Victoria is amazing-limped in with such tight and painful muscles and woke the next day with great relief from the pain-will be going back-soon! read more

The staff is very nice and oh my gosh that was the most amazing experience! Couldn't say enough good things about this place. Ben was very knowledgeable and helpful with treating my pain. I will definitely be returning again soon. read more

I had a 60 minute massage with Kathryn and she was great! She was very welcoming and took the time to discuss my needs with me. I also added hot stones (which was free since I brought in 3 cans to donate to the RI Food Bank - awesome!). Making the appointment was super convenient and communication from the staff was superb. The prices are standard depending on which massage you choose. The ambience of the location is very cozy, and everything is clean. read more

Awesome Lymphatic massage- Didn't know that it could be done, and I really felt tremendous afterwards, and it was very knowledgeable

Over the past 20 years I've gone to a few different people and places for massage and this is by far my favorite. I've gone to a few different massage therapists and they are all good. I leave there feeling far better than when I walked in and for that I am grateful. Each treatment room is beautifully decorated which makes it even more enjoyable beyond just having a fantastic treatment. I love that you can book online and get text and email reminders. read more

I have tried several massage places in and around Providence looking for my perfect place. I think I found that place: Body Kneads. Like Bailey M., I came here the first time with a Groupon for a basic 60-minute Body Kneads massage, which I scheduled with Victoria -- the owner. Despite a bit of a rough start, the experience was phenomenal. I arrived very early to find a closed, we'll be back sign, set to 15 minutes before my appointment -- the time they recommend arriving for your first massage. About five minutes before my appointment, Victoria came to the door. I realized she had a last minute booking and had mistakenly thought my appointment was 15 minutes later than it was. An honest mistake, and she was very apologetic. She did everything she could to make sure I relaxed before my appointment from offering me tea and water to showing me the bathroom. She also made sure I got the full hour. The ambiance is conducive to complete relaxation: an old Victorian house, the calming scent of eucalyptus, electric heaters to keep the temperature perfect, soothing colors and decor, and clean, soft lines on the table. There are two rooms, both of which are beautiful, and the therapists play relaxing music on iPods to complete the atmosphere. Victoria went so far as to place a hot heating pad on my stomach and back during my massage to make sure the chilly air didn't affect my treatment. A bolster is placed under your knees when you're laying on your back, and under your ankles when you lay on your stomach to ensure proper alignment and comfort. All of the massage therapists are certified and have had years of education and experience. I went back for a follow-up treatment with Kati -- they offer a 20% discount after your first visit to come back, an offer well worth taking advantage of. Both Victoria and Kati were knowledgeable and thorough and able to speak with me about my concerns. Before my massage with Victoria, I had been having dull, chronic pain in my left jaw; I haven't felt the pain since my massage with her, after which she mentioned all of the tension on my left side. I also met Chris, and he seemed approachable and professional as well. I highly recommend any of these three, as their techniques and pressure are very similar. The prices are reasonable, and they run several deals in addition to the return visit deal mentioned above. You can receive $10 off for bringing a food item for the food bank, and they also offer multiple-massage packages at a discount. Body Kneads does accept credit cards -- and they will send your receipt via email! -- however, tips cannot be put on your card, so be sure to have cash on your to thank these hard-working therapists. read more

I absolutely love this place! I've been here a few times and am a huge fan of Jenna and Johanna. Service is amazing and everyone is very friendly. Appointments can be made easily online or over the phone. Often times same day appointments can be accommodated. Definitely worth the price, I typically go for the 60 min massage. To make the most of your massage, make sure you mention any areas of concern and they'll definitely focus on those areas. Enjoy! read more

I'm a long-time client of Body Kneads and continue to be impressed with their expertise, professionalism, and friendliness. As someone in the fitness industry, I'm particular about wanting a massage therapist who really understands anatomy, biomechanics, and ergonomic issues. The therapists I've worked with, Katie and Victoria, both really get it. They're both smart, intuitive, and able to get right at the root of the problem. Although my various muscular pains and strains have mostly been minor, Katie and Victoria have worked wonders on me, and taught me techniques to sustain the benefits of their work. The rooms are tasteful, clean, and comfortable. Staff and owner all evince a natural, easy friendliness and professionalism. They also seem to be regularly involved in various community service efforts (like food drives for the Food Bank), which is nice. Visit them with complete confidence--you'll definitely become a regular. read more

