Extremely disappointing experience with Swedish Hospital pediatrics. I was billed twice for the same visit, which was a routine infant wellness appointment. One charge was around $320 for the wellness visit and another around $340 labeled as an outpatient visit for the exact same appointment. Previously, I was also charged separately for a 20 minute visit, which is not a short visit, and another longer visit. It felt like I was being billed by the minute without any clear explanation upfront. The breaking point was during a wellness visit when the doctor asked about a prior sinus issue and briefly checked it. That alone triggered a second charge. I was never informed that answering a question during the same appointment would result in additional billing. After multiple calls, they refused to correct it. This feels misleading and unacceptable. Parents should not be penalized for basic care during a scheduled visit. I have since switched providers to a practice that actually prioritizes patients over billing tactics. Take your loved ones somewhere else where they care about providing care more than ripping you off. read more

While we loved Dr. Obih, we only had a couple of appointments here before our old doctor opened up his own practice, so we switched back to him. We had positive experiences besides one appointment having a 30 minute delay. read more

They are not attentive to the children they care for. I was told that my child could not be seen because the doctor needed a vacation. The lack of sensitivity and overall care is lacking do not take your child here if you can help it. Terrible care. read more

We visited Dr. Develle since she was one of the local pediatricians available on our insurance. We weren't expecting too much with fairly basic insurance, but WOW. Dr. Develle, the team and the facility here is 5*+. Absolutely outstanding. Dr. Develle really took the time to connect with us, hear our concerns for our newborn, talk us through everything and offered us as much advice as we wanted. I would highly recommend the Swedish Pediatrics location in Redmond and particularly Dr. Develle. You won't regret it! Some people say she runs on the late side, primarily because she takes so much time with each of her patients. So if punctuality and efficiency is your number one goal, then maybe look elsewhere, but if you're happy to wait a little longer and be seen to a little longer, you'll be delighted you chose this place, we are. read more

I have my younguns over here with Dr Conley and I couldn't be happier. Their scheduling is flexible and always running on time which is huge for me. I make it a point to be on time for my appointments so I feel it isn't only right they keep things moving along. Waiting with a sick kid is very low on my *enjoyable things to do in the morning". We've seen almost all of the Drs in this practice over the past three years for one thing or another. I like them all but Dr. Jain, Dr. Develle were my favorites outside of her primary. I've been very happy using Swedish Pediatrics for my toddler's pediatric care. My daughter usually sees Dr. Develle, but has also seen Dr. Jain and Dr. Mulye. They all have wonderful bedside manner and have taken the time to answer my questions. My little girl has thankfully been pretty healthy so far, but the couple of times that she has been ill, the office has been able to find us a prompt appointment. read more

So the name has changed but these folks aren't on the internet so i doubt yelp will ever get updated :-( It was bought by Swedish, and now called Swedish Pediatrics. But its not at the main Swedish medical center in Redmond, they kept this old office location unfortunetly. from old reviews i assumed Dr Hempler was not taking new patients, but they told us she was now again taking new patients. Still we figured we'd start with a newer doctor who had a more flexible schedule and hopefully more up to date on newer technology. From the last yelp review we asked for Dr. Sophia Conley and it was the right choice. Like us she's from California. Unlike most medical practices I've experienced, she actually spent quite a bit of time with our son on his wellness checkup. Probably a whole 30 minutes. She went over his whole history, talked to him and made all of us feel comfortable and relaxed. She's really sweet and it makes the kids more at ease too. Its easy to book her only a few days out so that's always helpful to know in case anything comes up. read more

A++. i couldn't get in with dr. keller because she is booked solid for being so amazing, apparently! i scheduled with dr. hempler instead, and i couldn't be more thrilled. she has an inane ability with children; she seamlessly transitions from discussing your health concerns with playing and interacting with your baby on the floor. i always blank out when i get to my baby's appointments even though i have a few questions, but dr. hempler is experienced enough to ask routine questions that cover every issue that you may have forgotten. the front desk girls weren't too pleased that i showed up on the dot for my appointment instead of being 15 min early like they recommended, but be aware that there is a pediatrics right next door with the same name give or take a word!!!!!! so while i was trying to find my appointment at the wrong office with a confused receptionist, i was running late to my own appointment. just take note, new patients. apparently it happens all the time with us newbies! read more

