Neither the person who helped my find the item to the person checking me out told me about the 48 hour return window and that I can't open the item. It's not printed at the cash register. It's not on the receipt. THE MULTIPLE PEOPLE I TALKED TO DID NOT TELL ME!!!! The manager Danny said this happens all the time and people get upset, and there's nothing he can do. I said, if this happens all the time, there's clearly a problem they should own and fix. As the store leader, he should take ownership of there customer experience for what THEY CAN AND SHOULD actually do: 1.) Make sure your employees educate customers on the policy when customers are trying to buy the item. 2.) Post the policy at the register. The printed policy at the register mentioned pressure washers and generators, not portable AC units. 3.) Post the policy where they are being sold and on the boxes. 4.) Print it on the receipt. 5.) Make a sign on the way out within normal height and readable letters. He was extremely condescending and told me to educate myself on the policy then pointed to a sign you can't read while walking out of the store because it's too high with small thin letters. Who has a 48 hour return policy??? Maybe 7, 14, or 30 days, but 48 hours? Oh, and you can't open it. How would you know if it isn't posted anywhere you can see and nobody tells you even though they know it's always upsetting to customers and results in a poor experience. Now I'm out $750 with a product we hate and doesn't meet our needs. I've been remodeling two bathrooms and in that store multiple times, and they always have bad attitudes. I won't be spending any more money there ever again. They've lost the thousands of dollars we're spending on our current remodel and all future business.
