A late night, early morning situation, we were surprised to find that they are open 24/7. A worker emerged from the back and greeted us a few seconds after we walked in. We ordered a half dozen donuts and a coffee. Unfortunately, they were out of the red velvet and sweet potato donuts. My favorite donut - Oreo Least favorite - Apple Fritter The coffee wasn't good at all and it was luke warm. They didn't have any sugar, only Splenda sweetener. I like the convenience of them being open 24 hrs but I don't see myself coming back now that I have tried their donuts...unless nothing else is open in the area. We spent $30 for a half dozen and a coffee, it just wasn't worth it.

My apartment complex provided free donuts from this establishment. What a great way to honor donut day! It was so hard to pick one as they all looked so fluffy and sweet. I opted for their Boston cream, which was perfect! Would love to try many of their other flavors, especially being so close to me.

As much as I love cupcakes, I love donuts even more. When I need a quick fix or wish to shower my colleagues with sweet treats, I head to Sublime Doughnuts Druid Hills. Sublime is a bakeshop with two brick-and-mortar locations (Druid Hills and Briarcliff and near Georgia Tech) specializing in unique flavor combinations. It is open 24/7 to satisfy anyone's sugar cravings. My household's box usually starts with original glazed, Honey Glazed Bowtie, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Apple Fritter, Cinnamon Swirl, Maple Bacon, and Strawberries and Cream. Then we usually ask the staff members for their picks to complete the box. If I am feeling really brazen, I'll go for the one with Fruity Pebbles!

Came here for some coffee and doughnuts. This venue is not on the main road and it looks closed at night but it is definitely open since it is a 24/7 establishment. They have a dim lit sign that shows they are open. I ordered the Fresh strawberries and cream doughnut, nutella doughnut, and oreo doughnut. The strawberries was the best donut and actually had fresh strawberries in it. The Oreo has plenty of oreo crumbles but is not spectacular. The nutella tastes great but will take all the moisture out your mouth. The doughnuts are decent and it did the job. The staff was kool and fast with service.

The donuts are good on preference. First time I visited I got two dozens for coworkers party. Previously I never tried them. I been back like 2 or 3 times maybe after. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. It's like you have to try to see which donuts you like the best. It's great to see them have success and a great following. My cousin was in town and I know that she likes strawberries so I got some of the strawberry cream donuts and I got a white chocolate peach donut and 2 A donuts cream filled. Cream is there but not fully filled like other donuts I had. Donuts price are like twice of other Donut places.

I have no complaints these donuts were fantastic, fresh as well. Here's what I ordered and my take on each one: Orange Dream Star - VERY tart, doesn't taste much like orange. Cream filled. Yum! Yum! Yum !! I say! Sublime Doughnuts are simply just that: sublime! As a lover of most things sweet, it goes without saying that I enjoy a good gourmet doughnut. The sweeter the better in my book! Though this was not my first occasion visiting Sublime Doughnuts, this was my first opportunity of capturing the doughnuts before devouring them. A fan of their fruity pebbles and Oreo doughnuts (which are pictured) I also finally got the chance to try their strawberry shortcake doughnuts and it didn't disappoint!! The doughnut are a great size. There isn't a lack on the toppings / fillings and if you don't have a big sweet tooth, they are great to share! The restaurant itself is usually pretty quiet with minimal to no lines / wait time. The staff is super kind and prompt. And they are also open late (2:00AM to be exact) so you can scratch that sweet tooth itch into the wee hours if needed. Price point is to expected for gourmet doughnuts but very much worth it in my book. Not pictured but was pretty good was the peach cobbler fritter. However, the peach topping was a bit too light for me. Would have preferred to taste more of the peach cobbler topping. The dough was nice and flaky though. Beyond that, all good! Also, before I close this out, they do offer ice cream and coffee and other beverages. Have yet to have a bad doughnut yet! So, Sublime Doughnuts is highly recommended!!

