Stopped in by chance when I was in the area visiting a client. I recently removed all of my gels, and my nails have been very weak, and have been breaking and tearing. I've been getting regular manicures in town where I live, but they would always wind up chipping and did a horrible job on my cuticles. Today I was sent an angel by the name of Eugene. She took her time and perfectly manicured my very weak nails, to make it look almost like I had gel on them! Had a really lovely time. I'm very low maintenance when it comes to pampering myself. I don't know how to rest, relax, or have nice things. Trying to change that and had a nice day for myself today. I had my first ever facial. I also received a massage, a wax, and a spa manicure. I work outdoors in the cold and my skin was really dry because of the wind chill. I really noticed a difference after the facial and spa manicure ! The space was super clean (they were always cleaning), the music was calming, the space was quiet, and I appreciated the care and attention that I received. I appreciated they were also mindful of those who are claustrophobic or have asthma. Also the interior design was super lovely. Also, everything was so reasonably priced. Ashley told me that the pedicure was $41. She repeated it several times. What she neglected to say is that that was in addition to the 90-something they we're already charging me for the pedicure. She later said that she told me but she told me a half truth. She was lying through omission. I chose not to fight it but will never go back. Also, the post mani/pedi massage was $19 for 20 min. I agreed to an additional 10 minutes and they charged me another $19 for the 10 minutes. Make sure you ask for EVERY price of every service or you will be screwed. read more

I never leave reviews for places but I just have to warn this place is astronomically overpriced. They charged me $93 for a basic gel pedicure and claimed they asked me about a special gel polish that's $10 more which I was not aware of. Regardless, anything over $70 for a gel pedicure is robbery. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Every instrument was sanitized, face mask and sneeze guards were worn, and the owner even helped with my nail polish options. On top of all this, actual flip flops were available for purchase! The prices are insane, hard not to leave feeling like you got robbed. I don't think their prices matches their skill/service. My friend and I came to this salon, both for mani-pedis. Seeing they have almost every other service it was surprising to find out they didn't have acrylic service. At the end of the day that is their choice, however, the staff were very rude. The lady who did my pedicure was angry that I had an acrylic toenail (which my doctor had approved after a hiking incident). At first, I felt terrible but she didn't seem to know how to handle it even after I told her to not do anything to it if they haven't dealt with this type of situation before but she insisted it's okay. She tried to file it down to make the transition smoother and cut my cuticle multiple times while almost breaking off the acrylic. Not to mention she only did one coating of nail polish and then started falling asleep in between my massage. The manicure and extensions were not so bad but they charge extra just to apply the nail polish, at that point I wanted to just go home and apply it myself. The experience was not so wonderful for my friend either because her nail technician almost ripped off half her pinky nail. A simple shade almond extension should not be costing us more than $50 let alone hundreds, especially with such poor treatment. We spent 4 hours in there for such slow and poor service and outrageous prices not to mention the 20% required tip on top of the total. I will surely never be going here again and would never recommend this place to anyone. I've almost never had such terrible service to feel such a strong need to write Yelp Review. Please save your money and go to a salon that actually has good service. read more

