Was able to book a free float. The booking process was relatively simple and the atmosphere was calm whenever I went. The shower and the products were high quality! Definitely a highlight. The float was really relaxing, but sadly the music did not work properly. I heard it for the first 10 minutes and after that I wasn't able to turn it on again. The beauty bar was clean and well decorated and has a lot of products such as deodorant and heat protectant, but I wish there was more variety of aftercare products. Also, the beauty bar is not totally suitable for individuals with curly hair textures. Overall, this was a good visit. There seems to be a lot of thought put into the design and flow of the space. I did the introductory deal which was an hour of float time and 10 minutes in the massage chair. I've done a float session before and this experience was more spacious. I enjoyed the option to have no lights or lights on, plus optional music. My recommendation to you is to shower more thoroughly than you think that you have to at the end because I left with salt crusted around my ears and clavicle. I will definitely be back. read more

My partner and I decided to try a double-float room together. We initially had a difficult time getting ahold of anyone there (we had a discount code to apply and couldn't do it through the website so intended to book over the phone, but no one would ever pick up). Ultimately we booked online and (as I expected) they were able to adjust our booking once in person with no problem. We arrived and were greeted promptly . . . the atmosphere is really lovely and the staff member who assisted us was friendly and clear with instructions. We started with a 4D chair massage and that was ok, but not likely something we'd pay to do again. While a curtain is drawn around you, I would have preferred the massage chairs to not be right in the lobby where you can hear everything else happening (other guests checking in, etc.). Considering how lovely, sleek, and state-of-the-art the rest of the facility feels like, I really wish these chairs were in a separate room with dimmed lights for a more relaxing experience. Next, it was time for our soak! We had both tried "floating" before in a different establishment not too far away - so we knew generally what to expect, but we were happy to find a place where we could float together! We were given slippers and shown how to use the lockers and were then led down the hall to our float room . . . we LOVED the hallway and how it lit up as you walked through, very cool. In our room, you first are to shower using shampoo and body wash provided - the products smelled lovely! For a two-person experience, I do wish there were 2 shower heads in the shower area, as it was more "clunky" to try to keep taking turns under the water, but certainly not a deal breaker sort of thing. Finally, we were ready to float! I appreciate that the float tank is bigger than others, so there was plenty of room for us both to float and not bump into each other. The air and water were a lovely temp and easy to get into. We opted to turn OFF the overhead "star" feature as well as the music and lights so we were in complete silence and darkness . . . Eventually we both fell asleep and it was great, really relaxing. Afterwards, you are allowed 15min to shower and get dressed (which was plenty of time), and again, the bath products were lovely. We made our way to the "beauty bar" which is a unisex "public" space where there were single-use brushes to use, hair driers, and some body products. I would have LOVED if, for all of the body lotions/balms, there had maybe been a hair serum or leave-in conditioner spray or something - that would have been the cherry on the sundae and I think would be appreciated by many (my hair is a nightmare without it). If we go back, I'll remember and bring some . . . Note: I loved the hair dryer so much that I went out and bought the exact same one for home - they didn't skimp there ($$) so that was nice to see!! This was overall a really nice and relaxing experience . . . I look forward to going back and floating again! read more

The place was clean and nicely decorated. We booked a double float. We were brought in room by two staff members and show the room. We were told a voice would alert us to start and a voice and jets would alert to stop . We were show light buttons, panic buttons and music buttons. We heard no voice no music no start and stop voice and panic button didn't work. My husband got out wet and was told music would start just wait. . It never worked the entire time and with no cell phone I'm not sure how long we were even there. We let them know when we left that nothing worked correctly and where told it must have been a programming issue and they would tell the manager. The staff was nice but seemed untrained. Still tipped them 20 . Felt bad didn't even get a call from manager. It was a first time float and the lack of start and stop and especially no music. Will prob be the last. read more

I don't usually give such low of a rating, but I was a little disappointed to be honest. My appointment was at 1:30, after putting my stuff in the locker and showering, I was in the tank at 1:37. It being my first time, I kept my watch on and wanted to keep track of time. The water was cooler than expected and the air was slightly cooler than that, leaving whatever parts of my body that were above the water line, to feel a bit cold. I would think both the water and air temperature would be the same and at or slightly above body temperature. Either way, after a while, I started to get into a meditative state. I had all the lights and music off. I was really starting to relax and felt as if I was about to get into that desired meditative state and all of a sudden, both of the lights went on, at 2:07, exactly a half hour into it. I turned them off and then a minute later they went on again. It completely ruined the experience for me. Got me out of that relaxed state, trying to get back into it again, but knowing there was only a half hour left. On top of that, there was a lot of background noises I heard, footsteps, doors closing, and I could swear I heard a sound (two times) as if something was being moved. You would think if you're trying to deprive the senses, the rooms would be soundproof. When I told the person at the desk that my experience was ruined because the lights turned on half way, she did apologize and explained the timing of the lights and that next time they would set the timers differently. That really should be something they explain beforehand, but nevertheless my very expensive first experience was ruined. I would have expected that they would try to make it up to me and offer another session. As we all know, our hard earned money does not go as far as it used to. If I am spending $75 for one hour, I expect it to be a relaxing experience where my senses were truly deprived. The lights, the noises, and honestly the odd smell of the place, made it difficult to truly relax. There were definitely some positives, so I will share those as well. The girl at the front was friendly. I did feel relaxed during that first half hour. I loved the smell of the products in the shower. The ear plugs were great. They did stay in the whole time and kept the water out. I liked the beauty bar area as well. The smell I was smelling wasn't an awful smell, but it wasn't a nice smell either. I would recommend maybe have some essential oil scents to make the place feel more spa like. I don't know if it was the salt or what, but even my friend said to me before I even said anything, what is that smell? It almost smelled musty. I don't know. Could have been improved by adding a more pleasant smell somehow. Would I go back? I don't know. I liked the experience of the tank, but feel like spending $75 for the experience to be ruined half way and not being offered a redo so to speak, kinda made me feel like they didn't care that my experience wasn't great. There are other places like this I could check out first. This one is much closer to my home, so it is a shame, but I will be doing this type of experience again. read more