Sublime was introduced to me years ago. I have always had a very positive experience visiting. A friend and I went on a late night donut run. She had never been. I really dislike bragging on a place and service not be what you said. Here we go. We stopped at the Briarcliff location around 11pm last night. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. Not visible from the main road, but Waze takes you right there. It sits in the plaza behind Walgreens off Briarcliff. If you see Target, you have gone down too far coming from the highway away from downtown. Love the changes to the inside of the establishment! Love the decor. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The girl who helped us asked if we had been before. My friend said no. She pointed to the donuts readily available and the donut menu. Note readily available. She tells us the special of $1 off if u buy 12. Anyway, my friend starts selecting donuts. The girl is entering them. She asks about the Atown donut. I wanted 2, and she wanted 2. The girl at the other register is taking an order. That person took 2 of the Atown donuts. I said well now there are only 2. Are there more in the back? The girl not helping us says I can make more when I get my line down. It will be 5 to 7 minutes. I said okay. My friend asked for another donut. The girl helping us says we are out. We are paying. The other girl has a customer ask about the same donut my friend did. She says I do not mind making more donuts. You would just need to wait a few minutes. They say never mind. It was frustrating to have our person not offer this at all. Again, a negative experience was created about a place I bragged about. One employee is very helpful and willing to fill in orders. The other only offers what is visible to the eye. The second point of frustration was the actual donut. She made mine and brought them. I ate one in the car. I was a good 60% done with the donut before I got any of the cream filling. She barely put any filling in either of my Atown donuts. I was disappointed. I hadn't been in a while, and it was late. However, I hope these issues are addressed. I can't refer a business with a great product, usually but inconsistent service. $40 spent and not feeling the best about the purchase.

We used to love getting donuts from Sublime as a treat whenever we visit Atlanta, but there's clear signs it's just not what it used to be. I wish we had looked at current reviews before trusting previous experiences. We brought home a half dozen, as well as a half dozen for my parents, and it was a full dozen of disappointment. I was hoping the first two we tried was just an outlier, but 4 out of 6 were hard and stale, and one was raw in the middle! The ATown cream was literally the only edible donut in the box. It's a shame to spend $40+ on a treat that's barely edible. I reached out to the owner via Facebook (the only contact I could find) and curious to see what the response is. Stale and undercooked food from an $$ establishment is unacceptable.

We were looking for a late-night sweet treat while visiting and found this gem that was open late. The donuts were great with a nice variety, everything we tried was fresh and tasted amazing. One thing to note: entering the business could be intimidating for some, as there was a homeless individual outside who appeared to have urinated on himself, and customers had to walk past him to get inside. It didn't bother my family and me, but others may choose not to stop because of this. read more

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Sublime Doughnuts. At one point, they were my absolute favorite doughnuts in the Atlanta area, but this location has become less than desirable. The last two times I have purchased donuts, they have been stale and the selection was very limited. In addition, the staff on hand at this store leaves a lot to be desired; zero customer service skills, and zero kindness/courtesy. read more

I went to Sublime yesterday to grab my two favorites: the Reese's Cup and the Strawberries & Cream. This place used to have the best doughnuts in Atlanta (keywords: used to). The service was fine, the place was clean, they get points for that. But let's talk about the doughnuts. I started with the Reese's Cup, which tasted like it had been marinating on the counter since last Tuesday. Paying $3+ for a doughnut that could double as a hockey puck? Not acceptable. I should have asked for a refund, but honestly, the poor employee making minimum wage didn't deserve to be the middleman for this pastry crime. Then came the Strawberries & Cream. I took one bite and immediately thought: "Ah, yes, the delicate flavor of expired milk." Nothing says treat yourself like wondering if you'll need Pepto Bismol after dessert. I even tried reaching out to the owners, but apparently, they're too busy doing... whatever it is you do when your business is circling the drain. Judging from the other recent reviews, I'm not alone here. So yeah, don't waste your money. Sublime went from "best in Atlanta" to "might give you food poisoning." Nothing gold (or glazed) can stay. I definitely won't be back. read more

Walk in to purchase some donuts there were nets flying around in the donut cases. I asked the cashier if she knew there were bugs flying around in the cases she said you mean the nets! I turned around and walked out without purchasing anything. read more

