my Korean Scrub as well. The Korean scrub was great. It isn't meant to be relaxing because the lady is putting in work to get rid of all the dead skin and I felt great afterwards. There were also a four different dry sauna rooms you can go to with different temperatures. If you're done with the sauna, there is a restaurant inside or some lounge chairs. Overall, it was clean and relaxing. It's a great option for the New England area since there aren't a lot of options like this near by but this is pricey for the amount of sauna options compared to other Korean Spas I've been to. read more

I treated my sister and myself to a day pass and a salt scrub at Spa Light, and the experience was the opposite of relaxing. We had appointments booked for 2:00 PM and 2:50 PM, and we arrived early as instructed -- about 1 hour beforehand -- to soak in the hot tubs before our scrubs. However, shortly after we arrived, the scrub technician mistakenly called my sister in right away. My sister tried to explain that her appointment wasn't until 2:00 and that she hadn't had a chance to soak, but she said the woman just yelled at her. There was another woman waiting, who I believe had the actual 1:00 PM appointment, but my sister was taken in instead. When my sister came out, she told me that the scrub tech had been very mean and had yelled at her during the treatment. I expected some roughness in the scrub itself, but not hostility. After that, the woman who had been waiting for her 1:00 appointment was called in next, and then finally, after quite a long wait, it was my turn. When I went in, I had trouble understanding the technician, and when I didn't understand what she was saying, she abruptly shouted "NO!" at me. She told me to take off my swimsuit and get completely naked, and I did as instructed, but I was already feeling uneasy. Lying there exposed on a plastic table, being yelled at, was deeply uncomfortable. If you have ever experienced sexual trauma -- or honestly, any kind of trauma -- this setup could be extremely triggering. You are completely vulnerable, with no sense of privacy or emotional safety. I found myself crying quietly through much of the scrub, just wanting it to be over. By the time I finished, my sister had already an hour enjoying the saunas, and we had to leave soon after, so I didn't even get to use my day pass because I had planned to use the sauna while she was in her treatment but when her treatment got moved up, I stayed in the tub so that I would soak the full hour as I was instructed to. Then she called in the other lady, and the schedule was so completely thrown off that I just stayed in the tubs. I'm sharing this not to be cruel, but to warn others: this environment is not trauma-informed or sensitive in any way. The mismanaged scheduling, lack of communication, and harsh treatment left me shaken, not relaxed. I truly hope the management takes steps to improve professionalism and empathy toward clients. read more

Honestly, I didn't have a good experience here. I brought my mother and myself to the spa because we were looking for a nice relaxing day on my parents anniversary. I booked massages for her and myself. The only spot they had open was at 10:15 and they open at 10:00. The biggest problem was the check-in area. It's essentially a gated entrance and exit where you get a watch/key for your locker. The person who managed this area was very disorganized, handing us paperwork to fill out and telling us to wait. Facility and what services they offer even though we signed up for the day pass in addition to the massage. On top of that, with all the confusion, each of us lost time on our massages. The whole experience was quite rushed and did not leave us feeling relaxed. I did communicate these issues to the manager who got us to free smoothies from their snack area as well as $50 off. The kicker is they have an automatic gratuity which ended up negating any of the supposed way he had to make up for the problems. On top of that, the checkout was equally as painful with the same staff who handled the check-in. I think they need to really revamp their organization for the entrance. If they want to make this a Day spa, that's attractive. The other thing that was problematic was that they wanted every guest to remove their shoes before they even entered the locker room. It's really inefficient. The lockers themselves don't work and many of the guests had problems with opening and locking their lockers, including myself. The lockers are also quite small, difficult to hold a small tote as well as a change of clothes without falling all over the place. The fact that you have to put your shoes on after you get dressed in the lobby area also makes no sense. I've never had that experience in many of the other spas that I've been to. The massage itself was nice. We got the the stone massage stone massage was good but it was rushed because of the inefficiencies with the check in. Hence it was not very relaxing. Because we didn't get any kind of introduction. We kind of had to figure things out for ourselves. I spoke to some other guests and the manager who I ended up reporting. The feedback did show us around a little bit and explain to us how they roll. I did like the Jade sauna. As well as steam room and Cold plunge. The massage chairs were also quite nice and very relaxing. I think if I were to come here again I would only come for the day pass. However, that in and of itself isn't very cheap at $90. Honestly, I don't think that it was worth all of that. I can get much cheaper in the area that I live in Washington, DC. I also don't think that they are at a high tier level spa. Kind of experience. I ended up leaving the spa feeling more stressed out than when I started the day. That's not a good feeling when you're going to a spot to relax. The price point is quite high, especially with the automatic 20% gratuity. The other thing that I noticed was that the massage therapist was essentially watching the front desk ring up my charges to ensure that they were going to get a gratuity despite all of the confusion and inconvenience to myself. This was a WONDERFUL spa to go to. Helpful staff, cool and tranquil atmosphere and the service was amazing. The place is very clean and well maintained. Just an FYI for my plus size girlies, the bathrobes/uniforms they provide will be on the small side (bathrobes can fit up to XL and the uniform SHIRT is up to XXL). The only downside is that the shorts don't match the size of the shirts (one size fits most). I would HIGHLY reccomend you bring your own robe and lounge wear to wear outside of the bathhouse. Bathhouse was very respectful. Ladies can wear a bathing suit in the bath house but not necessary (do what's most comfortable for you). The massage I booked was amazing. The young man Anthony was very professional and was dedicated in making sure you were relaxed and felt comfortable. read more

