The customer service here was exceptional. I love that I can get margherita pizza here by the Slice and the ingredients are awesome! The slices are the perfect size and the beer is very reasonable! Cheapest beer in Chattanooga I'm pretty sure! The service was quick so if you need a quick bite, I would definitely recommend. There is also room to sit and hang, but not that much, so not recommended for huge groups or lengthy stays! I love be vibe and believe this is the perfect addition to Southside. Currently they close at 10 but would love for this place to pick up so it can be a late night go to for Southside and the Chattanooga community! Also - after 9:30pm they serve half price slices as they get ready to close! Take advantage of that and give this place a try! read more

Probably one of the best pizzas we've had in the last year. This place caters to a college age customer but people of all ages were there. We order a meat pizza and the toppings were extremely fresh. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a nice crunch of the crispy crust. I will be back. read more

I was able to grab lunch here with a friend, and this pizza is one of the best that I have ever tried in Chattanooga. I'm not kidding it is SO good!!! The crust is the perfect amount of crunchy, and the cheese is perfectly cheesy and NOT too greasy. That balance alone will make me definitely return to Southside Pizza. The slices are on the larger end, so you don't have to worry about not getting full. The customer service is also very attentive, and they do a great job with making sure that you have what you need! I will most DEFINITELY be returning here! read more

This has become one of my go-to pizza delivery places. I'll admit the very first time I had this pizza (shortly after it opened) I felt it was okay, but it has really grown on me over time. Typically I like thick crust but their crust is a nice blend of being thin but still soft. I am not a fan of thin and crispy crust personally. I do think their items are a little over-priced; buying a whole pie is definitely the most cost effective way to go. For the first time this week I ordered 2 slices of pizza and their house salad to go; this came to a total of $17 with tax. The small salad was $7. Now the salad was super fresh and tasty, but for the size I think the appropriate price would be more like $4-5. I have not had a specialty pie I didn't like yet. Of note, the patio is NOT dig friendly. Unfortunately, this is a con in a dog-friendly city so you'll have to skip this place if you think about swinging by with your pooch (or just have to order to go). read more

Cute place and great customer service. I just wasn't a fan of the pizza I tried. I got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese. It was good but it had the small pepperoni circles and there were a lot of them. I like the larger slices with a better cheese to pepperoni ratio, but that's definitely my preference. My hubby got the Spicoli and I had a taste and that was actually really good. He also got a slice of the chicken parm and said that was good as well. I would go back and try different slices. read more

We have been on the lookout for a decent pizza place since moving to Tennessee a few months ago. Well on out family day trip to Lookout Mountain, we happened to stumble across this place. HOLY CRAP DID THEY NOT DISAPPOINT!! The pizza was absolutely delicious and perfect!!! Best we have had in months! Big pie, great sauce, scrumptious toppings! The only down side is its a 2 hour drive for us, but for this pizza, Id do it every week! Great service, great food, oh and even pet friendly!! Which our puppy also gives a big paws up to the crust and garlic knots! ;) We all cant wait to go back and if your thinking about going, DO NOT HESITATE!! read more

Anyone that knows me knows that my weakness is pizza to me good pizza is like magic!!! So Okay okay okay! I never thought I would say this words but this is absolutely the best pizza I've had in Chattanooga and I dare to say all of North Georgia too. Let me just start with the prices, very affordable ! You can get a large pepperoni pie made on request for only $22. And they have a daily special og a cheese slice plus fountain drink for only 5 bucks! The dining room is nice and quaint, very basic but functional and comfortable, perfect temperature . The staff is very knowledgeable on the menu and the ingredients. Chapman will suggest something if u cant decided he was very friendly and provided great service. But let's us talk about the start of the show The Amazing Southside Pizza! I don't even know where to start. I guess two words to describe it would be magically delicious! the crust is perfect...the crust wasnt as thin as i like however it compensated by being in my opinion a very basic yet artisan style crust, nice and charred and it stands up to the full flavors of the pizza pie! The sauce was so tasty, thick, hints of sweet spice and acidity and perfectly seasoned. and the cheese OMG Just like a like it greasy and salty!!! TGE PEPERONI WAS ALSO VERY DELISH! I stopped by here last night (a Monday night) to grab a few slices on the way home from the dog park/bar, and I was impressed! Their slices are huge, and they had about five options. My husband and I each got one of the margherita, and then I got a slice of the bianca and he got a cheese slice. They threw the slices into the oven to heat them up some more, and then we were on our way. The whole exchange took about 5 minutes, though they weren't busy. We devoured the pizza when we got home--it was so good! I love the crust especially (I'm picky about my pizza crusts.) They have a patio, so if they're dog-friendly I'll definitely be back to hang out and eat a whole pie there soon. read more

Stopped here on a road trip (with for kids) Found it on Yelp and glad we did. We tried six different slices and all were super fresh and tasty. Would totally have done five stars, but one slice was slightly burnt. Kitchen happily accepted it back and quickly replaced it. Great quality, quick, and casual. There are only a few tables inside (and some bar-height seating), but PLENTY of outside seating. There were also several high chairs available. We'll return. read more

As a local here in Chattanooga I really appreciate a pizza company in town that can really deliver a good New York slice and Southside definitely delivers that. For anyone who hasn't experienced pizza in the North East then keep in mind their pizza needs to be crunchy, delicious with a crust you can't stop eating at the end. I judge a pizza every time initially by either a basic cheese or cheese and pepperoni then they earn my trust to experiment with the toppings plus it gives me a good baseline for comparison to other companies. These guys knock it out of the park! Go in this place and get whatever topping your heart desires. This place gets an A in my book. read more

The slices are good, but ordering a full pizza is definitely better because it comes out fresh. Another thing I really like is the adult fried cheese appetizer, which is basically like a spicy pepperoni and cheese egg roll and it's really good. Parking is typical for downtown. There's street parking or a lot across the street. Most of it is paid parking except for nights and Sundays. Overall this is one of my go-to spots in Chattanooga and somewhere I always recommend when people ask where to eat downtown.

The description of the wings uses the word "crispy" but they were not crispy at all. They were more oven baked and fatty. The flavor was not buffalo style, it had a sweet taste to it.

TailGate Brewery in Chattanooga?? obsessed. this place is HUGE, like you walk in and…read moreimmediately feel like you picked the right spot. super dog friendly, tons of space, and just overall a really fun, laid-back vibe. we had already eaten at a spot down the street (tragic, honestly) but after seeing the menu?? yeah... we should've waited. everything sounded so good. my boyfriend and I already said next time we're 100% getting a sandwich and a beer here because it just feels like that kind of place. our bartender was super nice and quick and can we talk about the bathrooms?? pristine. like actually clean, which says a lot. also the patio situation?? elite. big screen TVs, tons of space, and apparently they do movie nights out there which I didn't even realize at the time. now I'm fully planning a summer night here because that sounds like so fun...easy 5 stars. already planning my return.
