The search for the best ice cream in Georgia is over, no need to travel all over and try different places in search for the best ice cream. This BANANA CREAM PUDDIN ice cream from @scoopjoyicecreamery was so amazing, I literally could not believe it. My buddy @evans1091 was also in disbelief. Greg and the Mrs run this place and they are AWESOME as well, they really go above and beyond to make sure their ice cream is top notch. The place itself is of course neat and clean, only problem I had is the ice cream is NOT unlimited... you'll unfortunately sooner or later find yourself taking your last bite, at which point you'll be sad Scoop Joy has been in Suwanne for 2.5 years... shame I missed them for so long. Check them out! #Rolieats #icecream #scoopjoy #scoopjoyicecreamery #bananacreampuddin #besticecream #suwannee #wow #newfavorite https://youtube.com/shorts/uF4eulK5mwk?si=2b33hi7CtXPzMnt1 read more

I've been craving ice cream for a week so we stopped in while out running errands. This is a simple little shop. We were greeted nicely upon walking in and I got to sample a few flavors before deciding what I wanted. I decided to do the latte and the chocolate. The waffle cone is ALOT of ice cream. I really should have gotten something smaller, but it was delightful. My husband got a sugar cone and the banana pudding flavor I think it was. He said it was good but he wished it was just a little more banana-y. Good ice cream and you get a lot for the price. read more

We walked in on a Saturday at 7:00 and there wasn't a soul in the parking lot or inside. We visited based on it being considered one of the 100 best ice cream stores in the country. Such a joke! It's ice cream was icey and average at best. I have no idea where this national fiction comes from, but I would skip this place if you like good ice cream. read more

This place is truly what it says. It is Amazing and the flavors are good. Banana crème pudding is the best flavor in our opinion plz try this ice cream! read more

Not terrible. But I got 5 scoops in a small cone. I also saw a person next to me get an ice cream taco expecting three scoops, but they got nine. read more

Man we had high hopes for this place and drove 20 min after my daughters soccer game for a treat. I think they have reasonable prices and great selection of offerings. However, the execution really fell short. I got an affogato with chocolate haze and the ice cream was SO icy. Literal chunks of ice in every bite and very unpleasant so I just had to let it all melt before drinking it. Got my daughter a vanilla cake cone with rainbow sprinkles and was told the sprinkles weren't sticking very well to the ice cream. A big bummer for my daughter cause the sprinkles are her favorite part. Staff seems young and inexperienced and were apologetic about these issues but didn't exactly offer any solutions (like remaking the affogato) or discounts for the situation. Sadly will not be back. read more

It was great ice cream and service was great as well. I searched and was going to go back but said did not open till 5:00 PM.

What a refreshing change... this location was clean clean clean! I mean super clean. It didn't hurt that everything is white and chrome. It just looks super clean! The ice cream was good... the selection is not wide but it is good. They offer a ice cream panini here that I have never seen I Didn't try it this time but will the next I got the blue berry... it was super good... but the cups are a bit small and so are the scoops. My wife got the banana pudding and my boys got cookies and cream and vanilla. Everyone enjoyed the ice cream. Not a big place and not a lot of seating so be prepared if they are busy you won't have room to sit. Service was hit and miss... one girl was stand-offish while the other was helpful. It was almost as if the one was mad.. she wouldn't even look at us. But the one that ended up serving us was very helpful. She was so patient as we asked for sample after sample to try their flavors. This was a nice change and somewhere I would go back to if we are in the area again. read more

Really yummy and creamy ice cream. Selection is just big enough to find something you like, but not at all overwhelming. Worth the drive from Alpharetta and we will be back. read more