Dr. Sophia Conley is amazing! Simply put. She is very kind, generous with her time (mind you quite a fast talker), and so, so sweet. Our child, from week one took to her gentle nature and kindness. My little one has never cried during a shot in this office, it's shocking to me. Most importantly, this office has made time for us without a scheduled appointment in the past, though I don't know if this is common. We called when our child wasn't keeping food down and wanted to get a check up and they just told us "be here before noon and we'll squeeze you in to see the doctor." And that was on the same day! All-in-all, I will only leave this pediatrician if Dr. Conley leaves. read more

We've been seeing Dr. Mellott for a year and a half now and are thrilled with how she cares for our family. Great with all our questions and those occasional after hours calls that happen with kiddos. She looks at the whole picture, not just weighing and measuring, but getting to know our kids personalities. Have seen a few other doctors in the clinic for short notice appointments and they have been helpful and attentive. read more

Very happy with Dr. Muyle, we are new to Seattle and i felt comfortable with her right away and her assistant is wonderful. Its nice to have a doctor who works a plan with us parents to keep my kids staying as healthy as they are! I highly recommend. The facility is ok but they are almost always booked very tightly and wouldn't accommodate your change requests or even booking at a short notice. Dr. Devell is great but I absolutely didn't like Dr. Mulye. I feel a dr has to be empathetic. Its about the patient, not you. Dr. Mulye seems just like a bigger teenager, who is engrossed in herself and is not empathetic at all. read more

I love this office. My kids have been patients of Dr Keller's for almost 7 years and I cannot say enough about how amazing she is. Dr Keller is warm, open to actually hear your concerns. I called to make an appt for my 2 kids and specifically asked for Dr Hempler. I was told she was on vacation that week and I could see one of the other drs but my kids could still have Dr Hempler as their pediatrician. I asked again on the day of the appt and was told the same thing, but when I called a few months later to make another appt, I was told Dr Hempler is no longer accepting new patients and I would have to chose another dr. I ended up seeing Dr Conley, who was fantastic. She was very friendly and patient and my 4 yr old son loved her. She let him experiment with the stethoscope and otoscope and explained things to him before doing anything. She is newer to the practice and I felt very comfortable with her. read more

Dr. Jain is just FABULOUS my daughter has seen her since birth besides the very first appointment, since her assigned PCP was going on maternity leave. I couldn't be more happy with Dr. Jain, was new to the whole mom life and she made me and my husband feel great and not so worried and scared about the parent life. She treats her patients as their own and takes her time to hear your concerns, very knowledgeable and patient. She doesn't prescribe unnecessary antibiotics very more on the natural side of things. Me and my husband couldn't be more happy with our daughters pediatrician. Dr. Jain if you need a pediatrician for your children you won't regret it!!!! read more

The clinic itself it great, clean and friendly staffed. Unfortunately both West Seattle branches did not send me any information about not renewing the contract with my chosen Insurance. I did not find out until the day I made an appointment for my sick baby. They made me pay out of pocket for the appointment. I have to find new doctors for myself (Primary Care, W. Dr. Neeta Jain is our pediatrician and I couldn't say enough wonderful things about her. She treats every child as though it was her own. My son loves her he just turned 1. She develops a special relationship with each one. She is so knowledgeable and got early intervention for our son to start physical therapy for his gross motor skills at 6 months, with great enthusiasm and encouragement she made the process so comfortable to go through. She is a wonderful support and wealth of knowledge for us as 1st time parents to put our mind at ease with so many opinions you will hear or get along the way. We are expecting our 2nd and when telling her she would be having another baby the excitement she shared with us was so genuine and supportive. WE LOVE HER! read more

