They were super sweet and you…read morecan just tell they have a lot of knowledge when it comes to technique because they hit many great spots. Milanny gave the best neck and head massage I've ever gotten. Very firm pressure really helped with my headache! Only thing I took off a star for is the booking system. When I booked the massage I opted to add the extra foot massage which was $10 extra per person but no where on Vagaro does it say how long it would be for the extra $10 which I thought was weird. We booked a 90 minute massage and we got the full 90 minutes but nothing extra for the foot massage? It's a full body massage so I assumed that foot was already included like every other place so I assumed I'd be getting extra time for the add on but I didn't. So I'm not exactly sure what the extra $10 is for if it seems like I'm just asking for more attention on my feet since I didn't get extra time, but that doesn't add up because why would I have to pay extra for something that is included in the massage and they do ask me what are my problem areas before we began. I wouldn't recommend doing the add ons until you call and ask exactly how that works. Aside from that we would totally be going back and highly recommend.

I have been to this location several times before, and while every experience was different, it…read morewasn't terrible. I was seven months pregnant and my boyfriend got me a gift certificate for a massage. On multiple occasions I made an appointment through the website and then received a follow up email stating that the scheduled time cannot work on their end. I ended up not being able to get a prenatal massage before giving birth but went for a massage about three months after I had my baby. When I booked, I told them that my certificate was for a 90 prenatal massage, but I'd be using it on a 60 min regular massage. Prior to the massage I inquired how I would be compensated for the difference in either time or money as the prenatal 90 minute massage was significantly more of a cost than the massage I received. After taking my gift certificate at the time of payment, I was told I needed to email the owner for the difference in time. In my communication with the owner, she then decided to tell me the gift certificate was for a one time use only and I would receive nothing as a credit. I respectfully tried to explain that I wasn't looking for money back, but some form of credit towards an additional massage. She was rude and disrespectful to me via email and essentially stole my boyfriend's money knowingly ahead of time. If this was the outcome, she should have indicated it ahead of time when I originally inquired. She waited for me to use the certificate at approx 60% of its value before telling me I would not have any credit towards another massage. I would not recommend this practice to anyone moving forward.

I am used to enjoying Thai massages--here in the US and in Thailand. When I lived in Los Angeles, I…read morewould typically treat myself to one at least once a month. You can imagine how over the moon I was to find this place in lil' Rhody. Thai massages are dry massages and involve a lot of gentle stretching and some acupressure. I typically leave energized and not sleepy. The massage quality is at par with what one would expect for this modality. I have no complaints here. The only setback is the service rate. This place, perhaps due to lack of competition, is pricey. This has prevented me from coming regularly. That said, if you've never had a Thai massage before and are curious about what makes it different--while not planning to visit Thailand soon, or any other state where there are more spas offering this service--then do visit Thai Tranquility Bodywork. It's worth being familiar with Thai massage, and this place does a good job.

I had a massage here several months ago, and I haven't returned since…read more I called to schedule an appointment and was thankful for some last minute availability! With this place being near my home, it was super convenient as well. The building is a little tricky (and the parking lot is a nightmare) because it's right at a major intersection. However the interior was cute and calming. As far as the actual room where I got my massage... it was a little run-down, there was light pouring in the semi-open shades throughout which was disappointing. Not to mention the discomfort of getting undressed with the shades partially open, in a first floor room. I prefer dark rooms during a massage. About two minutes into the massage, she had to pause to change her music selections which took some time... then about four minutes after restarting, I had to ask her to stop because her fingernails were so sharp she was scratching my neck and throat. She had to go file the edges so they weren't painful. AND I had to continually ask her to lighten the pressure after explaining that I prefer medium to LIGHT pressure at the start. Disappointing... I'll definitely stick with my favorite spots going forward!!
