I never write reviews but taking the time to give the folks at Meltaway the recognition they deserve. First time in and was greeted with smiles. The ice cream is easily the best I've had in Atlanta. It's closer to something you would get at craft shops in NYC. You can tell it's all homemade and see the passion for what they serve. We had the passion fruit yogurt, honeycomb caramel, tiramisu and hazelnut choco crisp. All would recommend. This was our first visit but will definitely not be the last! read more

We drove an hour to check this place out and boy was it worth it!!! I am a huge ice cream fan and this was truly THE BEST ICE CREAM I EVER HAD. They have literally ruined me for other ice cream. We tried just about every flavor and it was nearly impossible to choose the top 3. I happily went with the roasted strawberry, the blueberry goat cheese and the banana pudding. Just went for my first time. With my BIL that lives here. I was AMAZED!! The flavor from the ice cream (each ice cream) screams with each bite. I had the blueberry lavender, roasted strawberry and the gooey butter cake. Trust me, you'll be surprise by the "real" flavor with every bite. And the longer it lingers on your tongue, the more flavor there is. And don't get me started on the cookies. We tried the coconut caramel chocolate chip cookie.
