My rating is for mobility scooter service & accessories. Located in the NE corner of Greenfield and Main between the Fry's Gasoline Station and Dollar Tree. Parking Plenty of private parking. Store Full service mobility store with large inventory from mobility scooters, high end joystick Powered E-Chairs. Full service repairs on-site. Service We've used SW Mobility in Mesa for battery replacement and accessories for a couple of years. Earl is a wonderful guy and extremely helpful. Can't go wrong with SW Mobility! read more

Very nice people. The VA had them install a Harmst Lift on my truck.. The installer forgot to tighten the battery connections and instead of running a new power line he used the wire for a electric winch I carry when camping. I have to have another set of wires instaeed at my expense. I was given a quick how to use class. On the way home my truck went into limp mode, caused by loose connections. I called and the owner very nice person had me bring it in and he made some adjustments. My fault for not thinking about registering the lift with Harmar, I missed theirs time limit to register. Now I am having electrical problems with some type of short, kept me in a hot parking lot for about 30 minutes with chair in the air and no response from controller. By shaking wires got the chair loaded. Now searching for ways to wire the lift so I can depend on it to work. They are good people that work here and ai expect that I happened to be that one unlucky one to have problems with the installation. Because of the problems with the chair hanging on the lift I have a deep scratch on my left rear corner of my bed and I have to replace the tail light on my F150. read more

On their website, they say there's a 20% restock charge but they actually charge you 25%.. shady business practices

Slightly better than numotion(because humans answer the phone).Disabled people aren't human based on their interaction.Expect 7 weeks to get something done,one week faster than numotion.Numotion is very thorough.I don't have that impression from southwest mobility so far. Please let me know if there are any marginally better electric chair service entities. Two weeks for far waiting to get a rental.I think this industry has little to no competition. Lack of exercise/cooped up is making me weaker and more tired combined with apnea, I'm going to request a dnar for my inspire surgery. How many more weeks till a working chair?(rental or fixed)? read more

Arrived at this place for a lift install that had been previously discussed Left Tahoe with business went home only to discover installers couldn't do the job. Drove 20 miles each way for nothing not to mention inconvenience. These people have no clue about how to conduct business! Would not recommend these people! How about some gas money! read more

Terrible customer service!! ordered Lift & they approved size of hole to insert & it was too small. finally they paid half of what it cost to make it bigger after having discussion with the manager. No manual or warranty info. Told us if we wanted it we could go to internet & find it!! read more

Check prices before purchasing. Just purchased a Nitro Rollator RTL10266 for $399.00. Due to taking my wife in to check them out, I failed to check prices and later found it on Amazon for $211.97 and Lowes for $218.28, with list at $311.83. Staff was friendly and helpful, she got to try it out, but their pricing is rather high. read more

got my wheelchair from the VA, only veterans hosp. forgot to fit me for the chair. so when I went to pick it up it was ready but no one would tell me how to use it etc...rest of review was not allowed did speak with Mark the owner and was very nice said next time i ever go their call him and he would take care of me himself that's why i give it a 5 star read more

After seven years of faithful, continuous service, my lift chair was pretty worn out and thus, I was in the market for a new one. I visited Mark Farmer over at Southwest Mobility here in Mesa as he and his team had been so helpful in the past for my mobility needs. Mark had me check out the various lift/recliner chairs and I found one that fit me very well. Today, less than 3 short weeks later, my new chair was delivered to our home by Mark and one of his kind colleagues who kindly set it all up, demonstrated all the functions and even took my old lift chair away! Mark, I'm so very grateful for your kind and genuine interest in your customer's needs. You carefully listened to what was important to me and you delivered BIG time yet again! These People are probably the rudest, so called business associates I have ever had the displeasure of TRYING to do business with. My wheelchair was bought from them, and we were treated very well at that point. I was told that they were going to set the maximum speed lower until I was used to the machine, With that, the guy attached a devise under the armrest and reset the speed, saying that when I was comfortable with it, they would reset it to go faster. ( a 2 minute job) I returned yesterday to have it reset and was told, in a snotty manner, that I could unload it but it would take 2 weeks before they could look at it.. I was looking for a place that would take my insurance, after several weeks of searching, I finally found Southwest Mobility. From start to finish, The entire staff was just totally awesome, friendly, and courteous, especially CARI, Who handled the responsibility of coordinating the entire process. Everything went very smooth, I was able to get a scooter for my wife, and I was reimbursed from the insurance company. Cari handled everything with precision greatness. These people went above and beyond with service and I couldn't be happier. My husband was being belligerent due to the pain in his knees and not being able to walk. We went into the store and were greeted by Mark and Steve. I was interested in getting a mobility scooter for my husband. My husband tried a couple of scooters and the guys were very helpful. The store personnel even contacted our doctor to get a prescription sent directly to them to help us avoid having to pay sales tax. Then when they were met by my husband's concerns about fitting through the halls of our house, they brought some scooters to our home for him to try in his own comfort zone. We ended up buying a scooter from them and my husband is so happy now that he can go places and do things he wasn't able to do before. I'd give these guys 10 stars if it were an option. Took my scooter there because of gear/brake problems. they replaced(?) the brake. they even lost some of the compartment screws! when I called and advised that I had the same problem, the service guys was very rude and said that the problem was it needed new batteries. I took the batteries to the interstate dealer where I purchase them initially and he said they were fully charged! would not use these clowns again for any reason! read more

Two things to give a high five to these folks: 1. In July my husband's Power Chair (very technical and top of the line chair) was broken. I needed to rent an Extra Large size power chair and this place was the only one to have one immediately, with delivery the next morning. 2. My insurance company would need 5-6 weeks time to repair my husband's chair which would have cost $600 plus in another rental (which my Ins Co would not pay for). Southwest's Technical Dept knew all about his chair and said they would rush through the part and repair it as fast as possible. The cost was the same as the rental would have been and my husband had his chair fixed and delivered within 10 days (since the 4th of July delayed parts delivery). They came through when nowhere else could I find service to help us. I found their staff were all helpful and always took care of any questions we had. They are now in my reference book for service.....thank you Guys! read more

My mother-in-law purchased her Jazzy from SW Mobility originally, she passed away last year so the Jazzy was given to one of her sons who has used it off and on for almost a year. New batteries were installed in May of this year, but the battery charger was lost in one of his moves. The chair sat in a spare room at my house until a new charger was purchased in November but the batteries would not take a charge. We then learned from SW Mobility that the batteries need to be charged a minimum of a couple times a month or they will go dead and are then unable to take a charge, which requires them to be replaced. New batteries were purchased/installed almost a week ago; this is the second set in six months. SW Mobility did not provide the information about the batteries requiring "periodic" charging until the second set was purchased/installed. I seriously question SW Mobility's business ethics and practices; this is not a company I want to do business with any longer. read more