Very disappointed that the cold bath was out of commission due to cleaning, not sure why they wouldn't clean the tubs when they are closed so guests can enjoy them when they are open fir business. . They also apparently didn't have enough staff on hand. They had several massage and foot massage chair set up, but told us they could only do one at a time and the first reservation was at 1:30, we were there at 9:30am a party of 4 . We also asked about getting full massages and again was told Oonly one massage at a time even though they had plenty of rooms and the first appointment wasn't until 3:30. Worst. Experience. This place is not what it used to be. You will leave feeling embarrassed and violated. I first walk in, and nothing stood out, no warm welcome. Then we are getting some clothes and robes, and I asked for a small and was given a medium because "they aren't stretchy". The medium was too big, and I was mortified and embarrassed. Do not go with people you aren't ready to be fat shamed in front of. The steam room was dirty. Wet napkin, sticker on the seat from a new bathing suit. Just awful. Staff was not welcoming and did nothing to maintain the area. Food was a nightmare. It was awful, with not much variety. And extremely high prices. The staff laughed at my pronunciation, and it made me want to avoid the whole thing. They also do not offer any privacy option anymore. No dressing rooms. No private showers. The scrub will leave you pushed out naked in front of anyone and everyone in the pool area. Over $800 was spent here and I honestly would have rather of stayed home. I am full of regret, and feel violated by the experience. read more

I enjoyed my visit to Spa Light but for an expensive experience I thought everything was just alright. I really enjoyed the four different coed saunas that had unique and pretty aesthetics - I liked that they all had different stones, heats, and intentions for use. I followed the progression as advised (Himalayan salt, jade, charcoal, cool) and got a good sweat, felt very relaxed afterwards. After using the saunas we made our way to the massage chairs that were pretty standard, although I do wish there was a bit more effort into the chair room to make it a relaxing environment (just a dark room with 4 chairs). They also had a bathing house separate for men and women that consist of two hot tubs and one cold. I thought the hot tubs could have been way hotter. There is also a dining area that has lots of yummy korean food options (a bit pricey) and fun drinks. I had the kimbap which was good. Overall I think the saunas are the highlight if you are to do a day pass. read more

I got an Essential massage and I'm now a relaxed glob of a human~ Food was also great. Fried rice hit the spa after hours at the pools area. I've been looking for a Korean spa since I moved to New England. I was happy that I finally got to come here. It's smaller than the spas I'm used to but it was really nice. The facilities are very clean and the customer service was great. The massage I got was also very relaxing. I didn't try the food this time. I came on a Saturday and the parking lot closest to the spa was full due to the casino next door. I parked in one across the road. So be mindful of that if coming on a weekend. read more

I went to this day spa for my 32nd birthday as a self treat! It was really nicely set up and very spacious. They have many services from facials-couples massages; they also have a few packages you could choose from (best to call for accurate info). I bought the $90 admission day pass which gets you quite the variety of fun. You get to explore 3 diff types of pools (cold plunge & 2 diff hot tubs), a steam room (my personal fav), 4 saunas (jade room, cold sauna, dry sauna, Himalayan salt room), massage chairs and a delicious restaurant inside called "hana" serving korean food. Their dumpling ramen was delish!! They provide a robe, towels and slippers for you to use throughout the day. The only negative comment I have to say is that their maximum capacity is too high (70 people). It's a spa, and even on the weekend or holiday weekend it should be a QUIET & enjoyable experience. For that I have to take offf 2 stars because it was just too busy. Highly recommend you do not go on a weekend. read more

