We went late so their wasn't a huge selection but we got the Biscoff cookie! They are huge and took several days to finish but were delicious.

This spot is very similar to some other cookie spots, but they have some specialty cookies that are filled with things like oreo cheesecake, peanut butter, etc. Service was fast, and you just grab and go as there is nowhere to sit inside. We got a half dozen to share between 4 people and we were all very impressed. The red velvet and double shot (espresso) were so delicious and I highly recommend those. The only downside to me was $34 for a half dozen is very steep price wise, but for a special gift this makes a great spot.

2021 Dessert Wars Judges' Choice Award Champion Shane Quillin is the creator of Atlanta gourmet cookie and bakery concept, Sugar Shane's. Sugar Shane's is located on the lower level of the Arabelle Perimeter Apartments at the corner of Hammond Drive and Peachtree Dunwoody Road. The eatery is MARTA accessible via the 5 bus or a half-mile walk from the Dunwoody Station. There are other bakery locations in Ponce City Market, Midtown, and Kennesaw. I was starving one Saturday and was looking for somewhere to eat in the Perimeter area that wasn't within the Permeter Mall area. I enjoyed a meal at Local Expedition and was walking to my car when I noticed this bakery (and I am so glad I walked in). The bakery is small and narrow; however, you are transported to an eclectic, vibrant world with graffiti murals and abstract art. The staff is equally as friendly and knowledgeable about the different offerings. Sugar Shane's features signature and rotating flavors of cookies such as crumb cake, banana bread, and the Betty White (chunks of Golden Oreos, creamy cookies 'n cream bars, and smooth white chocolate chips). They also have a selection of brownies, cakes, and Rice Krispy treats. Sugar Shane's offers a "sweet tooth" special on Wednesday--four cookies for $20. We experienced the: Chocolate Chip (chopped dark chocolate, dark chocolate disks, semi-sweet chips, topped with sea salt) Cookies & Cream (vanilla base and stuffed with white chocolate chips, oreos, and cookies & cream bar pieces) Spooky S'mores (graham cracker base, milk chocolate chips, marshmallow) Morning After (Brown Sugar Cookie Base Rolled in Cinnamon Crumble Topping) I fell in love with the first bite of Cookies & Cream, and the love affair continued as I sampled each of the cookies. When I got home, my husband popped the cookies in the microwave, placed them back in the box, and disappeared (I never saw the cookies again). Even the humble chocolate chip cookie was elevated with the touches of sea salt. The cookies are not cheap, but the price is well worth the gooeyness, richness, and buttery flavors. I have plans to try the Dubai Bar, which is a dark chocolate bar with kanafi dough and creamy pistachio filling, finished with white chocolate drizzles and pistachio garnish (anything with pistachio is a must try for me).

I love Sugar Shane's and recently visited their Sandy Springs location for a Yelp event. This spot used to be a regular for me when I lived in the area. The location itself is small, but decorated well. Upon arrival, I was greeted and enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and a piece of cake. I also ordered a serving of vanilla ice cream, which, while delicious, felt a bit overpriced at around six dollars for small scoops. The highlight was definitely the chocolate chip cookie--it was perfectly gooey in the middle and crisp on the edges. I savored the cake the next day, and it was wonderfully soft and tasty. Overall, Sugar Shane's remains a favorite, and I'm sure I'll be back for more of their delightful treats.

Cool shop located in a prime spot in Sandy Springs. The employee greeted me with a smiling face and patiently waited for me to pick my pastry. I went with the banana bread and chocolate chip cookie. Banana bread was a huge slice (Good for 2 people) filled with yummy chocolate chips and drizzled with chocolate sauce. And the chocolate chip cookie melted in my mouth. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of convenient parking spots. All I could see was a private parking lot with warning signs saying towing or impounding everywhere, so the whole experience of parking for even 10-15 minutes was extremely scary. I hope the store takes this feedback and provides clear instructions for parking near the storefront.

