I wish I could rate in negative stars. The service is hit or miss. One day you have a staff person smiling and making you feel glad you drove through their store, maybe the next time, you get completely ignored with no hello or thank you when they grab your money/card or hand you your order. The bathrooms were acceptable pre-COVID, now...UGH!!! Prices are a bit steep for the portion sizes. NOW...lets get to the meat of the story...so to speak. I ordered French toast sticks and a coffee. Sorry their suppliers are out of that menu item. Well...lets try the chicken and waffle sandwich with honey maple syrup. Waffle tasted like a biscuit put through the waffle iron. Kindergartners could make this. Chicken was so dry and super crispy but it tasted like old grease. I really thought the honey maple syrup would save the day, but hes not a game player. 5 bucks for nothing!!!!!! We love their chicken tenders! I have no idea why the other reviewers are disappointed, but our food has always been freshly cooked and served to our table. The workers have always been respectful and helpful. We say Great Job Hardee's of Hohenwald. read more

Hardee's slogan; "Eat like you mean it" does not apply to this franchise. The food is almost always cold and tasteless. Rarely is your order correct and/or complete. The management and employees should adopt the slogan; "Cook, serve and clean like you mean it!" Pass this one by. read more

Why is this place open? The food has no taste whatsoever. Staff has absolutely no idea what they're doing. A tip for this town: eat local. Rio Colorado and Snappys Pizza are good picks. read more

For over ten years I have eaten in Hardees in Lawrenceburg, Tn, three - sometimes four or more times - every week, during which time I have found the service and food - for the most part - good. However, over the past several months the service and sanitation has deteriorated to such an unacceptable level that I have decided I am not going to eat at the Lawrenceburg, Tn Hardees anymore. Not until some needed sanitation problems are addressed. Last week when I came in to Hardees to eat, I found the soap container in the restroom empty and couldn't wash my hands; so I went up to the counter, asked to speak with the manager and complained to her about the continual problem of no soap in the much too dirty, inadequately stocked restroom. I asked if she could please put some soap in the restroom, so I could wash my hands. I then returned to wait outside the restroom until the soap could be installed. Incredibility, some twenty minutes later there's still no soap, so I go back up to the counter to again ask the manager about getting some soap in the restroom. She appears quite agitated and remarks in a low whispering like tone that customers are more courageous in Holdenwald, Tn, than here in Lawrenceburg, and if I don't like the way the restroom looks, she'll be glad to let me use the broom and mop, so I can clean it to my satisfaction. Her remarks are somewhat unsettling, so I don't respond. After a few moments she breaks the silence by remarking that if I would be patient, she would get some soap. I politely thank her and go back to wait. After another fifteen minutes there's still no soap, so I go back up to the counter to ask again; but the manager has disappeared and no where to be found, so I ask the attending clerk for some soap and head back to wait outside the restroom until the soap is installed. On my way back, I notice a somewhat interesting sight standing just outside the door; Closer observation reveals that it's the disappearing, soap refusal manager. She's been standing there for some smoking, lighting up one after another. Meanwhile, I am informed by the cashier clerk that the soap has been installed. Since it only took the clerk about five minutes to install the soap after being requested, it's my feeling, because that the manager from Holdenwalk, Tn, thought it more important to insult a long time customer by going outside and smoking instead of installing soap as requested, that she is derelick in her duties as a Hardee manager. A customer should not have to ask for soap in a restaurant to wash hands. It's understandable that this could sometimes occur on a busy day, but, unfortunately, this is not an isolated indecent; on the contrary, this out-of-soap scenario is repeated over and over again every week or so, and it's been this way every since the ex Holdenwald manager came to work at the Lawrenceburg, Tn, Hardees. Apparently, the Hardee manager from Holdenwald, thinks smoking is more important than her managerial duty to keep soap supplied in the restrooms so customers can wash before eating. Just think of all those customers with with dirty, feces, unwashed hands handling everything from napkin containers, door handles, fountain and coffee dispenser handles because the Holden Wall manager thinks smoking is more important than her managerial duty to make sure soap is in the restrooms. The Lawrenceburg, Tn Hardees needs a manager like the cashier who, after being requested, only took about five minutes to install the needed soap so that customers could wash their hands. It's my feeling, though, and I believe a great many customers would concur, that a customer should not have to ask a Hardees employee on a continual basis to put soap in the restroom. Not only is this absurd, but also it's absurd for the Hardees manager from Holdenwald, Tn to repeat this out-of-soap scenario over and over again. As an ex-customer, it's my conclusion that the soap refusal, cigarette smoking manager from Holdenwald, Tn, obviously thinks standing outside chain smoking is more important than exercising her managerial duty to keep the restroom adequately supplied with hand washing soap to promote good sanitation should be replaced before she runs other long time customers away. read more