This is the second float spa in Rhode Island, the other in Warwick is great but this one is phenomenal. Just the fact that we have float tanks available in this area is amazing. I'm surprised there aren't many reviews yet for this place! My boyfriend and I did a 60 minute float in separate single rooms. They have double rooms that fit 2 people, but you can even float in the double rooms on your own for the same price as a single. Price isn't even a factor, in fact it's amazing. They have 50% off Wednesday floats seemingly all the time and their membership is a great price, especially if you want to bring guests! For 2 single floats I paid only 75$. They make you change shoes upon arrival and the whole facility is immensely clean. Staff is so professional and welcoming and share their tips and tricks for floating. I could go on and on about this facility, I'll say if you are hesitant about floating don't be and book an appointment with this place! This was my 6th float, first in this facility, but my boyfriend floated for the first time and he absolutely loved it. He was nervous and didn't know what to expect but the staff were great in explaining, and they have clear signs posted in the rooms with instructions and tips. I was excited about this spa wanted so much to leave a positive review and support a new local business, but what a sh*tshow this place is. I waited 2+ weeks after my last appointment for them to respond to my email / phone messages with a modicum of customer care, but nada, so here's my honest review. If you don't have unlimited disposable income and you like to spend some of yours on self-care services, proceed with caution to Drip. Badly managed, abysmal communication, and beyond the float tanks (which would be great if the place was managed better), this place is a rip-off. On the day of my first appointment, they called to ask me to come in earlier. My appointment was for 6:30pm. I asked how much earlier. "I don't know, noon?" Looking forward to the float, I rearranged my schedule and came at 1:30. At the front desk I was handed my slippers...two left feet. I let the front desk know and they handed me--you got it-two right-foot slippers. :/ The explanation of the float tanks was fast and extensive, and honestly a bit confusing (wait, do I NEED the ear plugs? Maybe, if I don't want dried salt in my ears? Seems like a hard yes?). Little clarity here. The float was nice, and after that I tried brain-tap therapy in the halotherapy room, which is supposed to help with things like respiration and eczema. The room is a dud....reading material but not enough light to read. So much more they could do with this space (lighting, sound) that would make for an amazing experience but it's just an uncomfortable salt sandbox for adults. Brain-tap: the biggest joke of all. The staff could not make the headset work. When she finally handed it to me, the sound was cutting in and out, the volume too low to hear. The "light therapy" emitted by the front of the headset was also not working consistently. I went to the desk to let her know, and had to wait for almost 10 minutes in reception for her to return to help. This is basically just mediation tape played from a Kindle. Despite the rocky first visit, I made an appointment for myself and a friend for his birthday (4D massage, brain tap, halo, float) to give the place another try. Ugh. When we arrived, we were told the lockers were broken. I guess they lost their master key? On my first trip, I was told that I should not bring my phone and personal belongings into the float room, as they could be damaged by the salt, but the front desk said NOTHING about this this time around. So I carried all my stuff from room to room (no other option), and eventually ended up with some of my clothing and my wallet caked in salt. 4D massage: disappointing. The chairs are in the tiny front lobby, directly by the reception desk. A curtain is closed around you; you feel like you're in an ER, claustrophobic, with a glaring overhead light above you, while you listen to other people check in. Not relaxing. The worst was the brain-tap. I told her we wanted to try just sound therapy...music or white noise, with the headset lights. She shames us ("I don't get what's relaxing about THAT") and then struggles for more than 10 minutes to get the musical option to "download" to no avail. Zero question about whether the volume is ok for us, while we sit there and listen to some dude talk about a car accident, and the lights on one of the two headsets broken. Within five minutes, we returned them. The owner offered a free float as a courtesy, but we were still charged $66 for NOTHING. This place could do so much with small gestures to make customers feel like they're getting their money's worth. Free tea or water, bathrobes would make a huge difference. The "beauty bar" they brag about is a joke-just a unisex room with mirrors, random products, and a couple of hairdryers. Take better care of your customers guys. I overlooked a lot of small issues and tried to support a local business but you're sh*tty communicators who lack both the customer care and the attention to detail that could make this place work. I canceled my membership, and wasted a lot of money on credits I'll now never use. read more
