Called Baron's first thing this morning, was given an estimated time of 11-1 today! Nikolay called about 25 minutes before arrive to inform me he was on his way. He arrived and got right to work. My refrigerator went out yesterday, so he started there. Carefully moved the fridge and took apart the back and was quick to diagnose the problem. He took the time to show me what his findings were, gave me an estimated price on a new part and labor. Next onto my dryer, the door latch receiver had fallen in to the outside housing. He took the time to carefully move the dryer and disassembled it quickly. He found out the part was plastic and it had broken. He made a phone call and found the part right away, told me he would be back in a few minutes that he had to run get the part. He was back very quickly, replaced the part, reassembled the dryer and took the time to explain about to prevent the part from breaking again. Nikolay was very upfront and honest with his pricing. He was great at taking the time to show what was wrong and offered suggestions. Our refrigerator started feeling unexpectedly warm on Saturday night. By the next morning it was clear it was broken. No one could come out until Tuesday at the earliest. I found Baron's on Yelp and was surprised that they not only made Sunday calls, but could send out a technician within an hour. Nikolay arrived within the quoted time, was polite and walked us through every step. He showed great care with moving our refrigerator over our bamboo floors, making sure not to damage them. He diagnosed our needs promptly and explained exactly what needed to be replaced and why. He also broke down the cost and associated fees allowing us a chance to discuss repairs versus replacement. He let us know exactly what we needed to do prior to repair so that the work would be completed without complications. The only open wearhouse with the necessary parts was in Tempe and Nikolay drove out to the wearhouse from our Avondale home to pick the parts up and returned to fix our refrigerator. He gave us a time frame that he would return by and returned within that time, even though it was raining. When he returned Nikolay continued to walk us through the repairs and ensured that it was properly working before cleaning up. The entire process was less than five hours, even with a hour drive to and from Tempe. The wearhouse incorrectly quoted the cost of the parts, but Nikolay honored his previously quoted fee. I don't know many companies that do that these days. I'm grateful that he was able to repair our fridge and that we thankfully didn't lose any of our perishables thanks to Nikolay's quick and professional work. Perfect five star reviews are no lie when it comes to Baron's. I called them when my cat decided to chew my washing machine drain hose and he responded asap. I know what you are thinking, why didn't you change a simple hose yourself? I would be saying the same thing, if I had not personally seen how new washing machines are assembled. Plus one star for them answering the phone at 4am and coming out that same morning. Full Review: My new dishwasher wasn't draining, called these guys. Over the phone I was quoted 65$ for a diagnostic and if I chose them it would pay to fix the drainage problem. Turns out I was just dumb and when I installed my new garbage disposal, I forgot to take a cap off so the water wasn't getting pumped through. He found the cap, took it off and was done in 10 minutes. Then charged 100$ for labor. Which is funny since there was not really any labor. I called and asked why the price difference, and he told me if he finds the problem and fixes it, he charges the same amount regardless of the work done. I should have had him find it, tell me where/what the problem was, then I would have paid the $65.00 diagnostic fee and taken the cap off myself. So five stars for them finding and fixing the problem and coming out the same day. Memorial Day service! It was impressive they were available and offer regular pricing to begin with. Technician Nikolai was here at the promised time, within 1-2 hrs after phone call. Did the diagnostic promptly and explained in detail what the problem was with our dryer machine, after showing us the faulty part. He happened to have the needed part available and promptly gave us a reasonable quote. The whole ordeal didn't take more than an hour or so and the machine was up and running just like that. He tested it with me and gave me some recommendations on how to prevent further issues. My husband called at 8.30am and by 9:30am Nikolay was here to help. Not only did he fix our fridge he drove from our house (Glendale) to Mesa to get the part needed to repair it. He was again on time, professional, and was more focused on customer service than anything else. Honest and reasonable, I only call Baron's for appliance repair. It's a lot cheaper than replacing your appliances. Plus, if the repair is going to be more than purchasing a new appliance, they will tell you up front. The only cost is the service fee. I called this morning, based upon Yelp reviews, to have my refrigerator repaired as it was leaking water from the water line going in for the ice maker. I expected to have to wait a couple of days. Nikolay was at my home at 10am! Totally unexpected and service oriented. Wow! It turns out that my water line leak was the least of my problems. The fan had stopped working and the condenser was overheated. I knew I was having to turn the refrigerator colder in order for the freezer to keep my food frozen. I just had no scope of the total issue. Nikolay replaced the fan, cooled off the condenser, repaired the water line and cleaned the coils near the fan in about an hour. This company was great! My refrigerator died. I called them at 3 and they were there at 4:30. The technician, Nikolay was very thorough. After an hour of trying this and that he told me that my compressor was bad. He then informed me that it would cost about as much to replace it as to fix.