I love Redmond Pediatric, I have been taking my kids here for five years. Dr. Keller visited us at the hospital the day each of my little one's were born. I have to say that RP represents the best kind of primary care. When my first son was small, he had growth issues. We were using a major "thank you, drive through" style practice that is prominently all over the east side, and the two providers there actually made our problem worse by treating a symptom instead of the actual root of the problem. when i was pregnant with my second, we got into redmond pediatrics and i can say with great confidence that the quality of care here is outstanding. dr. keller sits on the floor and interacts with and watches the child for some time before doing the physical exam, and treats both my boys with great consideration and love. we all LOVE dr. keller, and what's even more important is that i trust her deeply. read more

We search and searched for the right doctor and clinic for our baby. Dr. Hempler and Redmond pediatrics were the best we met. My wife and are very discerning and the clinic, Dr. Hempler and staff are all wonderful. They are very family oriented and we trust them implicitly. We always feel welcome and never feel like we are a pain even when we ask a lot of questions. They always squeeze us in when we have issues and are also great with phone support. They are awesome for our precious daughter and our sanity. read more

Dr Hempler is the best doctor on this planet, who does not simply suggest you to go to every single ot, pt, speech therapist if your child does not meet milestones. instead she tries to understand everything a child does cognitively, behaviorally and then gives her remarks. very encouraging and unlike all the doctors who just work on paper milestones. my kids would have been labelled as delayed if it was another doctor. with her she asked me to wait for a couple of months for most milestones i was worried about and whoaa , they started doing them. so don't believe paper milestones. every child is different. AND she personally returns calls many times read more

Upon reading the other reviews, I would agree that Dr. Keller is fantastic. But good luck getting in to see her. She has a HUGE waiting list. We used to be part of this practice when Dr. Dudas was there. At that time, we stayed at the practice because we liked him so much, despite not being satisfied with the front desk service or the nurses. After he left, we tried to stay on, but haven't been satisified with the practice since. We ended up leaving the practice. The front desk staff is rude, including the office manager. Some of the nurses are rude and are NOT good at giving shots. So, IF you can get in to see Dr. Keller and IF you get a good nurse, you'll have a great experience. Otherwise, your experience will be disappointing at best. read more

I feel like Dr Hempler is always there for us. We have had some serious injuries as well as routine illness' and she is always super attentive, super caring and super thorough. My kids have been seeing Dr Hempler for over ten years and she has a special relationship with each of them. She follows up with a phone call and is always available when we need her. Don't go here! We left after 5 years. I certainly like Dr. Keller, but the rude staff and nurses make it NOT WORTH IT. Don't even think of ever questioning them or speaking up about ANYTHING. We are thrilled with Redmond Pediatrics. We have been with Dr. Keller for almost 8 years and she has been a positive force during our journey of parenthood. She is thoughtful, thourough and has a wonderful way of connecting with the children. She gets down to the ground and observes the kids for a good length of time during her assessment. Dr. Keller is in high demand in this practice, but in 8 years, with 2 children with multiple visits, she has never made us feel rushed. Medicine as it should be! read more

I had quite wait to get the first available appointment (3.5 weeks), and then when I showed up they had booked someone else and canceled my appointment when they were the ones that called me the week before to reschedule the first time. They kept asking me what person had called me and when and asked if I was sure I wasn't supposed to be at the office next door until they finally found my child's original appointment in the computer and figured out they had canceled it. I rescheduled "again" 3 weeks later, they still hadn't gotten my child's chart when they called and informed me they had, and met one of the docs there. It was ok and she was nice. I'm not a big fan of being talked at and not talked too. I know check ups are a check list but it just felt like she read off a checklist of stuff I already knew and did. Overall I am not thrilled with the choice of offices. The only real plus I can say is that I got a real person when I called the office versus being on hold to make an appointment and in a telephone tree for 30 minutes before finally giving up and hanging up when I called Pediatric Associates. read more
