Wonderful doctors - 5 star!! The 1 star is for Brenda in the front office. She is unprofessional, unstable, and crude. I've noticed this in the past and ignored her. Today was particularly egregious with yelling and threatening about mask wearing when I inquired about the current policy and when I did not instantly comply with her exaggerated command, she quickly became very comfortable speaking disrespectfully, name calling and insulting as if she regressed into some childlike temper tantrum. Clearly, she lacks basic office professionalism and emotional intelligence. read more

I want to start off saying that I myself went here from the time that I was one until I was 20 I have had some good and bad experiences but overall 100% good. Dr Elahi is the best pediatrician that I have ever had and now my kids have him. He is always so attentive to their needs he make sure that they feel comfortable even at such a tiny age. If anyone is looking for a good pediatrician I would recommend him we now live in Puyallup and I refuse to change our pediatrician to anyone besides him. Dr. dong is also an amazing physician he was at the hospital when I had my children to examine them. He is also very caring about his patience and listens to everything that you say and wants to help work together to have a healthy happy baby. When it comes to Dr. Hineline, i've never had to go to experience. The only times I ever brought my children into see her was when it was a last-minute appointment for something like a rash or a high fever or vomiting. She doesn't hardly ever look you in the eye when you're talking or act like she cares about anything you're saying. One time I brought my child in there throwing up temperature of 104 and not eating well and all she did was say well go home and wait it out. So instead I had to take my daughter to Seattle children's where they monitored her for the night and found out she had pneumonia. Overall if you're looking for a good pediatrician I would highly recommend Dr. dong or Dr Elahi. read more

I love Dr. Dong!!!! He cares for my twins and it is a pleasure anytime we are in office. The staff has been nothing but great! Even my Dr takes her kiddos to Dr. Dong ( how I found out about him) and she says he is always right even when she thinks he is not... He ends up be right! Been going here for 16 yrs and I have no complains. The pediatrician are great with the kids and the staff is very friendly. The wait can be a little long when you call in for same day appointments and the call backs from nurses are usually at the end of the day. But if you can't wait they do have a 24 hr nurse line avalible. read more

The front desk staff is HORRIBLE. They are rude short with patients and do not provide guidance of care if it's outside what they can do. This staff lies and mistreats patients they are disrespectful. They pick and chose who gets good care. The staff doesn't care about the families only the insurance payment they get so my 3 children deserve better care. Who denies patients copies of their records? Yes they did. They told me that they wouldn't even be available to another provider for 7 days. Is that legal? I reported them to the bbb and the health department. I truly think that they discriminate and are prejudice. read more

We were referred here by our neighbors. All of the front staff and Dr.'s we have interacted with have been friendly and helpful. Dr. Elahi has been wonderful to work with. A family member recommended this office and we're so glad she did. Dr. Elahi is a wonderful pediatrician and we feel very fortunate to take our baby boy to him. When we met with him, he was 100% focused on our baby. We brought in a long list of concerns and he addressed each one thoroughly and efficiently. We did not feel rushed even though I'm sure the doctor was on a tight schedule. We left feeling so much more at peace than when we had walked in for our appointment. One of the nurses here also works at Highline in their childbirth center. She worked with us during our stay when we gave birth to our baby. It was so nice to get to see a familiar face in a new doctors office. Ellie is her name, and she is phenomenal at what she does. She remembered my wife's blood type and even the doctor didn't question her response because he trusts her completely. Before we left, Ellie brought my wife some lactation support tea bags to help my wife with breastfeeding. Such a kind gesture! The reason I can't give this office a 5-star rating is because our nurse (NOT Ellie) that checked us in gave us conflicting information that is pretty rudimentary and should be common knowledge for nurses in a pediatric office. It sent my wife into a frenzy before the doctor came in to see us. The last thing a brand new mom needs to hear is that her baby should be gaining weight when he is losing weight. Not so when he is only a few days old! Dr. Elahi is a solid 5/5, as is the majority of the staff at SW Ped. I highly recommend him. read more

