This is a nice little ice cream spot. It has maybe three or four coolers full of ice cream flavors to pick from, and they can do shakes or scoops or whatever you need. The staff was super nice and super friendly, and I appreciated that. First time I was there, I just walked through when I was going to the store, and I stopped by and got a shake. You can get a shake in whatever ice cream you want. It's about $9 for the shake itself, and it was good. The ice cream I've tasted was good all the way around. The only thing is, for $9 or $10 I would have expected a larger cup, and it felt like it was either medium or small to me. We tried the Cassatta, some Kesar Pista ice cream and the Shahi Falooda, all of which were excellent. I'm thankful for Donovan for helping us choose these desserts because I would have had zero clue. My favorite was the Cassatta, which was similar to an ice cream cake, with three different flavors of ice cream. I would say the one con to this place is the limited seating. There is a pretty big open space inside and outside but there wasn't any good seating to enjoy our desserts. We wanted to try an Indian version of ice cream Kwality happens to be a well known franchise out of india. We ordered one of their signature falooda kulfis Falooda kulfi in addition to kulfi(indian ice cream) includes noodles and several other flavors. Typically includes milk and you eat the kulfi and sip away the exploding sweet flavors. This version with one small scoop was very expensive with watered down flavors. I've come here a few times whenever I visited Atlanta, and since I moved back, will def go back regularly. I had a scoop of the paan, which is prob my favorite ice cream ever now. This is such delicious ice cream and offers many creative flavors. It is in the Publix shopping center at the corner of Abernathy and Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs. This is unlike your typical ice cream shop. They offer basic flavors from chocolate to vanilla to strawberry, but also offer mango kulfi, lychee to other different flavors! It's definitely ice cream but with an Indian flare to it. They offer 3 samples and I went with guava ice cream in a cup. A surprising little treasure nestled in a strip mall flanked by restaurants, this little ice cream parlor serves up vegetarian ice cream desserts, and I honestly did not know that it was vegetarian to begin with. I was looking for a nearby dessert place near me at the time, and this place happened to pop up. It was located on a plaza near Publix in Sandy Springs. Before I walked inside, I can see there was already a long line; apparently, there was only one person working behind the counter so it made sense why the line was so backed up. I got in line and saw the vast variety of ice cream flavors they had to offer. What caught my eyes was strawberry and mango; I did not even bother asking for a sample. I just went in with a blind eye and ordered the strawberry and mango on a sugar cone without knowing what taste it has to offer. I took my first bite, and I was speechless. The ice cream was not your typical ice cream where you can get at a grocery store; it was soft like a sorbet and did not melt as quickly as regular ice cream. I am not the fastest eater because I like to enjoy every bite I take and experience the full potential of flavor the food has to offer. After almost finishing the ice cream, it did become a bit too sweet in the end; but that is normal if you eat something sweet after a certain of period. Overall, my experience was wonderful. The inside of the store was a bit warm, so I would not recommend wearing too many layers if you happen to get stuck behind a long waiting line. Kwality Ice Cream does sell ice cream cakes, sundaes, and Falooda; accordingly to the picture on the menu, a Falooda reminded me of a milkshake. Kwality makes their ice cream naturally with no eggs, 100% vegetarian, and natural flavors. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon! read more

The petty grammar nerd in me always questions businesses that opt for "creative" ways of spelling words. This place brings back memories of my childhood in India with flavors like cassatta, mava kulfi and paan masala. We got all the three flavors mentioned and falooda ice cream which I felt had too much rose ice cream and not enough kulfi. The paan masala is so good, its just like eating a paan with bits of the betel leaf in it. I didnt enjoy the cassatta as much but the mava kulfi was seriously good and we got a pint to go as well. They really need to add a bit more seating and it seemed that people serving seemed a little frazzled by the crowd but I am sure they will get used to it because this place rocks! read more

Lovely little place that I wouldn't have found on my own. I thought they only made cakes and ice cream cakes but I was told by friend they have ice cream. Based on the name, it is inspired by the Indian ice cream chain and offers plenty of Indian flavors, including custard apple, lychee, pan masala, mango kulfi, pistachio kulfi and others. The rule is they only give you 2 tasting spoons of flavors; for those unaware, Indian people tend to get unlimited tastes and then decide to not buy ice cream. yes shady but that's generally Indian people's idea behind unlimited tastings. When we walked into the ice cream parlour; both my partner and I agreed, we'd try as many flavors as possible before deciding, and offered the woman behind the counter money for a whole scoop for my extra tastings. She was gracious, of course. Having tried all the flavors I wanted to, I chose malai kulfi (over mawa kulfi) because of its creaminess and heightened cream flavor. Half way into the ice cream, I did think it was a little sweeter than I like my malai kulfi. My partner got the lychee ice cream and then a pint of custard apple to go. Indian ice creams have a richer, thicker base and creamier flavor, which is why we're fans of this place. I am coming back for the fig and walnut ice cream, for sure! Side note: I think the woman behind the counter was annoyed with my tastings and pointed to the sign of 2 tastes only; at which point I offered her to pay for a scoop if she wanted. I get it, rules are rules but if I am willing to pay I should be able to taste more than 2! That wasn't pleasant but otherwise everyone was very nice and friendly, including the woman. Since it is so hot outside, I'd suggest they have seating outside because nothing like sitting outside with our favorite ice cream. This place is a hidden gem. Owned and run by an Indian couple, they have Indian flavored ice creams here. And they are delectable. They are also vegan, which is a huge plus. My only criticism is they should have a poster or list or something explaining what the Indian flavors are. They also have American flavors which I haven't tried yet but I assume are just as good.
