I have been on hormone therapy for 13 years and have never had any issues with my refills and a doctor until her. She has left me without this important medicine on two occasions. She neglected to order bloodwork to check for a cancer marker that I get annually and blamed it on the lab. She told me to take calcium when my calcium levels were above normal on my bloodwork results and I really needed magnesium. Her and her staff are incompetent in my opinion. Her care team said she would order the refill, this never happened and no one called to tell me anything as I waited. I feel this is neglect by the doctor since did not inform me that I had to make a mandatory appointment every 3 months to get hormones. I don't know if this is new protocol but I should have been notified before my refill expired. One care team person said I had plenty of refills. This office staff had me calling the pharmacy back and forth for two weeks to get this Rx refill and no one said I had to have blood work and an appt until I made a tele-visit appt to order a refill by Amanda VANSCOY , a Nurse Practitioner, she was so rude and incompetent. She calls over an hour before the appt time and shows no empathy or responsibility for my situation because of her office. She was so rude that she hung up on me. Such a lack of professionalism for a health care provider. She did not want to address the misinformation and run around with the pharmacy I received in the past two weeks from her office. She is one of those people that says, "I don't know what was said", "I am not your provider", "I don't know anything about you", "I'm just telling you have to get blood work and come in to see the doctor". I'm done with this doctor and this office. I don't trust them after a year of improper care. It's is so disappointing and frustrating.

Told me I had fibromyalgia, I had no idea what that was, how to treat it or if it COULD be treated,…read moreI didn't know if it was something that could be cured or treated with medication.. She literally just walked in the room said I had fibromyalgia and walked out.. that was it, I luckily had my caregiver and advocate there, because I was so confused and overwhelmed I just started crying... My caregiver walked into the hall and asked if she could explain more, she handed a pamphlet with details about a support group that meets at the office, but had no information on fibromyalgia itself.. and she left.. that was it. Honestly I don't care how many patients you have to see that day, that's on you and your staff for booking that many, we waited 3+ hours because she was behind, although I don't know how if she spends less than 2 minutes with each one... I have several health problems and have had several doctors have to tell me about a new illness/disorder/disease etc.. ALL at least took the time to explain what it was, I mean you'd think that would be obvious for a doctor to do, all took the time to explain basically everything about it AND a treatment or a way to make me more comfortable if not that very day, they made sure I had an appointment within 2wks to do that.. Never before had I had a doctor who gave me a diagnosis but nothing else and left me to basically just go home and do the 1 thing I try to never do and look up an illness online... I don't know how she still has patients, I guess some people just need medication and refills etc .. BUT IMHO if you're seeking a diagnosis, don't go to her.. I hope for other people's sake somehow I caught her on a VERY off day, if you can even call it that, but my experience with her was awful and as some know, when you have a lot of health problems and see a lot of specialists, therefore a lot of doctors, there's gonna be some pretty bad ones and experiences, but wow she is up there with the worst I've had. XOXO WISHING EVERYONE THE BEST

Dr. Freyne is an excellent Doctor in my opinion. I've been to a handful of Rheumatologists and she is better than anyone in this area. She's very thorough and knows her stuff. She's straightforward and gets what needs to be done, done. She has given my husband great care. The office is clean and organized and the front desk woman is very helpful and sweet. So far the two nurses he's had were great too. The reason for the 4 is because it is VERY hard to get a hold of anyone in charge of the referrals and if you ask the front office to take a message they say they can't. I left 2 voicemails and never got a call back. Frustrated is an understatement. Overall I do recommend Dr. Freyne as a Rheumatologist.

I'm sure every patient is different and will do blood tests for the more severe or something he can't solve but with me he didn't. I got a vibe in he takes too much pride and not having to do blood tests for most of his patients. I am also very observant when I was with him the few times of his professional behavior, he's smart, professional and gives off a fake professional caring vibe all the way till almost the end of our meeting, time was up and he did it twice, I was still asking questions and he gave that look to me like hurry up I have to get to my next patient and I watched his eyes wonder to the direction of the other room with a slight irritation. Did this twice, I'm sure Kelly will put in her own two cents. I did not FEEL heard, every time I wrote Kelly telling her of my ailments and it's getting worse, I mean worse I was experiencing symptoms of burping over EVERYTHING, even water and it was scaring me, my liver area was hurting as well and I couldn't sleep because of all the burping. Every time I wrote Kelly at first she seemed attentive in the beginning but eventually she just started saying it hasn't been that long you just started taking your supplements, give it some time, you're just experiencing detox symptoms. Okay so I tried but my intuition was telling me NO this is something more, it's doesn't FEEL right. My final straw with them was when I messaged Kelly telling her my symptoms and she just said go to nearest hospital and report back to us what they say if anything comes up. I'm also in AZ when I was seeing Dr. Cassone so I couldn't visit him but still the fact that I felt like they didn't care and were worried more about $$$ because it cost to see him each time, not once did she ever reach out or ask or say dr. Cassone would like to talk about your symptoms. Plus going to then is the whole reason why I'm not going to regular doctor and here they are just pointing me in a direction to go somewhere else. Those doctors would just prescribe antibiotics and send me on their way. That was my last straw so I never followed up and they lost my business, not that they care because another one always shows up to replace the $$$. I found a new holistic doctor here in AZ, she's amazing and I was so relieved that she wanted to do blood tests after our first meeting. I felt heard by Dr. Karleen, I found out through my blood tests, I'm dealing with candida overgrowth, pcos, low vitamin D and she had me do blood food allergy test. With Dr. Cassones paleo food plan to follow, it wasn't working for me and it's hard to tell which foods I should eat or not, I wasn't so sure whether it was a detox symptom or food allergy, I was never 100% sure and it was making me scared to eat anything. When I did the food blood test with Dr. Karleen, it gave me relief and helped narrow down as to what foods I need to avoid: all dairy, gluten, wheat, egg whites, avocado, ginger, and pineapple. I was eating most of these foods on Dr. Cassones paleo food plan because he said follow this. I knew it wasn't working for my body. Dr. Karleen's supplements are very potent, everything of what she has me taking, I love her probiotics, very powerful. I also liked how I'm able to call Dr. Karleen on the phone, she gave me 45 minutes of her time when I had some concerns when I first started her regime, she answered all my questions and again like I keep saying, FELT HEARD, you can't even call up Dr. Cassone for a quick phone conversation, everything is done through email communication with Kelly, which gets annoying because she didn't always get back to me. I also bought an at home infrared sauna, that has helped heal my gut immensely(look it up, infrared sauna and healing leaky gut), the warts on my hands are gone, my tongue is finally back to bright red, eczema patches on my skin are gone and no longer have burping. I still try to watch what I eat but I am able to eat more easily without any symptoms. (I first started going to Dr. Cassone when I was still living in Murrieta, then I moved to AZ)