What a fall from grace. this location was never as good as the original, but it was a small difference, noticed by the people who really cared. it was still a place where the doughnuts were great. Today, it's dirty floors and counters, scratched and dinged up walls and furniture, empty display cases and abandoned ice cream showcases. the doughnuts were stale and the icing dry and poorly applied. The counter person had to be called out of the back, and then was so distracted that I had to ask for one doughnut three times. As far as I know, the Tech location is still great, but sadly this one that is so much easier to get to isn't a place I want to go anymore. I home they can get this place back on solid footing. read more

I went today with my daughter to this location to grab a few donuts for the family. What stood out is that the lighting was a dim the donuts weren't in stock fully in the bathroom and cleanliness decor did not feel inviting nor clean. However, the hostess was really nice. Did not try to upsell. It was just very to the point. I'm not sure after going to the restroom that I will want to eat here again. read more

No complaints!! I was afraid from the reviews that they would be on the dry side but all were super moist and delicious (might depend on time of day - these were picked up around 8 AM). Very rich and filling too, so even though it was $20 for 6, my boyfriend and I were full after a few bites. The lady at the front convinced us to get the orange donut even though we were hesitant about cream cheese. So glad she recommended - it was super yummy! You order at the counter for your donuts. A good variety of flavors and some unique. Some flavors are great and some not as good as expected. The a town Boston cream is amazing but the banana fritter was disappointing. Sign at the counter if you order 6, you can get a dollar off. Not as inexpensive as some other area donut places. read more

I like coming to sublime whenever I'm near their locations but tonight I had the worst experience and unfortunately I don't think I will be coming back! First of the place looks a mess inside like there's no upkeep and the lady working tonight was on her phone talking for at least 10 minutes before she even said anything and even when she got off her phone she still didn't say anything. I asked her a few questions about the donuts and pricing and she was very not helpful and then to top it off when I finally got the chance to eat a donut the one I took a bite from had plastic IN IT!!!! Worst experience with customer service and worst experience with their donuts. read more

I gave them another chance and went back there the 2nd time. This time, the customer service was good, but the doughnuts were so dried. I went around 12:30pm. I got 1 dozen and half a dozen. I assumed they were sitting out since the early morning. I'm not going back anymore. They got 2 chances, and they blew it. Overall: Too expensive, customer service is unpredictable, and the quality is also unpredictable. read more

I decided to pick up from here on my way back home from a business trip after finding on a list declaring them the best doughnuts in Atlanta. I chose the signature A-Town Cream and Mocha as well as several of the fritters that seemed unique. We have gotten these donuts for our friends birthday a few times, and they are so tasty and have a variety of flavors and are made well. It can be a little slow waiting in line for people to pick their flavors and contemplate the variety of flavors, so looking at the offerings ahead of time or ordering ahead of time can do you and others a lot of good. I used to come here all the time, but stopped to eat more healthier and not "treat myself" to sweets too frequently. I also would only come during late nights... But every time I walked through the door, the staff member working was happy to recommend donuts and serve me well. Most of the options I enjoyed, there might have been 1 or 2 that weren't my favorite. I would say Sublime is an Atlanta staple and that if you're new (or have been here multiple years), you must try it at least once. read more

Friday Urban Picnics is run by the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, and held every last Friday of the month from March to October, 11-2pm. Location is the back of Sweet Auburn Curb Market. At today's picnic, I arrived around 11:45 and lucked out with finding a parking spot. Lines were very short too - but that all changed after 12. Good Food Truck and Yumbii were probably the most popular. Westside Creamery, The Pop Shop (or maybe it was The Pop Stop), and Black Tie BBQ were there, too. I think almost all items were under $10. Today I had Good Food's $5 Poodle which was to die for: French Toast hot dog bun, beef dog, apple maple slaw, ... and then they strongly encourage you to add maple syrup and spicy mustard. Whoa that was really yummy - messy to eat though and I had sticky fingers afterwards from the maple syrup but no complaints from me :) Next time I'm trying one of their savory cones filled w/ all kinds of goodies! The Indian rice crispy treat sounded intriguing, too (curry, coconut, and candied fennel seeds)! For dessert I had a $3 generous scoop of Westside Creamery's bourbon & bacon ice cream. Just a hint of bourbon flavor and surprisingly thick pieces of bacon throughout - honestly I was expecting bacon-infused flavor but my bad for expecting anything else but the real thing!! They had some great flavors to choose but I went with bourbon & bacon since the Westside guy said it was his favorite. I've already marked my calendar to make a field trip to the next several picnics b/c there are too many new things to try! Some tips: Bring cash. If you're lucky enough to find parking in the Sweet Auburn parking lot, it's free w/ validation - look for the table outside that validates tickets. Otherwise make a purchase inside to get parking validation. When I was driving back to work, I also found free parking available under the interstate - free for the first 90 minutes.

