I called Southern Home Performance,when we found that the A/C system in our investment property (5b/4ba)was falling apart.We already had a previous company come out and perform a "home audit".they presented me with an "ungodly" quote and didn't even recommend an equipment change out!!Southern Home Performance quickly arranged a meeting with us (working with our schedule more than theirs!) to run a proper audit,with enough data to review what we needed.even though it was pretty clear to me that a new system was really the best choice.The technician explained the cost and benefits of each.Once we agreed on a plan of action,they scheduled a start date immediately ,again working with my hectic schedule.They sent out a crew that was a pleasure to deal with......courteous,knowledgeable,and hard working.Since it is an older home,there were a few surprises along the way,but Southern Home Performance and their crew worked with me to take care of them and were more than fair about any costs involved in the changes or modifications.All in all this is the kind of company that you always hope for when you make that call ...but SELDOM lucky to find.Needless to say I've found myself a new home performance company!!!! read more

I called because my a/c was not working, and to my surprise they had a service tech. show up that same day. He was very nice and friendly, explained every thing to me in detail. They offered me 3 different coices to go with on my new unit. I decided to go with a higher efficiency unit and I am extreamly happy that I did. I am saving over $100.00 a month on my power bill and the house is so much more comfortable! I have signed up on there maintence program and they are always on time to recheck my system, and install my air filter. I have worked with other heating and air companys in the past and have not been impressed. It seems that other companys treat you as a number and not as a person.
