We came across this food truck as one of the options at the National Zoo. They had a nice little menu of BBQ sandwiches plus some sides. The corn salad was excellent. There was a bit of a wait for food, but everything came out fresh and tasty. Great to have this option in a location that has more limited food choices.

I had the pulled barbecue chicken sandwich and it was dry and tasteless. The chicken tenders and fries are the safest to get.

I remember coming here for the first time with an ex-boyfriend back in the early 90s. Living in Pittsburgh meant lots of quick weekend roadtrips to DC for our gang of friends in our early 20s. Clyde's is absolutely old school Georgetown in a classic and vibrant way. Love the wood and green decor, tables with cane back chairs, glass ceiling, and option for al fresco dining. They've got ample indoor seating too. The outdoor vibe just reminds me of Paris. The indoor vibe with the wood, booths, and bar are just classic DC. Great happy hour too. Incredibly good service. There are a few other locations but I've only ever been here and I can't recommend it enough.

The restaurant is much larger than I expected, and I was seated in a spacious booth. My waiter was young, kind, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He had some great recommendations, which came in handy when I was stuck deciding between appetizers. He suggested the fried zucchini, and I'm so glad I listened. It was delicious. definitely a 10/10. For my entrée, I ordered the crab cake with fries and a small side of coleslaw. Despite its smaller size, the crab cake was surprisingly good. It had more crab than filling, which is exactly how I like my crab cakes. I just wish the portion had been a little bigger. The fries were pretty standard. nothing particularly memorable. and unfortunately, I didn't care for the coleslaw at all. By the time my entrée arrived, the restaurant had gotten much more crowded, but it remained surprisingly quiet. I really appreciated that because it made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. My friend ordered the fish with purple potatoes and green beans, and the fish was a 10/10. It was really good, and the sauce it came with was absolutely delicious. My only complaint was that I wished the vegetable portions were a little larger. Overall, the experience reminded me that I need to visit Clyde's more often. I'll definitely be back, although I'll probably make my next visit to the Gallery Place Chinatown location.

You will find a few parking spots on the street in front of the restart and within a reasonable walking distance. They serve wings and tenders with a large selection of sauces to choose from. I placed my order online, so it was ready by the time I got there. I just double parked, like most people do in the city, ran in and got my food. The staff there was very nice. The inside customer area is very small, but I was in and out. I ordered 10 wings, which I thought I ordered in 2 flavors. however it only came in one, mambo. That is ok. The wings were very delicious. I mean like finger licking delicious, packed with flavor. I also got a side of mac and cheese, which was also really good. It was cheesy like I like it, fresh and tasty. All in all, I really enjoyed my meal here. I am always skeptical when a see a restaurant claiming to have the best of something. Even though the food was just alright, the overall experience more than made up for it. Between the vibe, the quality of the show, and the excellent service, it's definitely a place I'd come back to again and recommend to others looking for a unique night out/date night!

The problem with Lutèce is that they don't give a single crap about their customer's experience. We booked a 6 PM table. My friend and I arrived at 5:55, and were seated by 6. The waiter IMMEDIATELY told us we had the table for 2 hours and then had to leave. He then got us water and eventually (10 min in) took our drink orders. He then told us again that we had the table for only 2 hours. Our other friend was 15 minutes late. She arrived, and we looked at the menus. One was the regular menu, and one was a five course tasting. We discussed for ~5 minutes, and then told the waiter we all wanted the tasting menu. His response: "Sorry, it's too late for that now. The kitchen can't do it in the amount of time you have remaining." This for a $125 menu with an $80 wine pairing. We ended up ordering far less food, which was unceremoniously dumped on our table with no regard for coursing in an obvious attempt to hurry us along, and several times wait staff attempted to pick up plates that were clearly still full of food while we were clearly still eating. By the time we received the dessert menu we felt scared to order it, and completely unwelcome. And of course, you guessed it: they automatically add a 20 percent service charge so there's no market correction to their piss-poor service. The attitude at this restaurant is everything wrong with fine dining in general in this day and age, and in DC in particular: You should be so lucky to dine here, you lickspittles. Eat up and get out. Thanks, but no. Never again. You'll find me at the bar at Chloe where they take the time to know your name and never make you feel unwelcome.

I came here once on a rainy day without a reservation expecting it to be empty and it was quite the opposite, so this time I was prepared. As soon as my friend and I walked in, a server greeted us right away, helped us switch to an indoor booth, and ran through the daily special - with the kind of easy confidence you only get at a place that's been serving quality food like clockwork. The decor offers an artisanal vibe, almost like an Irish pub that's been polished up but still lived‑in. We started with the Hawaiian chicken appetizer, which was a standout dish: sweet, savory, and actually balanced. For the entrée, I went with the chicken parm, and it was extremely filling. I enjoyed the crispy breading and pasta. Definitely satisfying, and I'll be back to try the bread pudding soon. A couple of things that take away one star for me, personally: 1) I would recommend adding additional vegetarian options to the menu, 2) The noise and minimal space is a bit overwhelming on the senses.
