When they say scoops, they mean it! The lovely staff is always there to offer up a healthy serving of ice cream, every time I go there. Personally, I have issues with lactose and ice cream. I wont go in to specifics, no one wants that. It often hits me at the worst times. I don't care though. I love the ice cream from Scoops. I love the atmosphere there. I will always make it a weekly stop. Besides, I have a washing machine, and multiple pairs of pants. read more

My boys both love coming here as a reward and we have enjoyed everything from ice cream scoops, to their brownie sundae, to their candy. My husband loved this place! He likes coming to get their Oreo Cheesecake ice cream and I order a Carmel Apple. Once you enter the store all the aromas of the candy, ice cream and things flood your nose. The inside is for shopping only. The seating area is outside the store on the patio. During the summer the store is packed to capacity. Now during the winter season not so packed but they have some customers. They are selling mini donuts now. read more

So many delicious options in the candy and ice cream shop! The one scoop butter pecan ice cream in the deluxe waffle cone was HUGE & so delicious! The chocolate on the cone reminded me of a drumstick! The cone was very fresh and the ice cream was creamy & delicious. My husband got one scoop of apple which was smaller and didn't have ice cream in the bottom of the cone (guess it depends who makes it) but still very flavorful. Everyone was friendly and offered samples. The truffles & goodies can add up fast at $2 a piece but they were all excellent & decent sizes. The popcorn was a little sweet but also delicious. I definitely ordered way too much for one person lol. I ordered strawberry, chocolate, and oreo Cheesecake in a waffle cone. The ice cream itself was delicious. Waffle cone could use my crunch. Tasted a little stale. I recommend ordering the ice cream in a cup. read more

Date Night dessert. Perfect way to end the night. This is a smaller location than the one in Monroe, GA but still has all the yummy treats and delicious ice creams. Got a couple buckeyes and peanut butter cups that were huge. Perfect for a date night or when you just need a little something sweet. It's also on a "board walk" so lots of outdoor seating and even a big fountain. read more

My wife and I were downtown Acworth and wanted some coffee and espresso and we luckily found Scoops. First of all service was fantastic. Espresso was one of the best I have ever had and the latte was the same. The highlight were the white haystack and the dark chocolate truffles. OMG. We finally stopped in tonight and the ice cream was delicious! The staff was super nice and helpful as we looked over the MANY hard dip ice cream options. They were very creamy and flavorful. I wanted to try one of everything from the goodies case on the end. About anything you could think of, covered in chocolate. The chocolate covered cookie dough will be mine on my next visit! They also had delicious looking candy covered apples and about any kind of candy (new and old!) you can think of. So happy to have Scoops in our sweet city, and cannot wait to visit again! read more

Run, don't walk to Scoops! Tucked behind the Eagle Theater in downtown Sugar Hill, you'll find a hidden gem with a variety of ice cream flavors, chocolate treats, and candy. I ordered pumpkin in a waffle cone and my wife had Belgium chocolate - both were creamy and delicious! The only "downside" may be they're not facing Broad Street which limits their visibility to customers. So go there for your next treat and spread the word about Scoops @ Sugar Hill. read more
