Replaced the fuse and drove the truck 1,300 miles back to Michigan with no problems. The wires had corrosion build up on them, so I can see where Armando would have blindly diagnosed it as a wiring and starter issue. However, as a technician myself, I know the first thing you do is check the fuses related to the electrical issue you are experiencing. Hence, the reason I questioned Armando about the fuses in the first place. Fact of the matter is, a simple fuse would have been the fix to get the truck back to my shop in Michigan. It would have cost me less than $200. Small mistakes create large problems. Owning up to those mistakes is not always easy. However, when the evidence is put right in front of you and you stand on pride instead of righteousness, the problem then becomes even bigger. I'm at peace with the ignorance of your "technician". It was a valuable lesson for me. I paid $1,384.90 for this lesson. The only good to come of this, I learned from my mistake. Have a great evening.

I must brag on the service at Tom's Tire Pros I used to…read moretake my car to a dealership in town and really thought they were good until I discovered they had lied to me about some routine car care that they said they did, only to find out later it was, in fact, never done. They will remain nameless. It is not my nature to slam a business. Personally, it shook my confidence and trust, though. Fast forward. Had to buy four new tires after the discovery of the "false care" from them. My son recommended Tom's Tire Pros, so I bought them there. I had to charge them so had all of the road hazard insurance added. Then, I called and had the wheels aligned there and decided to go there for my oil change. The alignment and the oil change cost less than I had paid at other places in the past. The topper came this week, though. I had been hearing a loud squeak in the springs or frame or whatever??? I took it up to them to ask if someone could drive it around slowly and listen to it to see if it could be fixed or what it would cost. One of the shop guys did just that and came in and was telling the service writer what he did. I walked up and asked him to tell me. He said it was the stabilizer that was squeaking and something about struts?? I'm a girly girl so understood some of it, but bottom line, I could replace something or other, but it would be fine without it. He greased the squeaking really well, with it on the lift rack and it was gone. There would still be a popping in the something?? I never heard that to begin with, and haven't still.? So, I asked the mechanic if he would replace the part and he said no. I said okay, I'm not. The replaced thing was $600. I went to pay, and they both said " No Charge "!! I tried to tell them thank you but could hardly get the words out with out crying I told them how much it means to me to be able to trust a business like theirs again!!! Just can't recommend this place enough!

I had to walk every aisle just to see what all they carried. It's amazing! Just walking the aisles, I saw several things I need or could use. But they have brought big city prices to small town Abilene. Just my humble opinion, of course. I have been in 3 times now, comparing prices. So far, I have bought elsewhere. Anyway, it really is a great store with LOTS of stuff. If you go shopping, ask for Joel. Very knowledgeable and a great guy. See ya!

I was approved for 6,300$ limit, and I stead of cutting it up when it arrived, I kept it. I purchased a few things a couple of weeks ago, Milwaukee splitting ax, and a plasma lighter I paid cash for. I decided to charge an air compressor on the card I've never used, 299$ I paid on that day, Thurs, and picked up on Fri. As I rolled it to my transportation, not one employee offered me any help in loading. I'm 62yrs old, plenty able to have handled it, but Harbor Freight wouldn't have offered, they would've done it with me not touching a thing. When I pay this bill that is coming, it will be the last. We will parting ways with Northern. Actually every time I've been in there, the employees aren't there due to enjoying their job, they are there due to necessity.