Spa Light is the spa located inside Bally's. They are located near the main entrance, with a set of doors right at the entrance. As you enter, you are asked to take off your shoes. No shoes allowed. They supply you with some white soft slippers that eventually you get to keep. We started in the locker room. We were given a key and a locker s well as a white robe. We started in the water area- 3 hot tubs (all different temps and with cascading water or a deep step) and a cold tub for a quick walk through. Showers as well. After exiting the water area, we walked through the little restaurant who looked to be offering smoothies and asian food. We then got to choose between two different temperature saunas (one was hell), a cold room and a Himalayan salt room. The cold room was my favorite! The floor felt so nice under my bare feet and cold on my shoulders. There were also heat beds and a room with massage chairs that were antigravity. I did really enjoy the massage chairs as well. I hit a bunch of buttons and it took me on a relaxing journey. Plus it was times, so all my friends journey ended at the same time. This was my first experience at a place like this. It was great for girl time (although I think we were supposed to be quiet in the water area.) VERY clean. Very relaxing. Pro tips: 1. This is a first come first serve type of place. If it's busy- you will have to wait. 2. Clothing optional in the water areas 3. You can buy a day pass and utilize all these services (the restaurant is extra.) The day pass during the week is less expensive and sometimes they run deals on the pass. 4. Make it a day/night. We did girls night. It was a Friday night and we were able to get right in. My overall experience at SpaLight was satisfactory. The mid-week pricing of $60 proved to be a worthwhile investment. The facility offered two hot pools, a cold pool, and a steam room, all segregated by gender. While in the pool room, we encountered an issue with the non-functioning steam room. The staff at Spalight demonstrated a commendable commitment to resolving the problem promptly and successfully managed to restore functionality to the steam room. I sincerely appreciate their exceptional dedication in ensuring that we had the opportunity to enjoy the steam room experience. The communal area provided additional amenities, including food options, comfortable heated chairs, a cold dry room, a jade sauna, a hot sauna, and a Himalayan salt room. The facility maintained a clean and comfortable environment, and the staff displayed a friendly demeanor. While the facility was generally well-equipped, it would have been preferable to have a few more amenities available, such as fruit-infused water, sandals (customers are required to bring their own or you can purchase at the cost of $7), and swimsuit dryers. I am rating Spalight a 4 out of 5, I found the additional services provided such as exfoliating scrubs, massages and etc to be excessively priced. read more

Got here really early in the day on a Wednesday and stayed petty much till the end of the day. Loved the midweek special to cut the cost a bit. They give you a robe and a locker key when you walk in. There's changing rooms with lockers and bathrooms across the hall. The showers are inside the wet spa room. There is also two hot tubs, a steam room and a cold plunge. There's a section that's divided from the rest of the room with accordion style room dividers for if you book a massage. Down the hall there in a little restaurant. I forget what I got to eat but it was quite tasty. There are also heated chairs which were really love to lounge on and nap in. Next to that are three hot sauna that get progressively hotter and a cold sauna. I really enjoyed going from the hot to cold sauna. read more

