Fritts & Jose arrived at our home early on the date and time we agreed on. They had two of our broke down units back up and running with cold air delivery again within 30 minutes. I asked for a quote to replace one of the two 25 year old condensers and heater. They analyzed our needs and I had what I believed to be a fair quote within hours. We were booked and scheduled the very next day. Simply amazing the response and red carpet treatment they delivered. The install team was equally professional and took care when entering our house to check the thermostat (they removed shoes without even being asked). Everything was left clean and in tip-top shape from the attic to the back yard. I mean these guys genuinely CARE about thier work. I have had more than a handful of undesirable experiences with contractors in our home. FRITTS HEATING AND AIR is the exception. Thank you all for a job MORE than WELL DONE.

With all these new computer driven devices there wasn't to much I could do. Checking for a blown fuse was about the extent of my trouble shooting skills so I placed a call to Fritts Heating and Air. Fritts himself (owner)showed up in the blink of an eye. A very nice easy going guy with years of knowledge and expertise. Appearing that the thermostat was bad he had to go to the warehouse to pick up a new one. Once back replacing the old one began. He let me watch and ask questions and just had and interesting conversation about anything and everything. Well strange the new one didn't work either. So after so quick troubleshooting in the basement furnace he found a defective in line fuse blown. Replacing the fuse and low and behold, success the thermostat was working. So being the nice guy he removed his unit and put the original back in. Problem solved. So in closing after spending hours in trouble shooting and traveling back and forth he only charged me for the service call. Absolutely amazing! Thank you Fritts for and awesome experience on a frustrating situation.

They were able to meet my requests to have the thermostat *not* be wifi-enabled, and they did their work quickly and effectively. Everyone I interacted with at Controlled Climate had an excellent attitude, and they went through all the details of the new system with us. What's more, however, is that I am an amateur radio operator and had concerns about the radio frequency interference that our new heat pump might generate. I was able to sit Chris, the head of the team, down with an article on how to mitigate the interference. He read it, kept it in mind during the install, and then showed me where the manufacturer had already done the work beforehand. That's a level of "above and beyond the call of duty" that I didn't necessarily expect to get. I highly recommend the Controlled Climate Services team!

After visiting a friend's house and seeing their new filter system (Honeywell Media Whole House Air Filter) I was very impressed with the installation and how it was cut into the plenum as well as the whole house humidifier. I contacted John at Atlantic and scheduled an appointment with him. He was there early, professional, didn't try to up-sell me anything in fact told me I didn't need some things. He also noticed a noise and said he'd adjust the fan while he was installing my new products. He also told me that I needed to clean my ducts first and recommended a company but was very clear he had nothing to benefit by this recommendation and use whoever I wanted. He sent me a quote the same day. I had my ducts cleaned. I ordered the Media Filters (which is not simply a filter it's like a cartridge you add into your plenum with a 5" filter that slides in and out) and he sent two team members over to install my filters. They were early and professional. They did a good job. I had one issue with one of the systems after they left and called on a Saturday. Susan, John's wife, answered and sent John over immediately and hit a reset button - and showed me how to do it in the future. What service! Let's just say my system and wiring were enough to give anyone a headache, but Connor took the bull by the horns and got everything figured out and working properly. Even though he came out for routine AC maintenance, he also noticed something major with my furnace that could have easily gone unnoticed. I truly appreciate his attention to detail and the fact that he didn't just do the job he was called for and leave. He genuinely cared about making sure everything was safe and working the way it should. Connor is truly a blessing, and I'm so glad I found Guardian on Angi's List!
