The Dubai chocolate crepe, the iced lotus milkshake, Kashmiri chai, and regular chai. The crepe was beyond delicious with soft crepes and crunchy kunafa and pistachio crumbles, excellent combination. I wish I could have tried more but I will have to pace myself as the items are as rich as they are vibrant. The owner, Omar, was so kind and friendly. I used to often frequent the Tampa location of this international chain back in the day, so I thoughtI would check out the Johns Creek location. Now, this shop is known for their Dubai trend creations. Yes, it's still going on. Huge and comfortable space that is not the cleanest, but definitely open late and a fun vibe. Many families come here to spend time together and share the large servings of sweet treats. Desserts here are the same price as a meal, but are also the same portion. For healthier options, they also have fresh fruit plates and smoothies. But, they are known for their melted chocolate creations. I really like that I can customize if I want white, milk, pr dark chocolate. I personally find most of their desserts too sweet, but I really enjoy their various Chai flavors. We got Twix gelato - delish, 3 types of spiced teas with milk, and a fresh fruit crepe with 3 types of chocolate drizzled. At first the crepe felt overwhelming but the chocolate was not overly sweet and 4 of us shared it. Nice place with chocolate fountains and a huge variety of middle eastern desserts including Kunafa. A very exotic and one of the finest places in metro Atlanta (probably in GA) to have such varieties of Crepe, waffles, cakes, milkshakes, ice-cream and what not. Everything we have tried here has been just delicious and nothing short of greatness in taste. Hands down the best cafe serving desserts in different forms and chocolatey at its best. THE FOOD: We have tried Biscoff Crepe, Triple chocolate Waffles, Chocolate milkshake, Masala Chai, Hot chocolate. The Crepe was absolutely the best ever crepe I have ever had and the combination of Biscoff cream and chocolate cream is so damn good. THE BEST. The quantity was good enough for 2 people. The taste was amazing! The Waffle was good as well. The chocolate (be it the white, milk chocolate or dark) is too good. You can have it all day long! But both the waffle and crepe were slightly on the higher side of pricing which can be reconsidered. The milkshake here is of right quantity and totally worth it. Loved the chocolate milkshake. The Biscoff milkshake was equally good is what my friends said. Oreo milkshake was so pathetic in my opinion and can be a lot better. It's so normal and artificial flavor just hits. The hot chocolate was kind of decent and the chai was pretty normal and again on the higher side of pricing for a machine made tea. The food sits well on the tummy, no issues on that. Would highly encourage anyone to try their crepe ahead of waffles or cakes. Can't wait to try the other things and their varieties as well here. SERVICE & AMBIENCE: The staffs working here are very friendly and welcoming. They are ready to help with disposing plates and everything and they are there always despite the crowd. The place is very much crowded all the time during the evenings. Weekends it gets super crowded like anything and long lines. Pick up would be the best option. The seating is quite comfortable and the lighting and the smell is so good. It's very much inviting and addictive. Always there's a group of people hanging out near the parking lot making it difficult to navigate around and I wish they would be considerate of others coming there. Management can intervene and do something. They are open till midnight and that's great! BOTTOMLINE: An extremely amazing place to try out different varieties of desserts in various flavors. Wow I'm so happy a new dessert place opened up right next to us. The place is very big and there's a separate room that could be great for parties. I love that the tables are plenty and large. There's outlets for laptops; I would definitely come back to work/study here. The service is outstanding. The employees are so friendly and welcoming. The menu is extensive. We ordered the ice cream and the melt n dip crepe with dark chocolate. The crepe was made fresh to order and came with tons of fruit. The chocolate was drizzled all over and was very good quality. The crepe is huge and easily fed our family of 4. The owner is so nice and talked to us after, it seems like they really care about the customers and their experience. All portions looked decent from what I saw, and we enjoyed our orders. We had the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup, and the lemon and all berry gelato. Was the service slow? Yes- but they're also short staff and working the best they can to provide quality desserts and drinks. Got a chocolate waffle with strawberries and ice cream, 2 scoops of ice cream and a Kashmiri chai. It was around $45. Super expensive considering how small portions were. Service was super slow. My wife, kids, and I visited for the first time and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. We ordered two juices that sat on the counter for over 10 minutes without anyone bringing them to us or letting us know they were ready. When we asked about them, the staff responded rudely. Later, when we returned to request a to-go cup, the cashier greeted us with, "What is it?" in a dismissive and unfriendly tone. The ice cream was decent, but the prices were much higher than what the quality and overall experience justified. There is something wrong with all of the food at Melt n Dip. I've now ordered food here 3 times and everything reeks of a strong fragrance or chemical. Everything, from the packaging to the actual food. If you touch the packaging you get the smell stuck on your hands. Even things like the Oreo milkshake tasted like harsh cleaning chemicals. This is after repeat visits too and not an isolated event. The food tastes like someone dumped a cup of Lysol in it. read more

We went to the location in Orlando for the first time about a month ago and when I found out they opened one here, I was so excited to drive 20 miles to see if it was the same and yes it was!!! The chocolate is so thick, rich and divine. We ordered the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup, Fettuccine Crepe and Brownie Waffle. I added strawberries and pineapple. I recommend sharing it with someone if you order this! On top of that, it was very chocolatey and I'm not sure how else to describe it but it was heaven.. The presentation of the plate was so pretty, it made me not want to eat it! The staff were very nice and helpful in service and offering help if you're not sure what to order. Its a great concept and i love it. I visited with some friends and was overwhelmed by the size of the dessert menu. We definitely needed a dessert place like this in Alpharetta. The menu is great and sounds delicious. But they definitely need to work on the cleanliness, service and wait times. It seems that they do not have any coordination, planning as to who is doing what, they need to get organized. Secondly, they need to work on the quality a little bit, we got the lava cake and it was very dry and dense, chocolate inside was not at all liquid.