When I heard a Korean spa with pools and saunas was opening in Rhode Island, I was super excited. I have went to SoJo Spa in NJ many times and always enjoy my experience there. Spa light is maybe 1/4 of Sojo Spas size, but you can still have a nice relaxing time. There are gender neutral areas which are the 4 saunas, restoration area and eating area. The locker rooms are gender specific and has pools in there. There is a huge free parking lot which is great. When you walk in, you'll be greeted by the concierge. Many people have made reservations for massages or services, but we just came to use the spa. We were given bracelets for the locker rooms. Then, we were told to take off our shoes and place it in a plastic bag. Admission is charged at the end. The saunas are dry sauna, jade sauna, Himalayan salt, and cold sauna. There are timers and temperature gauges in the room. I enjoyed the dry sauna the best. The restoration area has 8 chairs facing a tv showing sea life. The chairs have outlets and are heated. This area is in between the eating area and the saunas, so there are people talking, blender whirring, people ordering, and people passing by. The pools in the women locker room were hot, warm, and cold. There were no temperature indicators. There is also a sauna. The food was also very good at Hana. I had the spicy pork and it was very filling. The mango smoothie was really good too. The showers are open and there is a small stall with a curtain that you can use to change. Service was great. You could see the staff constantly cleaning the floors and refilling water bottles. Because of the size of the spa, I'm not sure it can handle a lot of people at one time. Pool selection: Good pool area for the women's only section. There is a warm pool, hot pool, and a cold pool to dip into before the steam room. However not bathing suit optional in this section like other Korean unisex spa areas I've been to. Sauna: great sauna area with very cool stone structures and different minerals. Food: we tried the beef bulgogi, ramen and the spicy pork dish. The spicy pork dish was hands down the winner. As my husband said, the beef bulgogi "seemed to be missing something's" - only equipped with beef, lettuce, egg and gochujang. Rice also seemed Thai and not as sticky as typical Korean rice. Cons: -I brought a water bottle but there is no dispenser so you have to keep drinking their plastic bottled water, which does add up. I wish this facility had a dispenser. -They don't provide slippers, but should state that you can bring your own on the website. I didn't realize I could wear outside shoes. -The floating beds are a nice touch, but the auto play video was frozen on some pretty disturbing clips for a while before anyone noticed. See attached picture -the toilet seat claims to have a rotating seat protector but it is not functional as there is nothing in the dispenser (see attached) Overall a nice experience which was a lot pricier than what you get in LA as there is no competition here. 0/10 would not recommend. Booked a hydrating facial treatment and developed red, inflamed, bumps all over my face the next day. I had clear skin prior to the treatment and have gotten many facials before and this has never happened. When I called the spa, they said there were no estheticians available to speak to me. They didn't even take my name or phone number. They simply gave me a generic email address to send a message to the owner. It's been over a week since I called and emailed and there's been no response. My friend got the same treatment and experienced the same irritation. She called and was told it has "never happened before" despite me having called the previous day voicing the same concerns. She was basically told good luck and just wait for the irritation to subside. If you don't mind leaving with your skin in worse condition than before your treatment then this is the spa for you. If you have never been to a place like this, it's nice. But if you have, you see everything that it is lacking. For context, I have been to Nordic Spas, Turkish Spas, Saunas, float pools, and etc around the country and world. And base on that, this place is okay. Pros, plenty of parking, affordable, different types of saunas, pools, and a cafe. Cons -Very small, we had to join a wait list -People don't read the signs and talk very loud -The food isn't really Korean and not part of the package -Slippers are $7, so bring your own -The water jets are mild -Reserve in advance especially if you want facials, massage, or scrubs -Saunas are far from the plunge pool and the other pools are not that hot If you have been to other places you may not like this one. Reservations are not allowed, so when we walked in we were told we would have to wait 2 hours. They were also severely under staffed. The food inside the spa is so expensive you feel bad for spending that on food. Other than saunas, jacuzzis, and massage chairs there is not much to do at all. This was my first time at spa light. First, I think the front desk young lady was not very friendly. She was very short with me when I asked questions about the $25 off which I was misled about. I kept it light because I did not want to ruin my day because it was my birthday. Another thing they need to do is ask questions when we book appointments like- is this your first time? Also let us know what to bring. Tell us we need a bathing suit and no lotions if you're doing the Korean Body scrub. Nothing was explained. I will say Mia who did my Korean scrub was amazing. This place is honestly amazing. A great place to get some peaceful, restful relaxation. It gives you time to be introspective or just enjoy company silently- that's how you know they are good company. A couple of things to know- The water is separate for men and woman but the dry saunas are shared. This is a Korean bathhouse so look it up before you come, so that you are not surprised. The rooms are clean and the pool areas is clean. Definitely come during the week if you like your alone time but if not the clientele is good but just more of them on the weekends. The massage was incredible- honestly the best massage that I have ever gotten. Thomas was the man! A couple of suggestions that would make this place outstanding 1. Drinking Water in the pool areas. I kept having to leave to get one. 2. Eucalyptus room would be a great addition. 3. Maybe a discounted price to people who want to use the spa 10-12. The moonlight discount. I can't comment about the food but the menu sounds tasty! Overall kudos to the staff and owners this is a great establishment. And I loved your July specials- please keep the specials coming. A week and a half ago I went to spa light and unfortunately I had the most painful and uncomfortable Swedish massage I've ever experienced. I asked my therapist multiple times to please go lighter and she never did- it felt like a deep tissue massage vs a gentle Swedish massage like I asked. And after my comment she laughed and massaged me harder?! Then, towards the end of the massage, when I was facing up, the therapist was massaging my neck and arms (very roughly), and then she massaged my back AGAIN... while I was laying UP- which didn't make sense to me because I wasn't in the proper position you would massage someone's back. She pressed very hard from my left shoulder blade, down on my spine, and across to my right shoulder blade. And because I wasn't in a common position to work on someone's back, she must have done something wrong because now my back, specifically my right shoulder blade area is in so much pain. I really don't think someone should ever work on someone's back while they are facing up as that's unnecessary since she already worked on that body part and it can be very dangerous because of the shoulder blades being pointed down in that position. **in addition, I've emailed spa light / the manager TWICE and called multiple times requesting a full refund and I have yet to hear back. When I called, multiple people from the front desk told me they would tell the manager about my experience and no one has called me back. This is extremely unprofessional and unfortunate. Absolutely the worst spa experience of my life and I'm still in so much pain. read more

