Fruit Bar Chocolate

We entered the store and were pleasantly surprised with how well organized the chocolates were presented. The service at Royce is exceptional! The kind lady who helped us to samples was very knowledgeable about the different chocolates. My friends and I were super fans of the Nama chocolate. There are so many different kinds of Nama chocolates you can get, I wish they had a box of all of them! Texture and flavor wise, the Nama chocolate was smooth, decadent and delightful. We also enjoyed the Strawberry Fruit Bar which was described as an "elevated KitKat bar" and had strawberry and mango pieces. We also purchased the chips with chocolate but personally didn't think they were worth the price point. Overall, the chocolates were of very high quality which you could tell from the taste and packaging. This sweet little chocolate shop has some of the best gift options for yourself and others!

The chocolate at ROYCE is INCREDIBLE. I initially went here as a plus one for yelp elite event and got to try a few chocolate options and was hooked. The flavors are amazing and indulgent with each bite. We tried the chocolate bars, chocolate covered chips, and a few Nama chocolate flavors. I enjoyed the Nama chocolate the most and have gone back 3 times to get more for friends and family. They also have seasonal flavors which means there's always something new to try. The chocolate also comes in super cute boxes that are great for a gift. The staff here was incredibly friendly and helped us determine what the best fit chocolate was for us. They had flavors for people who like super sweet, fruity, or more bitter so would be a great choice for anyone.

Pistache Chocolat bar, seasonal flavor and my favorite item

Always a great selection. Their seasonal flavors are wonderful and the pistachio chocolates (their current flavor!) are delightful. Right next to other popular businesses with great parking spaces and classy staff, Royce makes a great stop for gifts or to treat yourself. Some options are gluten free, and all of the information cards include allergen info. Their more delicate Nama chocolates that require refrigeration are wrapped in a cold pack when you buy, and you can sign up for points upon checkout with your phone number which gets you discounts at various point levels. Prices may seem high at 15 to 25 dollars for one package of product or one large premium bar of pistachio chocolate, for example, but the quality of their chocolate and the intentionality of the chosen flavors are a testament to the Japanese reputation for crafting products with passion and simple elegance. Perfect for a decadent gift for any occasion. Not too sweet to be sickening, the chocolates have the perfect balance of flavors and are rich enough that one product can last because you will want to savor every bite. I highly recommend the pistachio chocolate bars and strawberry nama chocolate.

Royce chocolates are SO GOOD! I went there a few months ago to try some chocolate and have been back a few times since then. The nama chocolates are the best and there's a flavor for everyone. The chips were also great with a good balance of sweet and salty. It's a cute store and the everyone was very helpful in picking the best chocolate for me. Would recommend this place if you're in the area!

We stopped in just to get some samples, but the nama chocolate was so incredible we couldn't leave without two boxes of the champagne flavor. The texture and mouthfeel isn't quite like any other chocolate we'd had before, without being overpoweringly sweet or bitter. The store itself is small with a limited seasonal curation of items, but the attendant was very helpful in pointing out items that we might like. I do have a feeling we'll probably be back for more once our supply runs out

I have been wrecking my brain to find a Christmas gift for my neighbor. He used to travel for work in Japan so I thought this will be a nice surprise for him. It's in the same shopping strip as H mart. There's no sign, but I was able to find it from the previous review (to the left of AT&T). They have posters outside in the windows. It's a small store, but lots of selection to choose from. They have their regular chocolate on the left and a display of seasonal on the right. We were greeted right away and told about a promotion where you get a box of nama chocolate and a cooler bag with Christmas selection box. We were overwhelmed by the choices and it was quite crowded in this Sunday afternoon. We did end up with the Christmas selection and it was wrapped nicely and ready to be gifted. Don't forget to Virgin check in for your bag of chocolate bars. I was a little disappointed where we weren't really taken care of and I had to seek the employees for any questions I had. Also, they didn't offer any samples and I am spending $80 on chocolate that I have no idea what it tastes like. Maybe they are overwhelmed with the amount of people there that day. We will try out our chocolates and see.

Such a cute little store, I was not familiar with Japanese chocolate so this was a new treat for me. I loved the creaminess of the chocolate and the subtle flavors. It's definitely perfect for savoring. I tried a few nama chocolates (Champagne, Bitter, and Ghana bitter). The Ghana and the regular Bitter were very close in flavor, but I ended up buying the Bitter simply because of the slight alcohol infusion. I also tried the chocolate wafers matcha and the cherry cube. I'm not typically a cherries and chocolate person, but the flavors were perfect and I'd definitely try them again. Overall love the chocolates and will definitely visit again when they have nama chocolate matcha available. The young lady that worked there was very nice and knowledgeable about the products.

