Sundae with vanilla and pumpkin spice custard. graham crackers and caramel sauce - with whipped cream and a cherry on top (of course)
    Tina S.

I have been going to this place for years and realized that I should probably write a review. So here goes... The custard is delicious. They usually have 3 flavors "on tap" - vanilla, chocolate, and the flavor of the day. Service is quick and friendly. Since it's in a strip mall, parking is easy. And the best part - it's open late! Until 10 on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. There's a few tables inside and a few outside. It's always amusing to see all the folks rush in to get their custard fix mere minutes before closing. We've never cut it that close but it's good to know they'll welcome you in even if you show up then.

Southern Custard is a good custard spot, but nothing particularly special. The baseline options of custard are limited, but there are a number of ways of customizing your pick, from making sundae to adding a few toppings. It can get busy, but the staff members are nice. There's some outside and inside seating. The inside is small and a little cramped but at least an option in colder weather.

Wow! Best icecream ever! The custard is so creamy and delicious and the prices are soo good. The staff is friendly and they have seating inside and outside.

This place is tucked in a ritzy shopping center and apartment complex with gratuitously sparse parking; several spots were designated specifically for short-term frozen custard parking. They offer vanilla and chocolate and one rotating flavor, which when I dropped in was a splendid salted caramel that delivered just the right hint of salt. They had the options for toppings and sundaes, but it was a bit strange that they didn't have a banana split or a greater flavor variety. Not much for those avoiding dairy or egg either. But it was tasty and a good price.

Custard is really good, but the Leica was a bit on the higher end! They usually have vanilla and chocolate and then flavor of the day. You can choose extra toppings for extra 75 cents.

    Butterfinger and chocolate custard

This is a great spot! They have vanilla and chocolate custard plus a new flavor everyday. When I went they had butterfinger which was super tasty. Their custard has a great texture to it and next time, I'll try it in a cone. A small was 3.95 plus .75 cents for toppings. It's a great price for the amount you get and the taste.

Must try if you like unique flavors that change daily/weekly They also have the classics that are a safe bet Service is quick and staff are always friendly

Vanilla custard in a waffle set in a cup. I am not a toppings person but they have a wide selection to choose from.

This is an excellent custard bar. It is natural and rich tasting without being overly sweet. I have been eating custard here for nearly seven years. I have never found a place like this even in my home city of New York. If you try it you will return.

A little too melty for my liking but all in all pretty good frozen custard. I got the marble swirl and it tasted pretty decent. I would not say its the best I have ever had but not bad

Do they serve chocolate dip cones here?

They did not seem to have any chocolate dipped cones when I was there, but they had waffle cones and cake cones as well as fudge

Is this a black owned business?

It is not, but it is family owned.

I also enjoyed their ube flavor, but it fell just a little short on the strength of the flavor, especially when eating it side by side with the honey walnut blueberry. It was a bit of a wait since this Morelli's seems to also be managed by Farm Burger employees, and the lady behind the counter was making a bunch of milkshakes. Despite the busyness, the employee was so kind and patient, letting me try a couple samples and answering my questions. What makes this location great is if you order from Farm Burger, you can ask for a complimentary $1 off coupon to use on the same day at the Morelli's! I'd say the ice cream is definitely worth if you get that $1 off coupon. You do not have to dine in at Farm Burger to have access to the Morelli's.

It wasn't overly sweet and had a rich flavor where you can enjoy the strawberry, raspberry, and blueberries mixed in. During the mixing process, they use nitrogen to continuously freeze your icecream. They also have options to use waffle cone variations as your cup. There are few seats inside the store to enjoy your treat there, but I've seen most customers order to go. If you do decide to dine in, it's fairly quiet, so I'd say it's a nice place to enjoy some icecream and chit chat. Certainly will be back here when I visit Atlanta again.

She listened, helped me figure out what to order, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. She made the experience pleasant from the start, and I even tipped because of how helpful she was. Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. The woman who handed me my sundae gave it to me quickly and walked away without asking if I needed anything else. The cherry on top was falling off, but by the time I noticed, she was gone. As I sat enjoying my dessert, I noticed her interactions with other customers also felt rushed and short, almost as if she didn't want to be there. Each time she gave out an order, she immediately shut the window, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. The ice cream itself was good, and the cashier at the front deserves recognition for her excellent customer service. However, customer care is just as important as the product, and the way my sundae was handed off--and how others were treated--left me with a negative impression overall.

Interior wise, it's cute. It tries to invoke a sense of Japanese aesthetic with the shoji panels, all the wood and light, the fake flowers, and I don't hate it. It's a fine place to sit and chat, though I feel bad for others who want to visit because again, the parking here sucks. I got their black sesame latte float with a matcha and sakura (seasonal flavor) swirl. The sakura was sweeter than anticipated and not floral, which was a bit disappointing since I didn't like it alone or mixing with the matcha flavor. The black sesame portion was fine. I like the nuttiness of black sesame in general, and I would've loved if they used more for a stronger flavor. The flavor was subtle, and with the ice and soft serve on top, got easily diluted.
