I went 100% Electric and got a new BMW iX Drive 60. They made everything smooth, stress-free, and honestly exciting. Then unfortunately, only a week after getting my car, I was involved in an accident and absolutely heartbroken. The team at BMW of Melbourne immediately stepped in and guided me through every step of the process with kindness, patience, and genuine care. Chris in service was amazing, and Angelina went above and beyond helping me with all of the tech features and questions. We are in week 3 and have no clue when we will receive the registration. Called the general manager and assistant manager and neither would return our call. Don't Trust This Dealership! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership. I bought a BRAND NEW car here just a few months ago, and it's been nothing but trouble since day one. Within the first day, driving it off the lot....an issue appeared on the dash. Front headlight sensor - I brought it back, and they claimed it was a "minor sensor issue" and supposedly fixed it -- but it came back a week or so later. (They didn't fix anything the first time I brought it in clearly) Since then, the check engine light has come on. Had to bring the car in again for them to fix it. Keep in mind this is a BRAND NEW CAR. I trusted them because of the BMW brand. My other car - AUDI Q5 has not given me any issues! The service department at the Melbourne BMW dealership is extremely disappointing at very best. 3 weeks ago our iDrive touchscreen display began malfunctioning, switching from app to function over and over on its own without us even touching it. They got us in, CLAIMED they had re-downloaded the software and had us pick our "fixed" X3 up later that day. LESS THAN ONE WEEK LATER, the same malfunction began happening again! This second time the iDrive display, without us even touching it, would call random numbers, shut off our parking camera and EVEN called emergency roadside assistance (what an incredibly terrible error. We could have unknowingly had emergency services running up on us thinking we were in a wreck. A dangerous and completely unnecessary waste of use of emergency call services!) At this point the service department couldn't get us in for the second round of attempted repair of our iDrive touchscreen display for THREE WEEKS! Yesterday we dropped our car off ON TIME at 8:00am. After no callbacks, my wife called them around 2:00pm and all they could tell her was they'd "probably have to keep our car overnight because they were still troubleshooting trying to figure out what was wrong. Today, one day later, we just now got a call back at 3:30pm and all the service representative could tell us was the iDrive display either needed a new module or may need to be completely replaced. Ultimately on that call my wife was told it would be some time before they could get the approval from BMW to get parts and still then it would be some time before they could get the parts to repair the screen. A process that was supposed to take just hours has ended up being a huge headache. My wife then told the representative that we had a vacation planned and that we needed our car asap. The representative tried saying we could use our loaner car for that. Bull****! The loaner car has a daily allowance of 75 miles and our trip is 130 miles ONE WAY. Additionally we would have to take our dog across town before our trip and the loaner car program DOES NOT allow pets in their loaner cars. We spent $70,000 of our very hard earned money to get a brand new current year BMW with just 7 miles when we drove it off the lot and what do we get when we experience a technical maintenance issue? We get half a** service and dodgy, inconsistent communication from the dealership! DO NOT BUY OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. Save yourself the headache and go down the road to the Porsche, Lexus, Mercedes or Audi dealerships. Their service department has been an absolute headache from day one. read more

I have given Melbourne BMW multiple opportunities to live up to the BMW name, quality, and most importantly, service. Due to their lackluster service engagement and quality, I have often chosen to purchase from other BMW dealers, as the service department here seems to care only about receiving excellent survey responses. I hope this review helps BMW customers decide whether to do business or get their car serviced here. First and foremost, please do yourself a favor and make a video of your BMW before you drop it off for service or anything else. Second, the surveys they send out are only active for 1 or 2 weeks, so they will continually lead you on or pretend to call you until the survey period expires. Against my better judgment and due to their history, I normally decline a complimentary car wash after service. I wish I had done so this time as well. They ruined my 21-inch wheels, and despite my calls and emails, they have decided to ghost me--except when sales cold-calls me for a potential sale. Finally, they have not been responsive to me on numerous occasions except when they want the bmw complementary service $$ from bmw North America. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. They will never get another piece of my business. In this financial environment, not many folks are buying six-figure BMWs, and Melbourne BMW will need me before I need them. Overall good experience but it's been weird a few times customer service seems to depend on who you are. One of thr customer service guys chose to call me buddy several times, yet called all the other customers Sir.....maybe give everyone the same respect. I'm not a kid. Biggest issue has been twice w the guy that takes car keys from you (older white guy). He didn't greet me when I exited my vehicle to hand him the keys and rudely stared at me. Then he said " I was about to say something" I said what? Please say. And he goes on to question why I pulled in the car port the wrong way, meaning from the backside near garage doors instead of from the front way coming from US1. Well easy, it was a car parked there and I would have been head on with the other car. They said i voided my warranty on our M4 tires due to us putting an off brand tire on. When I told them they were the ones who put that tire on they didn't know what to say. They said i needed an alignment butcwhen I pointed out they replaced the tire they never calked back. I expect more when I spend 60k on a car. Have sent multiple emails to manager never heard back. Will never recommend this place till they rectify issue. Sad. read more