This is a great small business. I received a gift card to come here a few years ago as a present and now it is the only place I'll go. Very relaxed atmosphere as well as a professional, prompt and knowledgable staff. I've been going to Jenna since I first came here and she's absolutely excellent. She always takes the time to talk about my specific needs and I always leave feeling like a million dollars. There were a few times I went in with a pulled neck/back and I felt 100% better after she worked on me. In addition to a great location on the east side, their prices cannot be beat. read more

I am so glad to get back to Body Kneads post Covid lockdown! I had a great restorative massage this week with Sheldon and will be back in a month. They are always mindful of hygiene, so the few tweaks of masques and amnendments to check in and out procedures did not overly impead the usual relaxing experience. So glad they reopened! read more

Body Kneads offers a wonderful combination of convenient locations and on-line booking in an attractive, relaxing environment with highly skilled, attentive staff. Over the past year I have had treatments with a number of the staff members. They are all good listeners who readily adapted to my particular needs, offering restorative and informative sessions. I have come to rely most frequently on Elizabeth for help with various sport/overuse issues. She is also proficient in a number of other techniques which we have discussed and often incorporate into my treatments. Elizabeth's welcoming professional and encouraging demeanor has made a true difference in how I feel and perform both at work and play. I am so pleased to have found your services. Thank you! I live around the corner from Body Kneads and always thought the name was really clever, so when I wanted to get a massage last week I booked an appointment. Had an excellent massage with Jenna! She was super knowledgeable and used the perfect pressure- I will definitely be back. Highly recommend-- read more

I got another great massage last week at Body Kneads! I was worried that my person was gone as I like to find someone I trust and keep going back. My only critique of Body Kneads (which is mostly true of all massage joints) is that people don't seem to stay for a long time. Last week I needed a personal day and had a lot of lower back and neck stress. Cat was available and she did me right! The music was soothing but not cheesy. The pressure was just right. I am booked for next month and can't wait for my next massage! read more

I had visited Body Kneads earlier this year for a massage, so I was familiar with the layout. I booked my waxing at a different salon. Kati kept me relaxed the whole time. The space is calm and quiet so you can try to relax. I'm so glad that I went and I will always try to use Kati from now on. Very luxurious, very charming, highly recommended! A bit too pricey though... read more

The atmosphere at Body Kneads is homey and unintimidating, relaxing and professional without being overly trendy or fussy. Katheryn is so warm and engaging, it's like getting a massage from a close friend. Her expertise with muscle anatomy is unparalleled. I'm prone to anxiety and racing thoughts, and her demeanor and astounding skill put me in a totally blissed-out state. Just as importantly, her approach was knowledgeable and professional, alleviating my chronic tension more thoroughly than any other massage I've had. read more

5 stars all around. Easy booking, reasonable prices and most importantly skilled therapists. I spent most of my massage in a relaxed trance. So worth it. read more

My massage therapist of 6 years moved away recently so finding a new place and a new massage therapist has been daunting task. Luckily Katheryn and Body Kneads are exactly what I need for my stressed out mind and body and very pesky knots! Katheryn was very understanding and made me feel completely comfortable. The sixty minutes flew as did my knots after the deep tissue work. The space is inviting, relaxing, (and clean). I had such a great experience with Katheryn, my massage itself, and Body Kneads in general, that my next massage is already booked! read more

This place in my opinion, is the best place to be. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. I've gone to Courtney twice for a massage. Her attention to detail is spot on and her "read on her clients" is excellent. Very enjoyable, entertaining and interactive woman. Courtney then sang the praises of JoHannah for reflexology as I had inquired about those services. Today I was able to book a last-minute appointment with JoHannah and it was such a blessing. I've had a headache for weeks now and when I left JoHannah's table my headache and any residual aches had vanished. I am at my desk right now and still in a very mellow, focused and uplifted mood. I will frequent Body Kneads as often as I can. read more

