I see Alanna. Recommend her highly. Willing to bet you've never had better. You can have a day or evening appointment.

Don't go there they don't care about their patients. They dragged things along for 8 months finally…read moregot an appointment and then they referred us to our primary doctor. Everyone knows there are barely any good psychiatrists taking patients. Thanks for a whole lot of nothing Gershon.

I'm giving 2 stars because my therapist was fantastic, but everything else about this place sucks…read more The wait (even pre-Covid when the whole world ended up going into counseling) was obnoxious. I initially had to have a full diagnostic battery of tests and it took MONTHS to get the results. I needed them to confirm a childhood diagnosis my employer wouldn't accept for proof of my need for an accommodation. The person who did the test was clearly embarrassed bc the test and the report was finished but was waiting for Dr Gershon (or whoever, a Dr anyway) to "sign off" on it. Dude. Put your little stamp on it and let me have it. Ugh. After that, I entered counseling for ADHD, and guess what? They don't CONSISTENTLY send out appt reminders. You'd think, people who have a medical condition that makes them forgetful and disorganized would get a little help from the practice where they are seeking treatment. Nope. They will also never call you. I have had therapists/counselors in the past that would call me to make sure I was ok if I didn't show up. You know, because they realize it might be because you AREN'T ok....Not at Gershon. No call, no show = $$$ in their pocket and they get to go home early. Oh, and if you run late, or need to reschedule because you have a sick kid that day and can't go anywhere, don't bother calling. They NEVER answer the phone. NEVER. So when you get there 10 min late, they turn you away because you were no call, no show, EVEN THOUGH the therapist is STILL with the previous patient so you woulda been sitting there ANYWAY. This happened twice. I got there on time once, (I have ADHD remember? This was remarkable for me, lol) and since there was no receptionist (gone home for the day) no one knew I was there. Therapist was with previous patient late since "she didn't know I was there because I never checked in" with who?? The ghost? Another time I called the morning of my 7pm appt because I had an emergency to cancel/reschedule and was only able to leave a message. They tried to bill me for that session! It is not my fault you don't check messages or hey, PICK UP THE PHONE. It's a doctor's office, not the DMV. Long story short: if you need counseling because you have problems, don't go here, they will get worse because you will be ignored, hassled, aggravated, and strung along with empty promises ("Your results will be ready with 2 weeks" HA!) Therapists are great, but the rest of the staff is wretched and their policies are not patient friendly or care-based.

I had a relationship with Lisa for several years and she truly transformed my life. Before meeting…read moreLisa, I felt confused, angry, unstable, and constantly anxious as a standard in my life. At the end of our relationship, I am now confident in my self regulation, stable minded, and happy as a new daily life standard. I understand my trauma now more than I ever did before working with Lisa. I would not have been able to understand or learn the tools I have now if I did not work with Lisa to improve my life. If you are in need of a personal or life transformation, Lisa is here to support and guide you through your journey. She is patient, supportive, and validating, first and foremost. She is thorough in her work, detail oriented, hardworking, and she will lead you with a positive mindset. The benefits Lisa's work has given my life are priceless and unending. My relationships with others are better - instead of self sabotaging, I now have the skills and tools to foster healthy relationships with loved ones, ultimately leading to a happier life. I'm able to set critical boundaries with confidence to protect myself when it is (inevitably) needed. I am able to be much kinder to myself than ever before, leading to increased confident and greater successes in my work and social life. 100% recommend Lisa to work with. She is a genuinely kind hearted individual with a thoughtful, selfless mind. She sets a standard for therapist globally. Very hard working and excels at her job. Thank you so much Lisa.