Royce Chocolate finally opening in Georgia? And out of all places my hometown JC?! This was extreme news to me and I know I had to check it out. The fact that Royce finally opened in Georgia just means that Georgia is on its way to become a big name state, and it's absolutely fantastic. I'm not a HUGE fanatic of Royce, but I do enjoy their chocolate from time to time and since they opened, it is definitely worth checking them out. We visited, and the location is relatively small -- there isn't much walking room and you're exposed to the selection they have. They also have samples available (not Nama Chocolate - the signature Royce item) but you can try the chocolates out. My friend got the Au Lait Royce Nama Chocolate for $19.99 and what's nice about Royce is that they give you an icebag thingy that makes the chocolates cool for about 2-3 hours. We got it and did the unboxing right away. Immediately, I noticed that Royce doesn't put the mini forks anymore in the boxes which was a huge disappointment as the chocolate is usually smothered in ganache/cacao powder. Also, I don't know if my palates, standards and expectations have increased but it doesn't taste as good as I remember. It used to be more chewy and had a stronger flavor, but I couldn't get that this time around. Nevertheless, Royce is a great-tasting product and it's not bad, but I was just slightly underwhelmed. I would still come here to buy gifts and whatnot, but I don't know if I would purchase these chocolates for a whopping $19.99. Still, I'm very happy that we have such a high-end product in Georgia and it makes my inner-JC self happy (even though I don't live here anymore lol).

We recently came here for a Yelp Elite Event and we loved it so much that we went back and got a box of the Champagne Nama Chocolate. It's heavenly! It has the best texture, the chocolate isn't too sweet or too bitter and it tastes so good! I'd highly recommend them! They're so nice, they always have some samples ready and they give lots of information about everything!

Wow what a wonderful Japanese chocolate gem ! Came here for a yelp event and Henry did a phenomenal job explaining the different chocolates they had! I am not a sweet person so for me to say that this is perfectly sweetened is an understatement because this chocolate is perfect ! As soon as you walk in you feel the luxury of the chocolate store ! It felt very clean and organized! I will definitely be back for some more rum and raisin chocolate!

So stoked that we have a Royce here. Right now, it's only a soft opening. So outside their store, they don't have a sign yet. But it's in the Johns creek hmart plaza, in between the metro bank and AT&T! Even though it's a small store, they still have lots to offer! I was really tempted to get the wafers, but I couldn't resist to get the Ghana bitter chocolates. It's a dark chocolate flavor that is rich. If you haven't had Royce chocolate before, the texture isn't hard. Even though the chocolates are kept cold, it's not hard. It almost melts in your mouth. They do have a variety pack with different assortments of chocolates and wafers. But I was just really focused on the Ghana bitter. It's liquor free so if you are a dark chocolate lover, I highly recommend it!

I am SO EXCITED to finally have Royce chocolate in Atlanta and not just that, right by my parents' house. They are world known for their Nama chocolate, the melt in your mouth kind! I used to get this from Japan and fly it back. They pack it with a special cooling packaging bc the Nama chocolate specifically needs to be refrigerated. The store is small but it moves quick if you are good with decision making. Staff is very knowledgeable about the products and super fast with service as well as hospitable. So happy it's in John's Creek!

Royce's Japanese chocolates are so delicious! Very creamy and subtle sweet!!! There are several varieties, such as pure chocolate with different degrees of bitter, nuts, fruits, and my favorite Matcha chocolate, aromatic matcha even with chocolate!!! Some people may like "Nama Chocolate" which is with a hint of alcohol inside the chocolate!!!

When I opened the omurice, the rich egg and cheese aroma covered the entire dish, and every spoonful of rice was full of flavor. The sweet and tangy fried chicken skewers were also delicious. I also tried their mandu (beef dumplings) -- juicy and full of savory flavor. The second time, I ordered the Alfredo pasta, which had a strong creamy aroma and an addictive white sauce flavor. The only downside was the portion -- it was a bit small and disappeared too quickly!

Surprisingly, craving this got me to come back a second time. The Fire Chicken Omelette Ramen had the same presentation, but Buddok ramen instead of sushi rice. Disappointing, because I could have just made Buddok ramen at home. The Schewan noodles were not spicy nor tasty. Takoyaki was good, on a bed of potato fries. Would order again. For the Beef Bulgogi Cheese Fries, the bulgogi is good, the fries are not. These fries are from the frozen section at Costco, make no mistake. They are bland, 2/5 star fries. Even if the bulgogi was on top of better fries, the bulgogi is dry and the cheese on it isn't melty or saucy, so the fries and the topping don't mix together well. Just a pile of dry food.