Stayed in Providence for 1 night and wanted to try to get into this spa! We called around 2 pm asking if there was availability for 2 and the woman said she'll take my information and give us a call when they are not at full capacity. I got a call around 4:30 and we were at the spa around 5! It was so nice and not crowded. It was quiet and the saunas were clean and very nice. We did not get robes due to the busy scheduled day. The massage chairs were great! The hot tub in the locker room was not the hottest although I prefer a hot hot tub and it was still great. Parking was not ideal. The casino is busy so parking was very difficult. Overal amazing experience! Will be back when we visit again! read more

Came to the spa with no expectations except the fact that we would be spending a good amount of money and time here on a Wednesday. Upon entering we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. She explained everything quickly but was available to take any questions as we moved along with the process and was super helpful throughout our first experience there. Entry fee was 60$. My friend told me this was a seasonal rate and that it is a little higher after a specific date. From what I understood, this entry fee included the bath house, use of the facilities such as bathroom, water bottles, very small changing area, & then the saunas and steam room. We obviously walked around and spent time at each. We loved the steamer inside of the bath house. We booked facials as well. She had a collagen facial for 180$ and I booked for a hydrating facial for 170$. We both came out in love. Well worth the money spent and agreed it was the best facial we had ever gotten. The lady who did my facial was amazing. Super comforting and such a nice soul! Would recommend a facial here for sure. Now, here are the reasons I knocked them down a star: They only have one small area to change. Literally one standing corner that you can close with a curtain for ONE person at a time. That is all. Half the time, it was taken so I changed inside of a bathroom stall (ew). If they had a separate changing area that would be great. Another thing is, the Suanas stopped working while we were there using them. So our time in the suanas was cut short. They just shut off while we were in them so we had to leave and find a worker to let them know. We went back after awhile and were told the technician was working on getting them back on and that we would have to wait and come back to see if they were running again. (We killed time at the bathhouse and eventually came back to them working again.) However, we were not discounted for the inconvenience or given any acknowledgment of it during check out. When it is a part of the fee or an amenity that's supposed to be readily available, it seemed like an important thing to make up for when it is out of service during your visit. -All in all, we each spent roughly 300$ & we would do it again. We agreed, this has to be on our to do-list every few months. We are teachers and God knows we need our me time Recommending them to everyone! read more

I really like this spot for a few reasons. They are the only spa of this type in our area so it is nice to have the option for the hot tubs/cold plunge; however, the last two times I have been the steamroom has been broken/off. If that is the case, I think the price should be reduced/clients should be informed before spending the $80-$100 for a day pass as this is basically a third of the services available. The "hot" hot tub is not super hot but it is nice to do a cold/hot dip after a long week at the gym. The coed facilities are great and clean as well, and I always enjoy the food I get there. This place is good to go to unwind and be peaceful for the day by yourself or with groups. They do watch to make sure people are not using their mobiles and everyone is very respectful. I give it a 3/5 because the price is high when they dont have all of their facilities open, and unfortunately it is not uncommon for the steamroom to be broken. If they could get this under control, and turn up the temps in the hot tubs I would consider to give them a 4/5. read more

First of all I would love to say this place is amazing! I travel a lot and this has to be the best spa we visited by far! The place is gorgeous and the staff has Nordstrom level customer service! We went to the spa Feb 1 2023 and to hour surprise the 80 dollar admission fee we 50% off! So we could not resist! We go on 4 vacations a year and this was the first time we could actually just relax ! Thank you so much my friends we will be back soon!
