I see why they don't answer the phone. The hip hop music was so loud that they probably can't hear it. They were all out of what I wanted to order, so I just picked something out of their little warming case. My wife wanted something and when I wasked the server that seemed stoned out of his gourd he opened the kitchen door and ask the cook if they had any. He came back and said it would be 15 minutes. I told him that would be fine and I'd wait in the car. Maybe he said an hour and 15 minutes. The music was so dang loud it was hard to hear. I came back after 15 minutes and got talking to other customers. Actuall met several nice people. They came and went but the conversation continues with new arrivals. I didn't realize how long I'd been standing there. I knew it was quite awhile because my feet were killing me. There is nowhere to sit at all. Finally my order was ready. My wife was in the car and she asked what the heck took so long. I looked at the time and I'd been in there for over 1 1/2 hours! Holy crap! My She was ticked off to say the least. The food was not too bad. Nothing I'd ever really have a craving for, but it filled me up. I've talked to a few other people that have had the same experience. No way I'd ever go there again unless they answer the phone first.

EMT Foodtruck - Love the fries I got there a while back. And any of their chipotle sauces are to die for.

SUPER local food truck and proud of it! I bookmarked their page a while back, and it's actually…read morequite interesting. I'm not vegan or vegetarian in the least, but I've bought my lunch from them on more than one occasion. And it was good for that. Fortunately for me, I worked on campus, so when I got out of class, I'd make a short detour to where it was parked next to RAWL (one of their stops at the time), and pick up up something to eat. At that time, it tended to be the the grilled cheese and tater tots. Actually, it's hard for me to write anything about their food because they're so good about changing up their menu and having new things. They're really big on creativity and using local ingredients. For example, they got a boatload of millet sometime back and start asking around what people thought they should make from it to sell. Said webpage will also tell you their schedule, menus, and whatnot. Overall, it's typically American comfort food, but I've seen items with the occasional Mexican or Italian or Greek influence. Great prices, fun, and carefully thought out dishes. Prepare yourself to wait for a bit after ordering. Staff are super friendly and open about any questions you have about the food. In general, they tend to be very responsive about feedback and ideas you may have. Mostly though, VIEW THEIR WEBSITE (as provided above). They provide the menu for each event on Facebook, announce special events and where they're going to be on Twitter, and their website (emtfoodtruck.com) has a calendar summarizing where they'll be and what kind of weather that day will be having. Speaking as someone who had dropped by one day without realizing that it was going to rain? This is very convenient. Like a number of noteworthy local restaurants, there are a number of local food trucks that you'll find at pretty much every big local event (festivals and such). This is one of them. If they're in your area, I'd highly recommend you to try it at least once.

The Mac n cheese bites were amazing though! The fries we ordered were ok but it did not have any garlic-pepper seasoning. We actually went out to our car to get salt just to add some flavor to our food. Would try again but choose something else to try.

I choose $21.97 meatloaf which ended up being a pan size and to-go leftovers. With my meal cost, came an unlimited drink so I ordered a Pepsi but wish they have a zero sugar drink or reduce the cost for water in the soul food restaurant. Meatloaf was fine but needs a little more flavor like onion or bread crumbs. The candied sweet potato was the best on the table. I was not expecting an additional person for this gathering and wondered if that would reduce the portions of sides to takeout. Do you know?

There were maybe six tables full of folks. The service was awesome. Our server greeted us upon arrival. She was very attentive but not overly. Our food arrived very quickly. My chicken, greens and macaroni were very good. The plates were a little too small for the portions. The onions and cornbread were a nice added touch. My husband had a veggie plate. He liked everything except the cabbage. He said it was not seasoned very well. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. A couple of negatives - cash only and no handicapped parking or ramps in the parking lot.
