This resulted in a large quantity of the toilet water going into my storage room and causing significant damage to photo albums, paper records, etc. Your man returned to reinstall the toilet. This time the drain pipe the toilet attaches to got cracked. As a result, when he left, the nuts that secure the toilet to the drain pipe could not be tightened and the caps that cover the nuts were missing. In addition, the toilet was not caulked. I immediately called Timothy back and asked if he could still do the work and use the $75 towards the cost of the repair. He agreed but later he called my property management company and said he couldnt go by the property. I waited until Monday to see if he was going to provide a quote. He never did. I called him and asked for a refund, he said he would. I also followed up with a text. I texted again earlier this week and he advised he would. Now I see he has cancelled my refund request. The tech that was sent out refused to repair a leak in my built in whirlpool tub drain stating parts were no longer available and I would need to replace the tub. So I then bought a tool needed to unscrew the tub drain strainer and used some new plumbers putty to reseal the drain, TUB FIXED. Also needed a 3/4 inch copper valve replaced and was given a quote of $341.00. I decided that was way to high and I would do the job myself. The total work time for me was 25 minutes and $14.00 for the valve. In effect I was to be charged over $600 per hour labor by the plumber!