So if you like cookies, this is the way. They got all types of gourmet cookies and cakes and stuff like that if you're into all of the dessert things. I suggest that you order online, just to make sure that it'll be there at the appropriate time. I'm sure you could just walk in but they suggest you order online so do so. No I will say about the ordering, it was very great customer service and very personable because they even wrote my name on a box and a thank you when I pick my order up! Doing that every time, that means you're really care I assume! I can appreciate that. It's preferable to park on the inside so basically you have to go around the building on the other side as a parking structure for you. It's labeled so you don't have to worry about missing it. You just walk through the hallway to whatever store you want, which is going to be the cookie spot! If you keep walking it's going to take you all the way around to your facing me Einstein Brothers bagels and then you just basically hang a right! Or you can walk outside, that's also an option. But if it's raining or something along those lines, you want to stay inside as long as possible. The chocolate chip - this was really good, sweet salty and very chocolatey and when you put it in the microwave it went off! The cookies and cream - this one was okay. I wasn't really sure about the cream part but the cookies was really good. Would I get it again, I might not, but regardless of that, it still had a really good and savory and chewy taste to it. Again, and the microwave it's amazing! The m&m cookie - this one was the winner. It looks a little different as a big ball of dough, but one side is cookie and one side is chocolate cookie and it has m&Ms up and throughout it. It was a hit to me. Yet again, put it in the microwave it's amazing!

A Must-Try Sweet Spot in Sandy Springs! My wife and I were craving something sweet, so we decided to check out Sugar Shane's in Sandy Springs. We chose this spot because of the amazing reviews from real people--4.8 stars from 800+ reviews! INSANE, right? I KNOW!!! Let me just say, this is by far one of the best bakeries we've ever been to! They offer a variety of cookies and gourmet treats like s'mores, banana pudding, and so much more. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by an irresistible sugary aroma that immediately lures you in. With so many tempting options, I had a hard time deciding--but Sayyed (aka Say) came to the rescue! He broke it down for me, pointing out the top contenders: S'mores, Betty White, Cookies n Cream, and Chocolate Chip. Oh, and he made sure to highlight the cheesecake brownie! After much debate, my wife and I went with the Betty White cookie and the cheesecake brownie. Let me tell you--we got our sugar fix! Personally, I think this place is better than Crumbl. As for the price? I'll let you be the judge, but with treats this good, it's worth it! Just maybe don't eat here seven days a week--unless you want an express trip to the dentist! LOLOL Highly recommend Sugar Shane's for all dessert lovers!

Without heating up these were absolute fire. Dude Shane knows how to bake some goodies. They are expensive so bring a 20 if you wanna eat good. Staff was so nice it was crazy. If I lived here I'd be back. I need y'all to ship nationally!

A spoonful full of sugar makes the medicine go down. The medicine go down-wown .The medicine go down. In a most delightful way. These were my exact thoughts as I took the first bite of this Sugar Shane's chocolate chip cookie. My whole life's existence started to play out right before my eyes as to why I hadn't tried Sugar Shane's before now. These cookies were soooooo good, but at $4-$6 a cookie..come on now. Highway robbery, but how can you say no to your greedy gremlin?!!? I had to bite the bullet on this one. It's so much better than insomnia or Crumbl cookies, in my opinion. The ladies at the counter were so welcoming and pleasant. Even the customers that made a purchase before me were raving that Sugar Shane's were the truth. I'm definitely returning to try more cookies in their display.

I had heard of Sugar Shane's and tried them once when a friend had brought them, but had never actually visited a location! I came here to take advantage of Yelp's July 2023 deal for 2 chocolate chip cookies for $4.04. Parking is super easy with a deck next door and it's just a pickup location. When we entered on Sunday, the employee at the counter did a great job telling us about each of the flavors! We didn't try any others but the classic chocolate chip cookies, but all the stuffed cookies looked SO delicious and I want to go back to try!! The chocolate chip cookies we ordered were generously sized and incredibly rich. They were the right amount of sweet and even had salt flakes on top which I loved! I can't wait to check out other locations and their other flavors.

I actually cannot believe I had never heard of this place or been here before. First of all, we came on a Sunday an hour or 2 before close and they still had tons of options! The employee also did the most fantastic job of explaining all the flavors and giving us a welcome introduction. I ended up going with the 2 classic chocolate chip cookies. And let me tell you... this changed my perspective on cookies. They were so GOOEY AND SOFT!!! These were some of the best cookies I have ever had. Not to mention they are massive and rich. For me they are giving insomnia a run for their money. Don't sleep on this place! I can't wait to try more of their locations and more of their flavors. Their slutty brownie also looked phenomenal. Really can't believe I went so long without this

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

And I had over 200 people at that event. I did not get one bad comment or one mediocre comment about how the food was. I utilize them for several different aspects of my event. For snacks to go with the fun hours, for grab and go lunch on the last day, and for a continental style breakfast one morning. I'd also like to add that this event was all men. And most of you know that men will eat almost anything and it's really not complain. However, all of the men commented on the creativity that I chose to give them things that they wouldn't normally get at a men's retreat. PS. For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!