I just had the most amazing 90 minute relaxation massage by Elizabeth. It was the best massage I've had in Providence, by far. I left feeling rejuvenated. Elizabeth was very attentive to problem areas and incorporated many techniques. I generally need firm massages and she knew exactly what to do. She also gave me some tips for stretching and working on muscle tightness. I had been looking for a massage practice to return to and I will definitely return. read more

Matt and I did a couples massage for his birthday, and after calling every massage place in CT to see if they were open on Memorial Day we ended up having to venture out to RI and I'm so glad we did. This was my first massage and it was absolutely wonderful, Im already thinking of when I can go back. Matt does strenuous labor, and really needed extra shoulder work, he said his massage therapist was excellent and he ended up being so relaxed he fell asleep! 10000% satisfied, cannot wait to return! :-) read more

Body Kneads provides luxury with comfortable charm. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and make you feel like you are at home. My massage therapist, Chris, was a master of his technique. He put me completely at ease, and provided enough pressure and comfort to make the hour go by in a flash. If you live near Providence, run, don't walk, to Body Kneads. I encourage everyone not only to go there themselves, but to give the gift of a certificate to friends and family. You will absolutely not regret it!!! read more

Great service and well run Bodywork establishment. They do the little things well. JoHanna is amazing! I could say more but hat pretty much covers it. She is attentive, intuitive and thoughtful. read more

My boyfriend and I each booked a basic massage and I decided to add on the hot stones. The location is in a beautiful little old house and they've decorated the inside nicely to make it feel nice and homey. Everyone was very professional, welcoming and inviting. The massage was great! I was there for relaxation and I definitely left feeling loose and content. I would definitely come back again on a future weekend trip to Providence! read more

I had the 90 minute restorative kneads massage with Courtney and it was amazing! I was sore and stiff from recent exercise when I walked in. That was all gone when I left. I was very relaxed and the muscle soreness was pretty much gone. Body Kneads goes out of their way with little extras that make your whole massage experience that much more special. I would recommend this place (and Courtney!) to anyone looking for massage. I can't wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful treatment--and the cupcake! read more

I had two massage sessions with Courtney, which were great. I really felt much better after the sessions which have been very thorough. Courtney does not do some superficial massage, but a very skilled manipulation of your muscles including stretching. The ambience is nice, everything was handled professionally and in a very friendly way. read more

This place is fantastic! I don't live in Providence, but I have come here twice for massages when I happened to be in the area. I have had Courtney and Jenna, and both of them were perfect. read more

As a person who got AT LEAST 1 massage per week before I moved to Providence, I must say I've had a hell of a time finding a good place to go in the area. A good place that isn't trying to financially cripple me, that is. My first experience with Body Kneads was through Groupon, I had just recently had a terrible experience with another masseuse in the area and was skeptical. However, right as I walked in I knew (maybe more like hoped) this place would be different. The atmosphere is homey: they have comfortable chairs and even offered me some tea after my massage. The massage itself was great - Kati listened to what I wanted and checked in periodically. I, personally, like a very firm, deep pressure and I got exactly that without feeling like I was being mashed into the table (always a plus). I've been back several times since then and used Kati and Chris (both great!). I also have an appointment for Tuesday and I plan to bring 3 non-perishable food items to donate so I can get a discount on my massage. How awesome is that?! P.S. if you're friends with Body Kneads on Facebook they always put out updates about specials and last minute appointments. read more

I received a 90-minute Restorative Kneads massage and was really pleased with the experience. I was able to book online and filled out the requested paperwork prior to the visit. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was greeted by Christopher who took time asking me about any problem areas that needed to be addressed. Overall a great experience and I will be booking again in the future. read more

I've been seeing Jenn for a while now! She is fantastic! She always asks what my problems are and focuses on those areas (mainly legs and left neck/shoulder, I don't even have to tell her about that now). If you're looking for a good quality massage at a reasonable price, check them out! read more