Amazing. I got Gel extensions and was a little pricey but was SO worth it. May took her time and it's honestly the first time since living here for 2 years that someone actually took their time doing my nails. And doing the Gel extensions is so worth it because then you can just get a fill. I usually get gel on top, but May did such a good job I literally got regular polish on top. With colder months ahead and extended WFH, all my nails needed some love. I remembered seeing a new spa that opened near me and I had to give it a try. What a gem! For those of you near Union Sq, Spa de Rehoboth is a must! This spa first drew me in with its modern chic décor. With tall ceilings and modern décor, I was pretty impressed. Upon entering, they had me sanitize my hands first, then had my temperature checked and COVID questionnaire filled out. and THEN, they asked me to wash my hands again with soap and water in their bathroom. I appreciated this as it gave me comfort that this spa means business when comes to keeping everyone safe! Got my colors picked and my technician, Yani took me to my pedicure chair. I was worried that I was going to be claustrophobic with all the barriers between the chairs, but high ceilings and the bright walls took care of that. Now my pedicure. Yani was a magician! My disgustingly callused soles were liberated, and my soft skin was finally returned! And that massage to finish the pedicure was fantastic! I almost passed out while humming along to the jazzy music in the background! Manicure, I was even more impressed. They started me off with these warm plastic gloves with lotion in it. Yani got my cuticles cleaned up and looking fabulous with awesome efficiency. And then I realized something that I have not seen before in other spas. Both pedicure chairs and the manicure stations had vents installed on them! I remember reading the news about this, but I didn't even realize it was there until I overheard a girl next to me talking about it. I thought that was pretty cool. I highly recommend Spa de Rehoboth for their manicure and pedicures. I walked out of there feeling new and refreshed, to tackle another day of WFH. From their attention to detail, heavy focus on sanitization and a beautiful new spa, it was a good present to myself just before the holidays. Great mani and pedi. But the pricing is off the charts. A spa pedi starts at $80. Take a diff color and here's an extra $5 or an extra $10. Loved the covid check in and being asked to wash hands. I walked in off the street and got a good eyebrow wax and the asked how much a pedicure. I was told $32. That's why I decided to have one. The bill came with an apology, the pedicure was $49. When I later checked, he website did say $49 but I should have been informed properly, especially from someone who had worked there a long time. Most of the nail polishes cost extra, the ones that don't are way at the top of the rack where it's difficult to see and don't have much variety in color. Last weekend I treated myself to their "Stress Buster" package, and by the time I left, I had almost forgotten about the dumpster fire that was 2020. Starting with safety - At check-in, in addition to the usual skin survey (what are your primary concerns? are you using retinol products? etc.) there was a short questionnaire about travel, covid risk factors, etc. There was ample hand-sanitizer available, all guests were asked to wash their hands upon entry and after hand-sanitizing, guests and staff all (of course) wore masks, and there were plexi dividers between stations. I felt very safe and well cared for. Now for the services... Massage - I opted for the Deep Tissue Massage, and my masseur worked diligently through knots I didn't even know I had. So much tension melted away that I felt like I had lost weight! Facial - the package came with the "Purifying European" facial but my facialist suggested I go with the "Detoxifying Acneic" facial. (Stress breakouts, anyone?). It was a little bit more expensive, but worth every penny - days later and my skin just keeps getting brighter! Some spas can feel very pushy - like they are always trying to up-sell you, but I never felt pressured here. Nails - The package includes a mani/pedi, and I upgraded to a gel manicure. It's been almost a week, and my nails still look perfect. I am already dreaming about my next visit. The space is clean, but the service was about average except for the manicure, which left me cut and bleeding from two fingers after really aggressive cuticle pushing and cutting. Loved my pedicure here today! The interior of this place sold me. So many nail salons in NYC show the wear and tear from years. This place was gorgeous felt brand new and I was blown away by how clean it was; for covid and for general salon cleanliness. I was in town for a work trip and called Sunday to see if they had any openings for a last minute facial. I was able to come in 30 minutes later. They were very polite and the place was clean. The woman who did the facial was kind and examined my skin to make recommendations before starting. I was going to get the least expensive facial that was less amount of time as the other options. I told her that I didn't have time as I needed to catch a flight but she insisted on upgrading to a more expensive facial that required more time. She compromised with me on a facial in between my choice and what she wanted to do. Regardless, the experience was great. She gave me sample size product to take home. read more

I have visited this spa 3 times and each time I left feeling aggravated. I always believe that you should give an establishment multiple chances. Pros: Cleanliness during covid this is an essential. Estheticians amazing. Cons: pressured to be up sold. I understand that sales are down. To be treated differently after you politely refuse (3 times might I add) an additional service because I am on a budget like everyone else at this point. This was my 1st visit in September. I came back 2x this month for 3 different services the estheticians were amazing! The man at the front apparently doesn't know how to use a credit card machine and shamed me for using a Visa gift card because it didn't have a chip. I had to teach him how to use the machine. This gets 5 stars hands down, from the celebrity sighting of the Food Networks Anne Burrell, the creeping plants throughout the pedicure area and other plants throughout the salon and low classical music gives the salon a tranquil feeling. It was very clean but to top it all off this place gave me two messages which is not typical for me at nail salon's! I frequently passed by here and finally decided to go in. Lulu and Nima were great. Both my mom and I got the basic manicure and pedicure.
