I wasn't told how long it would take. I was in the machine for over an hour. I was given some earplugs cause she said it might be loud. Loud? Felt like my ears were a helipad and a hero was in my ear half the time. Putting aside the panic and pain in my lower back for being immobilized for over an hour, the noise made me feel like I was gonna go crazy. It would've been much appreciated to be explained what was happening or to happen prior to. I've always gone to desert Imaging and their process is much better. I won't be returning here. Unless you are looking for a madhouse experience, avoid having an mri here. I couldn't put my clothes fast enough.

I then realize that there was also people ahead of me that had an earlier appointment that had been waiting for nearly an hour already before I arrived and the person that does the echocardiogram had never arrived. We literally sat waiting until about 6:30 PM when finally the girl that does the echocardiogram finally arrived to make it worse me and another person were there for echocardiogram because of chemotherapy so we had to have them done a women walks in at 6:20 and checks her son in they give her the same story that the person that has the echocardiograms had not arrived yet and that it may be a little while the person tells them that her son is hyper. I then hear the lady at the counter whisper she will put him in front of everyone else that had already been waiting over two hours and that's exactly what they did once the girl finally arrived they let the women with the so called hyper son go first they had only been there 20 minutes in front of ppl that had been there for hours. I also heard the staff talking and apparently the girl that does the echocardiogram Does it quite often shows up late very often. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. People are here because they need things to have to wait two and three hours because someone doesn't come to work on time is insane money and co-pays were taken immediately and then we had to sit and wait for hours to be seen. This place I would absolutely NOT suggest it to anyone ever. Find someone new to do the echocardiograms please

I had my appointment canceled on the day of the appointment because I'm not from El Paso, I had al…read morepaid part of the study two days before I was scheduled, I had my appointment confirmed the day before the study, I'm out of pocket and need the money to get my study done elsewhere, they won't refund me money till 6 weeks later, and I had to stop my medication in order to be teste, now I can't resume my medication till I get my study done, I have to say their lack of professionalism of the place is astounding, they could habe rejected me from the start when I went to schedule the appointmen. Not the day of the appointment when I had already paid part of the test.

Julio was extremely professional, kind, courteous, and extremely knowledgable. Most places only do the scan and give you the results, however, Julio sat down with me afterwards and explained them in great detail. This alone was worth the cost of the entire service. Not only did I learn about my individual results and needs, but I also gained a much better understanding of overall body composition and the suggested guidelines for body fat and bone density. So this location has little to no front parking and doesn't appear to be the only business in…read morehere.. There is a parking garage for mostly compacts all the way in back under the building but a phone call to see if it was ok to park there because there are tons of no parking signs around resulted in the operator not knowing because all calls are sent to a phone bank, not the location your calling. and there is an elevator in there If you look for it to get back up inside the building but if you don't know that because you've never been there before and depending on where you park in there you'd never know it. No signs or arrows or anything telling you there is one. Once you get inside you're greeted by an old rundown office in desperate need of TLC. ITS FALLING APART. No signs that say " excuse our mess" or " remodeling" so It just appears the place has been let go as far as maintenance is concerned. People were nice enough, I've had this same ultrasound 3 times before and this was the fastest one as far as time spent on the table, and in the facility, so the tech was very efficient, but the facilities need help and I'm sure my ultrasound in which I was nude from the waist down with a huge ceiling tile above me missing, AC ducting exposed, pieces of white flecks (DUST?) Floating down out of it from time to time, definitely is NOT SANITARY. This needs to be addressed sooner than later.

They even gave me excellent directions to get to their office. They were also great in person. I didn't get anyone's name but all of the staff members I dealt with were female. The lady in the front was professional and nice. She answered all of my questions without hesitation. One of the techs had to give me an injection for the procedure I was doing. She was super gentle with the needle. It was completely painless! I didn't even feel a slight pinch when she injected me. I don't think I've ever dealt with someone who was that gentle with a needle! She was soft spoken and kind. I immediately felt at ease with her. She even asked me if I wanted to watch a movie on Netflix. Of course! Unfortunately there was some technical issues so that was a no go. No biggie! The tech was calm and gave great instructions when it was time for the procedure. She also had great bedside manners. I've also been to the Desert Imaging location on Lee Trevino. My experience there was good but I would pick this location if I had a choice. There's two (four total, I think?) other Desert Imaging locations in El Paso. I haven't been to those. Highly recommend this specific Desert Imaging location. I regret not asking for the names of the staff here!

Today is 12/27/2025. Was calling to schedule am a memogram after first hearing everything on veins…read morethan it gave me an option on scheduling. I almost hung up because I thought I was calling a place to just scheduleon veins . TO much info on veins. It's confusing not sure if we the patients are calling the right number. A suggestion just have a single phone number for scheduling. If you want to advertise that you do veins do that separately. I was on the call waiting to schedule an appointment all I heard was veins and than the rest of services you offer. But scheduling never came on. Until it switch me just to tell me that they had no one to speak with me on scheduling a memogram in English. Didnt give me the option in either English or Spanish. Ugh will just go somewhere else.