I absolutely love this place. My fiancé and I keep going here time after time. The location is perfect, right next to whole foods...and the massage is just wonderful. Kate and Cathy do an excellent job. The whole house is clean, relaxing and has a very warm feeling to the place. You leave feeling rejuvenated. read more

Sometimes you hate to review a place, as you want it all to yourself, but I love this place. When we first moved to Providence a few months ago, after a bad, bad move, a massage was just what I needed. I was not disappointed. Very friendly, professional, easy to get to and park, very relaxing. Have worked primarily with Chris and he has been great and worked with Jennifer once as well, and equally happy. I love that they work with the food bank (and have a discount with it as well!) and affordable overall and a great place to return again and again. read more

My husband & I just had a massage here yesterday & it was exactly what we hoped for. Despite being a converted home, it was super quiet/relaxing. My masseuse was Joanne & besides being chatty (partially my own fault bc I answered her back in detail whereas if you just say yes/no, they usually get the point & let you melt into relaxation), she hit ALL my trigger points with the PERFECT pressure. My husband had Jenny the intern & thoroughly enjoyed his half price massage - "a steal!" He was happy that she sat him down, pin pointed his aches, & masterfully went to work. If we lived in Providence, we'd go back every week! read more

So professional, well decorated, and relaxing. I had Kati and I wanted deep tissue work on my back so she mainly concentrated on it. I had had a Shiatsu massage at a different place and was dissatisfied with the service and my back was still in pain. Kati did a great job and was so nice. I was really happy with the massage and the entire experience (and I've had massages at some really nice places before). I would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone that needs to relax or have some kinks worked out! read more

Awesome place!! Catherine did a fantastic job.. I fell asleep towards the end . Had tight muscle after a strenuous workout and she worked her magic . Definitely going back! read more

I bought a Groupon for a one hour massage at Body Kneads in Providence. I had a 1:30 appointment and on my way there I got a call from Victoria asking me if I could move my appointment to 1:45 instead because they were running late. I was already on my way there but agreed to run an errand and come in 15 minutes late. I walked in around 1:40 and the girl I was scheduled with, Kati, was already waiting for me. I filled out my paperwork and went in for my massage. Katie was wonderful, she knew what she was doing which I really appreciated, however the massage itself seemed way too short. I thought maybe it was because I usually go for an hour and a half massage, but when she left the room and I looked at the clock, it was only 2:30. I don't think she realized that I was asked to come in late and instead cut the extra 15 minutes off the back end of my massage. I figured there was nothing I could do, so I left without saying anything to Kati (plus at that point I was already dressed) but the more I think about it the more upset I get that 25% of my massage was lost due to a miscommunication between the Body Kneads staff. Due to this I would not return to Body Kneads which is unfortunate because the price was good and I did enjoy the 45 minute massage I had. read more

Awesome massage from Chris! He was able to get right to my troubled spots and do just the right moves to relieve some pain. I was completely relaxed and comfortable on the warm table. He had great communication which is so important. The place is cozy and serene. I love that they take donations for the food bank. read more

Finally! A massage therapist who can go deep enough. After two months sleeping on a couch, a month in a recliner chair at the hospital by my mother's side, and two months of clearing out her apartment, I was in dire need of a good massage. Not just a good one, but a fantastic one. And that need was met. Thank you, Cathy. See you in three weeks! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Body Kneads. I had a 90 minute massage with Amanda Sunday and it was wonderful. I needed it in the worst way! I came to find out she is newer to the massage world, but she was so intuitive with the body that you would NEVER know it! Great pressure, Amazing! Love Love Love them! read more

Just bought what appeared to be a great deal for a reflexology massage from this business. It was a nightmare trying to book an appointment. From the incompetent guy who answered the phone to their lack of staffing. They do this great promotion, yet only have ONE reflexologist who works just part time. Calling Groupon to try to get my money back. read more

My favorite masseuse, Kati McNally, has left to start her own business. I gave Body Kneads another try with a new masseuse (Joanne), and was unsatisfied with my visit- both the massage and the conversation. I didn't leave feeling relaxed or that the kinks had been worked out of my body. From now on I'll be going to see Kati at her Cranston practice. read more