I needed a solution to the root of my pain, not a bandaid. I sought out a functional doctor in my area and found Dr. Hoyt and his wonderful staff. On my initial visit I learned that I was full of inflammation, and the next visit it was all confirmed with my blood test results. In two weeks of following his plan I got my sleep back. In a month I no longer had chronic joint pain issues. In the 6 months I lost 44 lbs and regained my health! I have changed my nutrition and now respect how my body can heal itself. At my first visit with Dr. Gomer, he reviewed with me my health issues and meds, and instantly made some changes to my meds without explanation until I asked for the reasons. My next visit was a big disappointment. I signed up for his weight loss program. I was to meet with Dr. Gomer and his weight loss person. She spent all the time speaking about herself and her achievements, but barely scratched the surface in describing the program or asking me what I hoped to achieve. She also informed me that Dr. Gomer had to leave for a meeting and that I would be seeing another doctor. After waiting in the room for about 10 minutes, Dr. Gomer popped in to inform me had was short on time and I needed to reschedule this appointment. I almost did not return, except my wife had also moved over from our shared prior primary and had only a very positive experience. I report all this because I am so glad I gave Dr. Gomer a second chance. Since that not-so-good visit, I have had only positive experiences. He has always been on time (an amazing feat for a doc), spent whatever time was needed with me, answered all my questions, and we developed a plan for weight loss, eliminating (not just treating symptoms, but the root cause) of my health issues, and meds. Since putting the plan in place and with monthly follow-ups, I have eliminated two meds and am close to eliminating one more, leaving only three left. I have also lost 30 pounds in the process. What I have found with Dr. Gomer is that if you want very targeted treatment to achieve your weight, health, and medication goals, you must be proactive and take responsibility for communicating what you wish to achieve and follow the treatment plan as outlined. I highly recommend Dr. Gomer. Remember, sometimes a first or early impression may be inaccurate. I suggest you take at least 3 months to decide whether Dr. Gomer is a good fit for you, and early on, clearly communicate your longer-term goals. PS: Robert is great. Oh, he did use his stethoscope to make sure I had a heartbeat on his way out, kind of an afterthought! They then insisted I had to come back in AGAIN in six months after yet another session of bloodwork, no explanation, and no I have no medical issues besides migraines. They didnt like it when I told them I had no intention of getting more bloodwork in only six months, especially since he hadnt even gone over any of it this last time with me, recommended is approximately 3-5 years unless there is a medical condition warranting it, there isnt. Anyway, I've received several prescriptions from him, some are actually CURRENT ones that I take, I contacted his office today and they told me I was no longer a patient there, didnt even ask WHY I was calling, and hung up on me. Said I hadnt been in there since last May, so??? I called back again, ten minutes on hold, and the office manager proceeded to tell ME I was rude, because they'd asked questions and NOT given me an opportunity to answer and then hung up on me - twice? I never got a chance to tell them WHY I was calling. My prescription BY Dr. Gomer will no longer be paid by my insurance so they needed him to contact them to do something called a Prescription Drug Determination so I can continue to receive this (Emgality for migraines). This is an actual current prescription BY Dr. Gomer for me and his office refuses to pass my message onto him. Bottom line: I would NOT recommend going to this facility or Dr. Gomer, whatever office he's currently at! I've never seen such rude office workers in my life and I've seen some pretty awful ones in this area now unfortunately. Office help can make or break a practice, I wonder if Dr. Gomer know that yet? ‍ The office help by name are: Valerie and Chelsea, asst. office manager and manager and I didnt catch the name of the gal who answered the phone at the front desk, but they're all pretty much the same there, BAD!