Absolutely, the worst front office staff. I called the office three seperate times over three days and was told I would get a call back but never did. I was calling to get a copy of my records. copy my records. The woman I spoke the the third time told me she looked but couldn't find couldn't find my records and didnt believe i was a patient there. I had explained the first time I had called that I was a patient there for 15 years and the that the first person I had spoken said they found me in there system but just needed to pull the records and would call back. I will be reporting the doctors office to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. Management of records and patient record access is a right protected by HIPAA. read more

This was my first time bringing my baby girl into this facility because i was looking for a pediatrician that was in network with my insurance.i called and was able to get in that same day with Theresa Hineline, MD . I took my baby in for a rash and a cold, this was the worst experience I've ever had specially dealing with my baby . when Theresa first walked she didn't even introduce herself and just asked what has wrong with her ,so i proceeded to explain not really engaged with me she just proceeded to mentioned how active my baby was. she wouldn't even touche her to ex-amen her until i pointed her rash out so she could see , she then asked if ( HE ) was almost 6 month??? did i mention my baby GIRL was Wearing HOT PINK socks and all her pink clothing and blanket were next to her!!! and she is only 4 MONTHS! like really lady!! if you didn't take the time to look at her chart your not going to take any time and acknowledge your patient? how incompetent.she didn't ask any questions about my baby is she breathing well eating ect .... nop not one she basically told me you should only bring your baby when they have a fever ,its hard for them to breath and they are not eating...... My Husband and i were just so confused and mad because she basically didn't resolve or assure us in and way shape or form about my baby health and she just wasted our time .. read more

My son has been seen by md few months ago and I gave the dr office our new address before that, they have never updated it and send the bill to my old one. When I called because I have not received the bill, someone named Amy said they sent us twice, but the copay she told me is incorrect. I've been follow up with insurance so many times on this issue and it's been months but the copay is not changed on the doctor office's side. It's might take sometimes she said "i dont know what to tell you". Above all, she didn't even want to help and sounded so rude and rushing on the phone. She wanted me to call insurance myself, I called and my ins representative called them and being told that this doctor office is behind in posting the correct claim. Both our children see Dr.Dong and we are very pleased with the care they receive. My daughter has also seen Dr.Elahi and Dr.Hineline and they've been great also. They've been kind and attentive to our children's needs. We always learn something new when we leave because they are always sharing their knowledge and good to know info that will help us with the kids. We had an excellent experience with Dr Dong and Nurse Elsa today. Dr Dong is very thorough, informative, and caring. His professional yet relatable demeanor makes him easy to trust, and he quickly made us feel at ease about a procedure we were quite nervous about. I would absolutely recommend Dr Dong and his team. The worst! Have had a bad experience with almost every visit. Always feel rushed with Dr. Hineline. Has misdiagnosed my daughter on several occasions, not to mention that they will bill you for a full office visit for a phone call with nurse, even if that call was to get some advice and the call lasts 2 minutes (literally). Horrible experience. My newborn was born at highline hospital and we were assigned a new pediatrician because we did not look for one ourselves. Great experience at hospital with Dr. Dong and first visit at his office. After our first visit I searched out a different pediatrician to care for my son. Dr. Dong reported us to CPS because of one missed appointment. I spoke with Dr Dong and asked why he didn't leave voicemail or email me about his policy and he said his office's procedure is NOT to leave voicemails about followup appointments and then to report to CPS. Now I have to explain to CPS and jump through hoops all because I changed my pediatrician after the first visit. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I do not recommend him until he changes his policy. 3 stars for the front desk team, EVERY TIME I call to make an appointment the woman on the other line answers and asks questions in a condescending manner . If my little one is sick and I want to get her checked out, it's like the biggest hassle to try to get her in. Thankfully, my daughter doesn't get sick easily so I don't have to deal with any rudeness on the phone. But the 5 stars goes out to Dr.Elahi. He is extremely professional and kind, and he listens to all the crazy parent questions i have lol. We have been seeing him since I was able to bring my daughter home after giving birth. At first I was not impressed. I arrived at 9:50 for a 10 o'clock appointment and filled out the paper work for new patients. I turned in said paper work by 10 am and sat, and sat and sat. Finally at 10:25 I asked the front desk woman what was going on. She got a snatchy tone and said the nurse was preparing our chart now...five minutes later the nurse came out. I had my two daughters in a double appointment for well child check ups with a few shots. The usual weigh in, measure, blood pressure and pokes. The nurse was with us from 10:30-10:45. The doctor finally arrived at 10:55. She was the only reason I will be coming back. Dr Hineline was personable and great with my girls. I know doctor appointments can run long, and I experience this often as an adult but never with past pediatrician appts. We came in at 9:50 and left at 11:38. read more

