These guys have lost my confidence. They no longer accept credit cards. They no longer have a…read morecommercial bank account. They are no longer trustworthy. They came out to do a routine service call on a system that they installed 5 years ago. They told me that I needed parts and that my system was no longer under warranty. I was concerned that the system did not send me a notification of the needed repair and I thought my system had a 10 year warranty! It was a very expensive system. Aaron asked me to pay upfront for the part and for two service calls. I did because I trusted them. They didn't come back as promised to make the repair. I called Carrier and was told that I should not have had to pay for the part because it was under warranty and they also noted that they did not get a notification of the failure either as they and I should have. When Aaron finally returned to install the part, he apologized up and down for letting me down. He said that as soon as Carrier reimbursed him for the part he would return my money. He told me a week later that the check had come and he would return the money as soon as it cleared. Well now he doesn't return my texts and his voicemail is always full! It has been several months and I haven't seen my money. I was the first person to review this company when they opened. I believed in them. Now I tell people to find someone else. These guys don't seem to be the honest people that they once were!

Answered the first time I called and sent someone out with in 45 minutes on a Memorial Day weekend!, they repaired it and even told me they had parts to keep it running for years as long as it wasn't to costly to operate energy bill wise, when it gets to that point.......as well as resolving the issue and explaining ways to keep up on the system in ways I could understand. Very easy company to work with......especially having a second home in the Sussex county area. Peace of mind for sure.

My family does not recommend Blades HVAC. We have a geothermal system that had a slow leak at the…read morecirculation pump. On the pump housing, Blades put a service sticker with their phone number, approximately three inches from where the leak was happening. I thought great, I will call them and they will take care of it. When the service technician came out, he took a look at where the leak was and said that they do not service geothermal loop pumps, and charged me $125 to come say that; he was not even here ten minutes. I told him that I felt that I was being ripped off because I had described where the leak was, and they still sent someone to tell me they don't work on that part. The tech said I could take that up with the office. I called the office to describe that I would leave a critical review because of my experiences with them, and give them a chance to make it right. The guy in the office literally laughed at me and said something to the effect that just because a sticker was on the part doesn't mean they service that exact part. Their four-hour service windows without updates make it difficult to plan when they may be able to come out. Had to reschedule a prior service call because the technician did not come out until about 12:15 when they had given me a window from 8-12. I do not recommend using Blades HVAC. The installation team; Mike, Dakota & Waynor did an amazing job. Although, the installed unit was not as quoted and after speaking to Joe, who did not address my problem, the new unit works great. The installation team gets a thumbs up!

I'm very unhappy so far. We spent $17,000 on a 4 ton unit to heat and cool our house. At first they…read moreinstalled the wrong thermostat, then something broke a week after it was installed and we had no a/c. They had to come out and fix it. Sometime before December we had to call again because it was taking over 4 hours to increase the temperature one degree. We called and had someone come out again. The person came and said nothing was wrong and that it takes a while to hear and that because we switched to electric we weren't used to it. Next up was January and our electric bill was over $1000 and then the same for February and March. Because of how high our bill was we keep it on 60 degrees for the entire winter because they said it wasn't good to make the temperature go up more than 2 degrees at a time. We froze in our own house. Next up was those really hot days so we turned on the a/c.... but it just blew hot air. We called and someone came out to now tell us something was leaking oil and it was broken. We also found out that it was heating with emergency heat all winter which was why our electric bill was so high. The electric company threatened to turn it off so we had to get an installment plan. Now they plan to replace the compressor only. All of this is so messed up! We should get a whole new unit because this one has had problems from day 1! My wife called and they said there isn't anything they can do about our electric bill and they can't put in a new unit. Nothing about this is ok especially being gas lit by the person who came out the second time!! Unless the outcome changes, I would never recommend this company to anyone and will be speaking with a lawyer, Attorney General and the BBB. Why do I want a unit that has had problems the whole time? In addition, their peace of mind statement on the invoice states that if the compressor fails within 5 years, they will replace the entire outside unit at no cost. They also promise to put you in a hotel if it fails, but now no one will call me back.