Meat was thin and the Patty that they had for the sausage didn't even really measure up to the width of the bread itself. So there was a lot of bites that had no sausage in it. But The taste was good. Pastrami egg and Swiss (jalapeno bagel) - The bagel sandwich was really good. I feel like there could have been more meat but they had enough to function. The bagel was thick, the pastrami was hot and the cheese was melted. I would definitely get this again. It was really filling. I got mine with Swiss cheese but they have a couple other options. If you're in the area trying to find a little duck off, this is a good spot to get a quick sandwich. When I say quick I mean it is reasonably fast but there's a line of people in front of you, everything is made to order so it may take a second so be patient.

For the best in the cake business in the Atlanta area, look no further than Lush Cakery! I…read moretypically never, ever care for wedding cakes... They're usually nothing special. But cakes from this shop are crowd-favorites! Everyone at my wedding raved about the cake, even months later people still brought it up. I highly recommend this business.

We had a great time tasting cakes with our wedding planner, Jordan Flowers of Wedding Belles, and…read moreKathryn ("Kat") Steed, sole owner and cake maker at Lush Cakery in Marietta. Jordan recommended Lush Cakery to my fiancee and me (our planner does not accept kickbacks, but instead passes on any discounts she may get on to us) and that is enough praise for me. My fiancee, through her own research, noticed that Lush Cakery has had a hand in a lot of nice weddings in Atlanta. She absolutely loves the look of Lush's cakes (she describes them as beautiful, fun, and creative). I asked Kat how many weddings she did last year and she told me, if I recall correctly, 185 (all by herself!). She doesn't plan on doing that many per year going forward, but she definitely has the experience and is well known in the Atlanta wedding community. Kat moved into a cute space just off Marietta Square a couple years ago. There's a retail space, open four days a week, and a tasting room, available by appointment only. The shop can also be booked for small events like bridal and baby showers. Kat was waiting for us promptly at our appointment time. My fiancee and I were accompanied by our planner for the tasting. The tasting room was quaint and charming. It reminded my fiancee of an attractive sitting room, like something you would see on HGTV. We got to know Kat and she got to know us. She let us swipe through cake designs on her iPad while talking to us about our wedding, our tastes/visions for our cake, and how our cake would align with our wedding overall. For example, we talked about the season of our wedding, whether it's going to be indoor or outdoor, etc. These kinds of things can affect the ingredients and flavors of our wedding cake. There was a menu at the table with Lush's most popular wedding cake flavors. We tasted the following six flavors: * Salted caramel * Amaretto white chocolate red raspberry * Triple chocolate hazelnut * Grand Marnier strawberries and cream * Cinnamon * Cream cheese pound with lemon curd Kat had the first five flavors in the list above ready to go on a plate for each of us. The last one was requested by my fiancee who was interested in trying the lemon curd after seeing it on the menu. My eyes lit up as I bit into these cakes. What impressed me most about them was actually not their flavor, but their consistency. Every single slice was perfectly fluffy and moist. They were tender and delicate with good crumb. Flavor-wise, they were sweet, but not too sweet. My favorite flavors were the salted caramel and the strawberries and cream. My fiancee's favorite flavors were the amaretto white chocolate red raspberry and the triple chocolate hazelnut. My fiancee thought both the strawberry and cinnamon tasted delicious, but were a little too simple for her tastes. The cream cheese pound cake with lemon curd was outstanding, but we agreed that we liked the lighter, less dense textures of the other cakes for our wedding cake. Everything we tried tasted great, so what it really came down to here was personal preference. We want a classic, elegant looking cake so Kat suggested a traditional three-tier round cake. We'll have it decorated with flowers from our florist, Julie Coffin of Unique Floral Expressions, who is one of the rock stars of the Atlanta wedding industry and whom Kat has worked many weddings with. We chose our cake and icing flavors, along with a fun design extra, and were quoted under $700 for our cake (tax and delivery included). The cake will serve 100. We'll have more than 100 guests, but there will be other dessert options too. Kat's quote is about $200 higher than another quote we recently received, so Lush is on the higher side. However, the other quote did not include an extra design element and the Lush quote also includes a "complimentary" anniversary tier a year after our wedding. A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a date. We received Kat's proposal via email quickly after our meeting. My fiancee had a question and it didn't take long for Kat to respond. All in all, this was a wonderful experience. Now we just have to make a decision! Throughout our wedding planning process so far, this has turned out to be the most difficult decision yet.