To top off the night, we had the vanilla gelato, which was a really nice, creamy touch. On top of the great food and service, the ambiance and overall aesthetic of the space are stunning. I'll definitely be coming back!

We went to the amazing Atlanta aquarium, and the Yard is a short walk away. The menu is a good size, and there are a good variety of options, we had a hard time choosing. It was not very busy during our visit, considering how involved the shakes are to make, we did not want too long. Our group of three each got a milkshake jar. They are pretty pricy, you do get to keep the jar. I had the salted Carmel cheesecake. There was a bit too much whip cream. The shake itself was very good. It was topped with a peice of cheesecake, which was still frozen. I was not a fan of it frozen, we ended up taking some of the dessert toppings home, and the cheesecake was good later. I was surprised my niece did not finish her Brookie Batter, she said it was too chocolate. I tried it, and it was too intense with the cocoa. They had a washing station if you get a jar shake to clean it and take it home.

I had a special custom order for a baby gender reveal, for donuts to be spelled out. However 30 minutes before the shower I received a phone call from sublime telling me that my order was overlooked and would not be ready in time. I had placed the order more than 24 hours in advance as instructed . I understand people make mistakes, however this was a really big one. The manager told me he could give me a refund or give me the donuts (not in letter format). This day was really special and a cloud was just kind of put on it due to this mistake on sublime's part. After a lot of back and forth, I ended up telling them I would just take the donuts since I didn't want to go empty handed. I had to actually tell the manager I didn't want to be charged, and he said he could waive the cost. He didn't actually offer this up himself. I also think if I had made a very big mistake like this, as a manager, I would have done more to make it right. Others store may waive the cost in addition to giving you a gift card or something. That was wasn't offered. Needless to say, I was disappointed especially for the amount of business I have given Sublime in the past. read more

Real excited that the Briarcliff store opened. Made a trip down on Saturday evening after a movie and how disappointed I was. They have a great menu, but only a handful of donuts were available. Now I understand that they could not possibly have everything all the time, but it was even hard to find a dozen that I wanted to buy and about 10 people walked in behind us. Got home and ate a chocolate chocolate donut and to tell you the truth, it wasn't any better than Kripsy Kreme but it was twice the price. I guess I expected more. Will try it again. By the way, the manager is a bitch! She was more concerned about splitting tips than helping customers. read more

Wow! This place has really turned around in the last several months, they must have new management because the store looks SO MUCH MORE clean, the donuts seem more fresh, and the staff is even more friendly and helpful than before. So happy one of my old favorites has finally stepped up their game. I spoke to a guy, I think his name was Zach, and would return based on his service alone! Way to go Sublime! This place is awesome!! Try the Strawberries and Cream doughnut, absolutely the best doughnut I ever had. The line was long but when you get to the counter, the servers were awesome and friendly. They didn't rush me or give me an attitude which often happens in a busy environment. My boyfriend had like 3 different one including the Oreo one and loved each one. My recent experience with the late-night staff was extremely disappointing. The individual working during that shift was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, which made me reconsider supporting this establishment. I believe customer service is a reflection of a business's values, and as long as this person represents the brand, I won't be returning. read more

My favorite place to get donuts in Atlanta. The location is very convenient and the donuts are always SO fresh, no matter what time you come in. They have such a wide variety of donuts to choose from, so there's always something for everyone's tastes. They even offer iced coffees and hot chocolates too. My go to place for desserts in Atlanta... I have been to the place at different times of the day and they managed to keep the doughnuts fresh every single time. The store is very clean and well maintained. My favorite doughnut there is the Strawberries & Cream. Must try! read more