i am very disappointed and disgusted with the service that I received on May 31 2025 on my 2022 BMW . I scheduled an appointment a week in advance with making them aware of my time frame and schedule. BMW told me the service would take approximately 2hr and the total of the service. I brought my car in on time for the appointment at 10am drop it off expecting to receive my car back within the 2hr timeframe. I understand things happen but no communication at all is unacceptable . I call to check on the status of my vehicle around 12pm in which I was total my car was not even serviced yet and it could be around 4 pm that I get my car back . Unacceptable bad and poor service customer communication and no consideration for anything that I had to do that day. Which was to attend my family funeral service that I end up missing because my car didn't start getting service until 2:03 pm and they called me at 3:30pm to pick up my car. On top of this experience of bad poor customer service that was incredibly inconsistent to anything that I had scheduled on my agenda ,my 6 year old child end up finding a smoking Vape in the seat of the car from whom ever service or detailed it. I'm a non-smoker and my child should never have access to things that can harm them because someone left it my car after a service I am paying for unacceptable. BMW took / discounted by $30 for the inconvenience lol . I spoke with The service manager today, Monday, June 2 2025, after calling in this morning leaving a message with the service desk and leaving a message on the answering machine. He never responded. It took me to call back around 4pm to explain what happened in which he said to me well I'm sorry but you did get the service done what would you like me to do in a Brush off way. I have had my car serviced at BMW in Naples Fl and received the most positive Pleasant experience with Quality customer service treatment. I'm a Melbourne native but I currently live near Tampa. With that said I do all of my usual BMW buying/service needs in my area. But, on occasion when I'm visiting my hometown I stop into Melbourne BMW. Recently I had a nagging but minor problem with my 328i. The dang glove compartment light is out. I know, major stuff, right? Well, this was a quest that kept coming up unanswered. Of course, I replaced the light bulb first. No good. Then, I went online in an attempt to find which fuse to check for this lighting circuit. No good. I couldn't even find a single reference as to which fuse to check. Then, I thought maybe the door switch was bad. Usually there is a visible switch when you open the glove compartment. But our wonderful BMW engineers outfoxed me. I looked all around and no switch was to be found! I happened to be in Melbourne so I stopped in to Melbourne BMW, had a good chat with one of the parts guys. He couldn't find the answer, either. Enter MIchael Knoche. He's the Parts Manager. We sat down at a computer and he diligently went at it. Soon, he gave me the fuse location and type, plus he divulged that the light switch was hidden behind the glove compartment as part of the damper assembly. Some folks may wonder why this was a big deal? I figured it was kinda frivolous to take my car into the shop for a dead glove compartment light. Right? I'm a take-charge-and-fix-it kind of guy. I was NOT going to be beat by some engineering eccentricity. Thanks to Michael, I now know, just as with a refrigerator, that the light indeed comes on when you open the glove compartment! I brought my BMW here for a simple oil change. Figured I'd spend the extra dollars and have it "done by the pros." I just relocated to the area from out of state and had no preference in dealer. They just happened to be the closest. Long story short... the tech removed the center, spring loaded bird cage portion of the oil filter cap/housing and failed to notice or care to reattach it when installing the new filter. I drove away thinking all was well until I tried checking my oil with the onboard computer. It kept failing to read. Once I got home, I pulled the cap off to discover the oil filter cartridge floating around unsecured within the housing. I thought this was the kind of crap we were supposed to avoid by using a BMW dealer instead of a Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube type operation? Don't be fooled... the tech's working here are of the same caliber. If they can't change the oil properly, how can I trust them to handle the real work when I need it? The fact is, I can't trust them and you shouldn't either. If I wasn't mechanically inclined... I would have driven around like that until my next oil change, potentially damaging my engine. They will never get a chance to make another mistake on my vehicle and I suggest those reading this don't take a chance with yours. read more

