I had my appointment canceled on the day of the appointment because I'm not from El Paso, I had al paid part of the study two days before I was scheduled, I had my appointment confirmed the day before the study, I'm out of pocket and need the money to get my study done elsewhere, they won't refund me money till 6 weeks later, and I had to stop my medication in order to be teste, now I can't resume my medication till I get my study done, I have to say their lack of professionalism of the place is astounding, they could habe rejected me from the start when I went to schedule the appointmen. Not the day of the appointment when I had already paid part of the test. read more

Wait time is ridiculous. My appointment was 11:30 AM. I showed up at 11:10. Fill out some paperwork. It's 2:00 PM and still haven't been seen yet! In just 30 minutes it will be over 3 hours. And they don't even tell you that there is a long wait time, they just let you sit and not say a word to you. Bunch of B.S!!! read more

Review relates to the Osborne location. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my MRI appointment on 9/19/2024 and was seen within a minute of arrival. I filled in 2 forms, signed a third and was told to have a seat and I would be called shortly. So far, so good. In what universe is a 90 minute wait past my appointment time shortly? The waiting area was not crowded and I did not notice many people leaving the examination area. I don't know who is responsible for keeping patients informed when there is a significant delay; but a 90 minute wait seems excessive with no communication. The actual MRI went well, but overall I am terribly disappointed in the quality of care I received here. Sadly; I am scheduled for another MRI on a different area of my body at this location in early October. I am not looking forward to it and it may well be the last time I use southwest Xray for any imaging. read more

I am very angry with this company, and I will never use their services again. I had an appointment for 1:00 PM, and it took them one hour and forty minutes to call me in for an EKG. A test that takes less than five minutes. Meanwhile I watched at least eight people who arrived after I got there that were called in. I do not recommend this location because I think they're incompetent. If all you need is an EKG, find someone that doesn't make you wait nearly two hours beyond your scheduled appointment. read more

NP ordered mammogram and breast ultrasound. Receptionist informed me they would not be performing breast ultrasound until they received mammo results. It is up to my doctor to decide what tests are to be performed, not SW xray. My daughter's mammo came out negative. Her breast ultrasound showed cancer. read more

There are several reasons why I gave this facility a one star rating: 1) They always overcharge, and they don't refund you at this location. You have to call to discuss the statement of benefits with them. And sometimes, you spend days calling because no one answers the phone, and no one returns your calls. Up to this day, I haven't been refunded for two overcharges. 2) I received a bill for a service that they overcharged, stating that a balance was due. 3) If you tell them you want them to send you a bill with the balance due, they refuse. They say they have to collect the full amount due at the time of service. I wonder who is pocketing the extra money that the patients are paying. 4) Even when I make an appointment ahead of time, I still have to wait two+ hours. It's ridiculous. We showed up first thing in the morning. As I went in, they greeted me with a smile right away. They opened even before actual open time to receive patients. Facility was clean and had a full staff on a Saturday instead of only two or three people taking forever. This is so much appreciated. Great job guys keep up the great work! read more

I went to the Joe Battle facility, was greeted as I walked in the door (BIG PLUS), girl on left who processed me was friendly, minimal paperwork to fill out, waited about 10 minutes to go in-Wow that's fast, then female technician was friendly, attentive, and quick with procedure but not rushed. Will return to SW X-Ray if need exam. read more

Worst service ever, they have made me reschedule my appointment 2 times once because they didn't have my authorization and the tech was out of town and was going to be out longer. Then it took them over 3 weeks to get me scheduled only to call me the night before and cancel again because their 1 tech in all their locations had another emergency and will be out untill next month . I guess it's okay I mean who cares if I go into some sort of cardiac emergency cause I can't get my test done and start treatment for any possible heart condition I may have. read more

I've been on the phone over 20 minutes just to speak to someone about making an appointment, and funny how the line is "disconnected " right when they finally answer. The scheduling personnel are rude and unhelpful. When I finally scheduled the diagnostic exam, their website is continually down and you can't complete the pre- registration. They call to threaten a cancellation and when you call back they still can't get their stuff together. My appointment was rescheduled thanks to people constantly dropping the ball on communication. They've wasted my time, and I'm sure the whole diagnostic process is going to be even worse. read more

I've been coming here for years and have alway gotten good services until today. It has been horrendous. The front office staff has been incredibly slow. There was a crowded line with no distancing. I arrived at 9 and didn't even get to talk to anyone till 9:45 despite my appointment being ad 9:30. It's now 11:25 and I'm still sitting here. read more

The office staff is incompetent and uncaring . I had pre certified which should have made the process easier. But it added an over an hour to my wait. It would have been longer but I called my insurance company directly to get things moving. I called the chief operating officer several times at around 4:40 .Veronica Escarzaga never picked. I've always had great experiences in this facility. The staff is friendly, patient, and professional. My only complaint is that they tend to overcharge and do not make an effort to refund the overcharge amount, unless you call and discuss the statement of benefits with them. They need to be more responsible in this regard and try to improve the process. read more

Came in at 1 to fill out paperwork for 130 appointment. It is 3 and I am still waiting despite telling staff member I had surgery 10 days ago and I am diabetic. I was told to fast. I have the shakes and will leave without being seen. This is pathetic service and I will not come here again read more

It took the woman on the phone 30 minutes to tell me what type of radiologists they have on staff. My doctor wanted me to get an MRI of the brain, and after some googling, I realized that a specialist (neuroradiologist) should be reading my exam. I called to see if they had any on staff, and the woman had no clue about the difference in the types of radiologists, let alone what kind they employed. Also they made me wait 30 minutes while they checked with their medical records staff to see which radiologists they have. Shouldn't the front desk know which doctors they employee at their clinic? Not the kind of service you'd expect. Also since they don't have the right kind of radiologists, I won't be scheduling an appointment with them. read more

Can you leave 1/2 a star? This is a medical service and the efficiency and service provided is horrendous. Despite calling them in advance to give insurance and having been here before, they still take an hour to try and authorize benefits and won't see me until that is done. Why didn't they do it before? Of course turns out they were calling wrong number and that's why they couldn't find my insurance benefits. Finally, they did after I checked multiple times what they were doing. I even offered to pay in advance while they figure things out but they have a policy that if you pay, they won't reimburse you any overpayment later. Nothing makes sense. Patients and customers deserve better. I saw elderly people treated with same incompetence and turned away because it was past 4:30 and nothing else could be done that day. Demand better, go somewhere else and maybe then they will try and improve. read more

Absolutely do not recommend this company! Office staff are rude and act as though patients walking in are nothing more than a bother. Phone calls I've made asking for info are interrupted with a rude "one sec" before being transferred or placed on hold. Ive had 4 various appts with two different offices in El Paso from May-June. Each experience was awful. Once you get past the rude and tacky office staff, the technicians performing various exams were more polite, but even when undressing from waist up, the woman performing first mammogram wouldn't leave room so I could disrobe (just a common courtesy). The follow up visit, waiting for an ultrasound, the tech was standing right next to me in the hall complaining about how much paperwork she already had and refused to perform another ultrasound until she had some time to finish her paperwork on previous patients. I felt very uncomfortable as I was her next patient. 3/4 visits made were at the Joe Battle and Pebble Hills location, and those 3 visits there were completely unacceptable. The 4th visit was on Vista Del Sol and Yarbrough, again such horrible manners and condescending behavior from the office staff, although the tech I had there was a most polite and kind woman. I've never posted a negative review online anywhere, but the service provided by these people is simply unacceptable! Horrible customer service! I will not ever use them again! read more
