Best cookies in town! My kids love going to Ali's as a special treat. These cookies are beyond amazing too, every variety is amazing (though my favorite is Red Velvet). My kids love drawing on the tables while we eat. So happy to have this shop nearby!

We love supporting great businesses that not only serve amazing cookies but they stand up for what is right and good. Thank you Ali's.

We searched out Ali's Cookies because not only did we hear they had great cookies but because the owners stand up for what is right and stand up for good over evil in this world! We bought a couple cookies and heated them up for immediate attention and bought a 1/2 dozen to go to bring as a gift to a friend's home. We hope they share them too Am Yisrael Chai!

Service: Cashier was friendly and attentive. It wasn't busy when I went in (Tuesday at 4 pm) so I was in and out. Ambiance: Immediate smell of fresh baked cookies upon entering. Small and quaint, but had indoor and outdoor seating for guests. Food: I had the Trip Chip cookie and Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. The ice cream, was well ice cream. Not special about it. Now that Triple Chip cookie was good. Wasn't as soft as I would have preferred, but it was cool. Would recommend warming it first for the full experience. Overall: Would recommend- definitely try out the variety of cookie selections they offer. Right by Emory University- so if you're in the area, stop by

It's a hot day in northern Georgia and this visitor to Emory University needs some relief. Where did I go? I got it at Ali's. I wasn't sure at first. It wasn't the most charming spot, but I'm glad that I dived in. I started with hand-dipped Hershey's Mint and Chocolate Ice creams. I topped it off with an oatmeal cookie. Perfect. I'm ready to face the day again!

Coconut macaroons -one day old discount 4 for $6-a steal!

Ali's had been our place to go for cookie cakes which we bring to the kids' school when their birthday falls on a school day. I picked up four chocolate chip pecan and four coconut macaroons for $12 since I got the day old. I love coming here and checking out the day old selection which are on a shell on the right at the back of the shop. It is such a good value and we demolish the cookies with 24 hours, or else I will freeze if I get greedy and get too many. Staff is friendly and even ran out the store to give a man his bag of treats which he forgot! It was a chill atmosphere on an early Saturday evening. They also have ice cream which is a tasty treat as well!

    Hard as rocks !

So I went in today 3:00pm and tired the day old cookies and mind you I've been to this cookie spot several times for several years and I know what a day old cookies taste like.. and there's no way in hell these were day old cookies they were hard as rocks !! They should be ashamed of saying the cookies were 1 day old that's a lie! I was very disappointed I will not try them again or believe the workers or owners again . Just bypass the lies over on the side ( 1 day old cookies)

Lots of cookie choices with more not pictured of the other half of the counter.

Even though the hubs and I wandered here around 7:30 PM on a Sat evening, they still had a good selection of cookies to choose from. They were also bringing freshly baked ones out. We ended up with half a baker's dozen (7 cookies) that came out to be $15 (rounded up with tax). I particularly liked my picks of the berries and cream, Southern red velvet, toffee crunch, and triple chip. All were very unique in their own ways and gave me a wowing sensation after each bite. The cookies were still great the next day and also the following. We were piggies and definitely ordered more than we could consume in one evening. Why not, we're supporting a local business. And business at this location has died more significantly due to Emory being online. Customer service was so so. Were they polite? Yes. But were they genuine or looked like they cared to be there? No. But whatever. The cookies were great: chewy, soft, and flavors galore.

    S'mores cookie. My fav

One of our top cookie spots in ATL. I always go for their s'mores cookies. One of the most unique s'mores cookies Ive ever had. We've been coming here faithfully for the past 7 years and the quality of the cookies continues to be great . My kids are also addicted to their cookies and we usually have a good interaction with the staff.

This makes the ice cream taste more on the icy side and it doesn't taste like ice cream. It tastes more along the lines of a creamy popsicle. This place makes their ice cream rolls taste like ice cream. I was absolutely SHOOK! The flavor was there and it was so creamy. Honestly, these are creamier than most store-bought ice cream tubs. it has a velvety nice smooth texture when you try to eat it. Yes they are still in rolls, but as soon as you put it on your tongue, it me melts like a real creamy ice cream. The owner actually explained to us that she also doesn't like rolled up ice cream that taste more on the Icey side, so she made sure that her dairy rolls were actually creamy. They do have nondairy options, but those will be on the ICE side. Nondairy milk tends to be water and plant or nut based. I really appreciated how welcoming the staff was. Shout out to this friendly black owned, and women owned small businesses really welcoming the Atlanta community! I love finding small businesses that have amazing service and quality food! Friday Urban Picnics is run by the Atlanta Street Food Coalition, and held every last Friday of the month from March to October, 11-2pm. Location is the back of Sweet Auburn Curb Market. At today's picnic, I arrived around 11:45 and lucked out with finding a parking spot. Lines were very short too - but that all changed after 12. Good Food Truck and Yumbii were probably the most popular. Westside Creamery, The Pop Shop (or maybe it was The Pop Stop), and Black Tie BBQ were there, too. I think almost all items were under $10. Today I had Good Food's $5 Poodle which was to die for: French Toast hot dog bun, beef dog, apple maple slaw, ... and then they strongly encourage you to add maple syrup and spicy mustard. Whoa that was really yummy - messy to eat though and I had sticky fingers afterwards from the maple syrup but no complaints from me :) Next time I'm trying one of their savory cones filled w/ all kinds of goodies! The Indian rice crispy treat sounded intriguing, too (curry, coconut, and candied fennel seeds)! For dessert I had a $3 generous scoop of Westside Creamery's bourbon & bacon ice cream. Just a hint of bourbon flavor and surprisingly thick pieces of bacon throughout - honestly I was expecting bacon-infused flavor but my bad for expecting anything else but the real thing!! They had some great flavors to choose but I went with bourbon & bacon since the Westside guy said it was his favorite. I've already marked my calendar to make a field trip to the next several picnics b/c there are too many new things to try! Some tips: Bring cash. If you're lucky enough to find parking in the Sweet Auburn parking lot, it's free w/ validation - look for the table outside that validates tickets. Otherwise make a purchase inside to get parking validation. When I was driving back to work, I also found free parking available under the interstate - free for the first 90 minutes.