There really isn't a bad choice at this place, no matter what your tastes are. All of the ice creams and sherberts are creamy, flavorful, and handmade by the owners. They will let you taste any flavor and make recommendations so that you get exactly what you're looking for and happy. I wish I could give this place 10 stars! This is definitely our new favorite icecream spot in the area! Upon waking in, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. We tried most of the flavors and they were all so good! I ended up ordering the banana pudding milkshake and my husband ordered the Oreo and cosmic brownie fluff (I think was the name) combined in a milkshake. They were so good! They also include a drizzle of chocolate, caramel or marshmallow inside the cup and delicious whipped cream on top. There was so many options, we are already planning on our next trip. Thank you for making our Sat. Night so tasty! read more

I've been waiting for this shop to open for the past year! They opened in May but I finally made my way this weekend with the hubs. Located in a brand new strip mall, Plaza at Celebration Village along with Verizon, Grandma's NY Pizza, a nail salon and more. Plenty of parking. The shop is adorable and has lots of indoor seating. The owners themselves work behind the counter, helping customers, answering questions and making treats. The wife makes the ice cream in the kitchen everyday. Scoopjoy offers scoops, milkshakes, coffee, ice cream pies, pints, quarts, sandwiches and more. They have a variety of flavors including vegan flavors. Vegan, GF, Dairy-free, flavors with nuts, etc are all clearly labeled. We sampled a few before landing on our usual flavors. I ordered two scoops of the caramel crunch in a waffle cone and my husband ordered an oreo milkshake. Along with the ice cream, the waffle cones are also made fresh there. I watched them make each order. The ice cream was wonderful. You can definitely taste the homemade freshness. Both the caramel crunch and the oreo shake had great flavor and weren't too sweet. I've been waiting for a homemade ice cream shop to open in this area and I'm so glad Scoopjoy came along! read more

After searching homemade ice cream on google, this was highly recommended. Driving 25 minutes away and getting horrible service I realized it was not worth it. There was obvious tension between the employees after arguing in front of customers about the whipped cream. The tension reflected onto the service provided to the customers. I don't know if this is a regular thing but not a good look on the "forbes" list. Sunday afternoon employees need an attitude check. read more

I don't live close to this place, and that is a blessing! I would be as big as a house!!! The ice cream is top tier! As an ice cream aficionado, I pride myself in recognizing good quality. The cream and the sugar seem to be imported from Europe. I am sure that there is an ice cream master in the back. read more

Happened to be driving by on our way to get ice cream when we saw the sign "ice cream" and decided to give it a try. I believe the owners we're serving us and we're very kind and patient and explained that they make all the ice cream right there which was pretty neat.Store is super clean and has plenty of indoor seating. I got the butterfinger and my husband got the brownie in a waffle cone. I'm not a big ice cream fan but this was very tasty, quality ice cream. My husband is an ice cream lover and could not get enough of his! Would definitely recommend and will be back again!! read more

I wish I could give Scoopjoy a rave review because it's such a cute place and the staff was friendly, but I found the ice cream very mediocre and it didn't have a lot of flavor to it. It all tasted the same... sweet and creamy (which isn't bad) but if you closed your eyes you would have a hard time telling the chocolate from the browned butter ice cream. And while you get a decent portion, the price is also quite "big"... but the real problem for me is that the flavors lack intensity and interest. read more

The service here is excellent! The ice creams that are made in house are just as excellent! My wife and I shared a Waffle Taco and it was tough to finish because of how much you get. This is definitely a five star place and the prices are extremely reasonable. read more

I was craving for special ice cream out of random. It was suppose to be normal Bruster day, I wanted something out of ordinary. We always try ice cream anywhere I go. Decided to give it a try with this very new ice cream place. Took my whole family after a walk to the park. We tried waffle cone with all kinds of flavor-chocolate haze, citrus bliss, pistachio, oreo dream. My boys got kiddie cone with m&m, chocolate. Sometimes I dont get waffle cone because it makes me too full, here was not. It was thin and just right amount. My husband was able to eat it without breaking because he used spoon to scoop the ice creams out. I totally failed as I was biting mine off. We always fail to take picture, very creamy, unique. It makes the day special. We would definitely come back! read more