I have been bringing my 4 children here for almost 11 years. I will never bring my children anywhere else!!! I LOVE Dr. Hineline. She is extremely knowledgeable, and always has time in her busy schedule for them, or MY questions no matter what the situation has been. I have also seen Dr. Dong, and Dr. Elahi. My son sees Dr Elahi. He is great. He spends time with us, answers questions, explains things thoroughly, and apologizes if running late. I have also seen Dr Hineline when my son was sick and she was also kind, thorough and explained things nicely. The front office staff has always been nice but never have they let us know if a doctor is running behind. Wait times can sometimes be long and sometimes they've been right on time, so it would be nice to know if I will have to sit in the waiting room for longer than expected. The nurses have always been nice and good with my son, but never introduce themselves or say anything about the wait. I'm happy with the clinic. If they would simply say "Hi, I'm the nurse, sorry about the wait" I would give them 5 stars. read more

Although all the doctors here are awesome. I just have one frustrating situation with the front desk lady..I called to make an appointment for my daughter who has a temp and throwing up. GOT TO MY APPOINTMENT ON TIME!!! 3:15pm ...She's tells me you missed your appointment it was 2:45pm???? Umm no 3:15pm doesn't sound anything like 2:45pm ...I wished I recorded the message just to play it back to her!!! Tells me to reschedule two weeks from now because the doctors going on vacation.... ummm no she's sick now!! She says she thought it was a check up... no where in the conversation did I mention a check up!!! Temp of 101 and throwing up sounds nothing like check up!! I can't stand when people know they are wrong but can't admitt it!! My kids have been coming here since they came into this world now 8 & 9 years I get this...and to talk to me with an attitude too...I don't deserve that nor will I let someone disrespect me like that... this is our last time in this office!!! read more

Dr. Elahi is the best Pediatrician ever! My son has been seeing him since he was born. He is compassionate, caring and patient. We have also seen some of the other doctors at this clinic and they are all amazing! The receptionist is so warm and welcoming. The billing department is also very understanding and will work with you if you have an insurance issue like i did last year. We never have to wait long to see the doctor either. Nurses are so great and patient. My son hates shots as all kids do and they are so gentle with him. I will never take my son to another pediatrician. read more

I am fostering a 6 month baby with the state and found dr. Hineline in my neighborhood. We had our 4 month check up with shots and just had our 6 month check up. Baby has been sick this week. I took him to e.r. At highline on Easter with eye infection and bad cough. When they released us they told me to make a follow up appointment with dr. Hineline. I called the next day and made appt for the following Friday. Baby's daycare called me on Friday and told me he had a temperature of 101 so I picked him up early and waited for our 4pm appt. dr. Hineline REFUSED to see us due to some change in their or my insurance??!!! I cannot believe they turned down a sick baby. I don't think it was ethically or morally the right thing to do and they should be ASHAMED of themselves and their poor business practices! They told me I could no longer come to their office and I needed to find a new pediatrician. They also told me to go the e.r. And I told them I already had. I am furious and I hope this review will shed some light on their serious lack of human compassion in the health care industry!! read more
