Buyer and Southeastern Honda customers beware. Honda vehicles are no longer built to the standard they once were, and the service experience at Southeastern Honda has similarly declined. Despite being a loyal, repeat customer since 2020, I have found that Southeastern Honda does not appear to value long-term customer relationships. I purchased a brand-new 2019 Honda Pilot from Southeastern Honda in 2020 and have consistently returned to their service department for all maintenance. This includes timely oil changes, fluid flushes, and all manufacturer-recommended maintenance and service minder requirements. The vehicle currently has approximately 75,000 miles. Despite this careful maintenance, the vehicle has required several costly repairs. These began with the replacement of the Honda Sensing camera and radar units, which cost approximately $2,300 in parts and labor. More recently, all warning lights illuminated on the dashboard, and diagnostics revealed the need for fuel injector replacement, as well as a timing belt and water pump replacement due to leakage ("timing belt wet"). This most recent repair totaled $3,363. The fuel injector issue is a well-documented problem affecting several Honda models, including the Pilot and Ridgeline. Honda issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) and extended the warranty to 10 years or 150,000 miles for certain 2016-2019 Honda Pilots. Unfortunately, not all VINs are included in this coverage, despite identical issues occurring within the same model years....my vehicle being one of them. Knowing this, Southeastern did nothing to try to lower the cost to help. Additionally, Southeastern Honda's pricing is excessive, and there was no effort made to accommodate or support a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars at their dealership. Labor is charged at $200 per hour. While the actual work performed amounted to approximately 4.5 hours (approximately $900 in labor), I was charged $1,774.36 based on "book labor" rather than actual time spent. On top of this, a $90.57 credit card processing fee was added. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage other customers to consider alternative Honda dealerships and to explore reputable independent repair shops for maintenance and repairs. In many cases, independent shops provide comparable or superior service at a significantly lower cost than dealership service departments. As for myself, I will no longer be giving my business to Southeastern Honda. Overall, this experience has been disappointing and has significantly diminished my confidence in both Honda's reliability and Southeastern Honda's commitment to customer service. read more

Got Ripped off for almost 2 grand gettting repairs. I unforyunately had to use their service because a component in my car is only available through the dealership, I told them what needed to be replaced, instead they told me a different part needed to be replaced, replaced that, it didnt fix anything, and then let me know i needed to pay thousands more to replace the part I asked to fixed the first time around. They even padded extra charges on after I had already paid. The language of the service agreement was worded in a weasely enough way where I cant sue. They seemed a lot more interested in upselling more services I didnt need than fixing what I did. hopefully my bad experience will save your wallet. Avoid. read more

I purchased several vehicles from them and felt I could trust them. I bought a NEW 2018 Honda Accord Sport in the beginning of 2019. It had 3000 miles on it and I questioned "why", they told me it was because they would use it around the shop to drive someone home etc. I felt ok about that and I purchased the car. Moving forward to now, I was thinking of either trading it in or selling it to buy another. I wanted to find out what my resale value is before I decided which way to go. I contacted Carfax to discover that my car was in an accident a few months before I purchased it. On my buyer's agreement it has nothing checked about their knowledge of the accident. It has NEW on it, and I thought I was buying a new car and would have no reason to inquire about any accident. I believe this is selling a car fraudulently. It is not legal to sell a new car in the state of Florida and not disclose an accident. With the information, I could have decided if I wanted to purchase the car. Now, because of this, the value of my car is less than it would have been without this accident. My car was well taken care of. I have every record of what has been done and was proactive on getting it in for regular maintenance. I have placed two calls to the general manager to speak to him directly about this situation. I was told, he would call me back soon. Two days in a row and no response. That tells me, he could care less about good customers. I brought my '19 Honda Odyssey in to get some recalls and some warranty issues fixed. We've had it since 2019 and absolutely love the van. So many memories in that vehicle. The tech was great explaining the situation that the tailgate control module was getting wet and it was causing electrical issues all over the vehicle. Well, that's what the "under warranty" is for, right? Turns out wrong. Southeastern Honda wanted $600 to "find" the pinhole leak that was causing the problem. Then if it wasn't a defect, would not cover the couple grand worth of work to fix the problem. If you Google tailgate problems on the Odyssey, I'm not alone with the water getting into the control module, but I wasn't about the drop $600 on a "what if" when I feel like Honda should cover that. They would not proceed with anymore of the warranty work until I do that first and even if it was a defect, I was not getting that money back. Basically, I brought the van into get serviced and had planned on keeping it for years. Just got new tires and a new battery. I left frustrated with Honda and their lack of service and commitment to their customers and now want to sell the vehicle and have no plans of purchasing a Honda anytime soon. Maybe another service center would have told me differently, maybe not, but they lost a loyal customer. This at least was my experience. read more

This place does horrible service. They can't communicate between departments about what parts to order and we spend several days taking the car back and forth dealing because of their incompetence. Worst yet when I got home I noticed they failed to put the wheel well mounding on right or broke the clips that hold it in place. Being Friday they were closing for the week end. We have long trip Saturday morning to visit family and I had to clamp and glue the plastic fender trim on and I am hoping it won't blow off the car and cause damage to the paint. Bought my last two CRV's in Orlando, but this time I reached out to all of Central Florida's Honda dealers (tried going the Costco Auto route also). I think that's really the way to shop- visit each dealership's website (I went out about 100 mile radius) and fill out their little online form and ask for the out the door price without a trade-in and with your county's sales tax. Then if they aren't willing to give you the out the door price, just move on to the next one. Anyway, Donna from Southeastern replied pretty quickly with a total number which was about 1,000 dollars lower than anyone else. Couldn't believe it- but I did some research and this dealership had an A+ at BBB and had been around for 50 years to so. SO I kind of reluctantly put down my down payment ($500) and then picked up my car when it came in a week later. Kept waiting for some hijinks since the price was so much lower (not that they seemed shady or anything- in fact everyone was friendly and professional- I just had a bad experience many years ago and, again the price was so much lower it seemed too good to be true). But anyway, there was no hijinks or last minute maneuvering- it was all good. Purchase process was easy too. Was out in about an hour, including a test drive. A little bit of pressure from the financing guy to get the extended warranty, but not too bad- overall he was also friendly, patient with all my questions, and efficient. Good stuff! Regardless, my Southeastern Honda experience was an easy 5 stars and I'm definitely going to shop them again in ten years when it's time for another new car. Before buying a new car, I stopped at several places to compare prices. Southeastern Honda gave me the best price. No one had the truck I wanted so I had to wait about a month anyway so I gave them a $500 deposit to hold the truck. Meanwhile another dealer agreed to meet Southeastern's price so I went back to Southeastern and asked them for something in writing. The other dealer gave me one but Southeastern absolutely refused. What kind of way is that to do business? So I decided to go with the other dealer instead, so when I went back to Southeastern to get my deposit, they said I had to come in to get the refund. I'm over an hour away so I was not happy about that. In addition, try getting anyone to call you back. I would never deal with them. read more

I love this place and go across town just to this location. Guys and ladies are great, especially Tom and Fernando. They joke around and genuinely want to help the customer. This is the first time that I've owned a Honda CRV and they explain everything to me, never overcharge for anything, are mindful of recalls, tell me what it will cost before they do it, and what may need to be repaired in the future and sometimes even do little things at no charge. My Fit's battery was dead. AAA jump started it and tested it and said, "replace bad battery". Battery was 60 days old. Took it to Advanced Auto on Eau Gallie. Josh, the manager, said, "Battery is fine. (It was still under their warranty.) Alternator is bad. My friend down the street can replace it cheaper than Honda."