I made my appointment at 10:00AM and came in early. Kimberly showed the car to me late since she had to put gas in the car .. yes , the car was not ready for me to take a test drive even though I booked in advance. 2. Joeyl "tried" discussing the numbers after my test drive. He was super arrogant from the beginning. I asked him a basic question and his response under mined my questions as if I didn't know how to read at a kindergarten level. He is very judge mental ! I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and 30,000 mile inspection for my vehicle. The appointment was made a week in advance, for an 8:00am appointment. I arrived for my appointment at 8:00am and was given a loaner vehicle. Upon drop off, I was ensured by the service representative that I would be informed throughout the day (via text) of the status of the vehicle as well as if anything serious issues were diagnosed during the 30,000 mile inspection. After about 7.5hrs (3:30pm) I still had not heard back from the representative, so I texted him. To which, he responded that the vehicle is still in inspection. Long story short, I call back at 5:30pm because I never received an update. I was informed that the inspection results state the tread on my tires are beginning to wear. That's right, approximately 10 hours in the shop...to tell me...they looked at the tires...any mechanic could've told you the tread on my tires were beginning to wear within 5 minutes of inspecting the vehicle!!! After asking why it took 10 hours to complete an oil change and come to the conclusion that my tires had some wear, the service representative responded that he was unaware that I had such "high expectations" for their service department. In addition, the sales representative insisted that my 8:00am appointment (scheduled a week in advance) signifies an 8:00am drop off time, not the time of the service. I've owned BMWs for the last 8 years and have had multiple oil changes and car inspections. They typically take no longer than 4 hours. In addition, when I schedule an 8:00am appointment, the car service began at 8:00am. Moral of the story, don't waste your time and money at this dealership. For my Melbourne locals, take the 1hr 45min drive over to Ocala. They are a white glove dealership that will treat you with the upmost respect. It is well worth it. I visited BMW Melbourne location for service. I was told that the wheel speed sensors needed to be replaced and the cost will be $1,480. I decided to search online to see what is this all about and saw a few videos online. I've check for the parts and they were between $100-$175. Labor shouldn't have taken more than 1-2 hours. So, I called other local certified auto mechanics and was able to get it done for under $500. Trust me, I like to support local vendors. But, I don't have an extra $1,000. In addition, I was quote for front and rear brakes a total of $2,228. Enough said about the brakes. I find this dealership service prices to be excessive. I will have to buy my next BMW from another dealer. read more

I must say this is the worst place I have called for an oil change. Johnathon I think was his name called after I wrote a message through the website that I needed assistance for an oil change. So Johnathon called to explain the prices. He literally told me an oil change for a 2014 535i (6 cylinder) and said its $341 or somewhere in the $300's. I literally laughed at him and got angry as of who will pay for that when I go to Braman BMW in Miami and they charge me $125+tax(I told him by mistake I pay usually $110 big deal it's still cheaper) and he literally said "well that's a special"! No it's not!! I've been servicing them for years and used different BMW dealerships and all oil changes are usually in the low $100's. then he said well they must know you! Not really I go there for oil changes and every now and then if I have to but usually see different people. After that he replied "well sir the best I can do is $240!.......... No No I'm not paying $240 for an oil change, it's not about the money because we all work hard for it and have it, it's the principals of you guys overcharging customers for a Oil change especially on a older car. Overall I'm really disappointed at this dealership and was expecting to be a customer there to service my car especially since I just moved to Melbourne but I did call 2 places which I will drive an extra mile for. Do not get your car serviced here if it is not under warranty! I had some engine cooling repairs my X3 required. Was going to do it myself, but after I just finishing replacement of my valve cover, I didn't want to deal with diagnosing the problem and ripping the engine compartment apart again. I decided to let Melbourne BMW take a look at it. After spending $1,559 for the installation of 4 cooling parts I reviewed the service invoice when I got home. I then went to https://www.bmwinmelbourne.com/ to check on the price of the parts if I picked them up from the parts department counter. I found that they charge double for the parts if they install them on your car, plus the labor charge of $185 to $195/hour to install them. If you do decide to go to this dealer, I suggest you allow them to diagnose the problem, give you a list of parts that they will require to fix the car and then purchase the parts from the parts department and give them to the service department to make the repairs. Not gonna fix it for 6 months just so the people can see it . When you touch the tunnel in the rear passenger area , you already feel the chaft of the car in your hand . And a kid stepping on there will cause the stupid plastic clip break and then you will have to pay $867 to change that stupid piece of s....t that costs $17 on EBay . And if you don't want to pay it , they still charge you $200 for inspection without doing anything on your car.
