Quick, friendly service. I had the Birria Tacos and they were delicious. A great addition to Springfield's downtown.

First visit, and we were seated right away. The name of this restaurant lead me to think the menu…read morewas going to primary taco based but it actually a full menu of typical Mexican dishes. I ordered a chicken chimichanga and my wife ordered a chicken quesadilla. I didn't read the details on the menu but the chimichanga is not a typical filling and when I checked the menu again it says deep fried or baked burrito do it had rice and beans in the filling and was very large. Despite the unexpected filling it was still good but I couldn't eat all of it. My wife's quesadilla was exactly what she expected and she said it was good. I will definitely return and explore more of the menu.

We got some chips and salsa as we waited. I'm pretty sure that the chips were house made since they were different from other kinds of tortilla chips I had. The salsa was good, but I definitely would've loved a little more spice to it. We got the Enchiladas Suizas and a Fajita Burrito. The burrito was pretty good, but if I were to go again I'd probably choose something different from the Enchiladas. Just was not for me. I did like how spicy they were though! One thing that also stood out was that much of the time when I go to Mexican restaurants, the portions are pretty big for the prices. The portions were definitely not tiny, but smaller than I would maybe expect for a Mexican restaurant for the price that we paid. I'm not sure if we would choose to go back in the future since it was a stop along the way for a trip for us, but it was not a bad stop. They do have a large parking lot out front which makes parking super easy and that is always a huge plus!

Authentic Mexican Flavors with a Beautiful Presentation!…read more This place serves some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while! I ordered the green enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious--perfectly rolled tortillas filled with flavorful meat, smothered in a rich green sauce, and drizzled with crema and queso fresco. The refried beans were smooth and creamy, and the rice was fluffy with a great seasoning. The burrito was a showstopper! Stuffed with tender steak and grilled veggies, then topped with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce and fresh pico de gallo. The drizzle of crema and queso fresco gave it an extra layer of indulgence. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was very generous! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're craving authentic Mexican food with bold flavors and beautiful plating, this spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back! Would highly recommend!

I thought the chicken was stringy and tough but I agreed with her about the beef and the tortillas themselves were great. Neither of us liked the chips and salsa...the chips were dry and the "salsa" tasted like tomato sauce that had a little hot sauce added to it. The atmosphere was tired and, on a day when it was 100-plus outside either the air conditioning couldn't keep up or, worse, hadn't been turned on at all.
