Best medical card experience ever. Under new ownership. Was in and out in under 25 mins. Definitely would recommend.

It is not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Kim Foster helped to give me my life - AND my body -…read moreback. For years I had been struggling with severe stomach bloating and weight gain despite eating moderately and overall eating a very healthy, organic, gluten-free, Paleo-based diet. Every doctor I saw completely dismissed my symptoms - and my deep concern regarding the fact that I could hardly recognize myself anymore (I had gained a great deal of weight in the space of a few years, and my knees were so strained I could no longer participate in adult ballet classes anymore). One provider casually told me to "Take Tums" after I carefully explained some odd digestive distress I was experiencing - NOT helpful, to say the least. I knew at this point that mainstream medicine would be of no use to me at all when it came to this severe bloating I was experiencing. I found Dr. Foster via a google search. After visiting her in person and her running some comprehensive, cutting-edge tests, she confirmed what I had suspected: I was suffering from a severe case of stomach inflammation and Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), among other things. This, I realize now, was likely a result of a dying gallbladder that was interfering with my digestive processes, which I have since had taken out. After prescribing a thoughtful blend of herbal and pharmaceutical treatments, the bloating slowly began to recede over a period of two months and the weight began to come off. 6 months after seeing Dr. Foster for the first time, I am 34 pounds lighter and my stomach is flat for the first time in 10 years. I was able to resume my ballet classes and in many ways, at the post-menopausal age of 61, I truly do feel re-born. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Foster and her team, and cannot thank them enough for providing an alternative pathway to healing.

I appreciate how she is willing to partner with me in my health care and respects my needs and wishes. She is professional, knowledgeable in how the body works together (helpful in treating the root cause of health issues) and in various diagnostic tests, those tests that are gold standards and others that may be beneficial, but not necessarily mainstream. She is caring and thoroughly explains treatment options. Dr. Kim is sensitive to patient costs when considering treatment options. I followed a protocol she recommended for me and my health has greatly benefited, even keeping me from having to take recommended prescription medications.

With acupuncture, herbal medicine, and shamanic healing, I have experienced a dramatic reduction in headache frequency and severity. Dr. Kali is uniquely suited to address the needs of individuals who are struggling with brain injuries and trauma. I have seen many practicioners and few (if any) have truly attempted to address the complexities of brain injury and the assorted accompanying issues (constipation, fatigue, chronic pain, seizures, etc). I have often felt neglected and confused in the treatment I sought. By contrast, Dr. Kali provided for me a profoundly healing opportunity and experience complete with treatments, referrals, and recommendations. In addition to excellent (and effective) care, Dr. Kali has always been professional, honest, and exceptionally compassionate. I feel fortunate to have access to her services and highly recommend her to others.

I only go to a Dr 4 x a year. And that is only to check in. So why would I pay this cost. Anne Marie is compassionate, professional and someone you have no problem just talking to. She needs double pay for her therapy sessions. She's a great women's Dr. and she's a NP. Which I so highly respect over the hurried harried Doctors I've seen. If she expanded her practice she'd be busy 24/7 with women who hate going to cold impatient doctors. I do not hate going to see her. I actually look for seeing her. And in my busy life, I hate any appointments. But it's so painless to see this Dr. / NP ... If you need a doctor for general exams .... this is the lady. There's wonderful cafe coffee shops in the same building so allow yourself time to smell the coffee. Have some lunch and share your issues mental, emotional and physical with this great lady. She'll listen and take care of your needs. She refer you on if things are more serious. I'm Sure she knows other great doctors.

I was so uncomfortable I would have done anything to solve the discomfort. I phoned and she got me right in. Anne gave me an exam and suspected what I had but she wanted to run some tests. The solution did knock out the problem...but hot flashes are a no-go! So back to the drawing board. I have no bad feelings toward them at all. We have ruled out the bladder, female insides (ultrasound), other hormone issues (either normal or negative), so it's not something that can be easily fixed. I suspect that there's some sort of internal miscommunication between brain and body that can't easily be fixed, based on how my symptoms act when my symptoms were acting. Sometimes, there is no cure.

I had also brought with me to the appointment two months of daily bp readings that he never looked at. In his reply, he defended the prescriptions he wrote and acted like his opinion shouldn't be challenged. Shortly after that I found a new doctor. A young female who listened to me.

After checking…read morein and waiting 15 minutes, I approached the front desk and asked if Lisa knew I was in the building and waiting. The front desk told me that she was likely getting the room ready and would be with me in a minute. After waiting another 10 minutes, I approached the front desk again. This time the staff told me that Lisa wasn't in the building, but was on her way. The office manager came out and told me that Lisa would be arriving in 30 minutes. I asked for a refund for the co-pay that I had already paid, and I was made to wait another 5 minutes for that. Since this establishment has a no-show/late arrival policy for patients, I thought it was only reasonable that I should be compensated for the no-show/late arrival of the practitioner. However, they don't offer that reciprocity. They will charge you for no-show/late arrival, but they won't be as considerate with your time. If they don't show--or show late--you're expected to wait, without any compensation. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate! I will not go back to this clinic and I will vigorously recommend that that none of my friends and colleagues use this in-network clinic. p.s. the "one star" is only because that is required to post the review.

I filled out all their required forms on the website but it took several weeks before they could find and process them for me to book an appointment. I call and tell them I can't make this new time. The front desk says that is fine, they can change it back. I went for my first appointment. Today I get another email confirming my 2nd appointment but at the wrong time. I call back and they suddenly can no longer accommodate the original time even though they had already confirmed it so they cancel my appointment. I am not going to try again. Here's some advice for Well Balanced: if you don't want appointments made at certain times, don't have them available when you ask people to book online.

Yet, I was still in pain. Doctors told me that the pain on my left hip, knee and lower back was due to arthritis, bursitis or that I needed hip surgery. BUT, I know my body. I knew the muscles, ligaments and tendons had atrophied when I was immobile after my relapse. Since then, I've paid seven different massage therapists (supposedly adept at helping people with chronic pain), but they only made the muscles around my left hip, thigh and lower back even tighter. Determined to get back to where I was before my relapse, I kept looking for someone to help me untie the knots in my legs, hips and lower back. Then I found Jennifer on Yelp. Not only is she the best massage therapist I've ever had, I swear she is an angel from heaven. After listening to my story, she not only confirmed my own diagnoses, she has helped me tremendously in three sessions. I can now walk normally and my hips and knees bend like they are supposed to, thus alleviating pain. In time, Jennifer plans on helping me achieve what doctors and LMTs said was impossible. Not only is she in tune with my body, she has the most amazing hands. I know, with her help, I will start walking the forest trails again. This alone is a miracle. I live in the Cascade mountains, surrounded by an old growth woods in the Willamette National forest. Walking the trails is the only reason I live in Oregon. I hesitate to rave about Jennifer, because she may get so popular that she won't have appointments for me in the future, but she's too good. I had to share my story.
