The burgers fries & BLT was amazingly delicious. It has an 80's theme to the place, the menu is simple & did i mention the homemade buns and cinnamon rolls?. Let me say that this gem is only open fri & sat, serving hamburgers on fri and chicken on Saturdays of course wirh all the sides. The service was awesome & family owned. This is the kind of place you want to Keep coming back until you've tried everything on the menu and choose your favorites. The food is good and some is excellent. I'd prefer more smoke, as others have said, but the pork is juicy and tender. The fried okra is hot, fresh, crisp and delicious. The cornbread cakes are spot on. I suspect the turnip greens are canned and of a brand that I really like so zero complaints there. If you live around here you know and if you're passing nearby it's certainly worth a stop. I'll be back whenever i'm in the area.

My favorite was the brisket, it's my first, I'm used to California bbqs Tri-tip, prime rib, filet mignon and T-bone steaks. Never realized what a real bbq brisket was, always saw it on TV, but this was the real deal. Naturally the other meats were great, but the brisket takes the cake. The tenders were in fact hand breaded and looked great-my boys wolfed them down before I could taste one.
