Jay gave me the facts of the car I was interested in and went out of his way to send me pictures. I never felt pressured. [This review was prompted when I had a bad experience with a new car dealer in Vero Beach that sold Honda cars and trucks. I took my truck in for an audio problem. I was very disappointed with the Vero Beach dealer's service and billing.) I bought my truck used in January from HARBOR CITY AUTO SALES of Melbourne (321)733-4535. It only had 30,000 miles on it (a four year old truck!) They changed the oil, oil and air filters, wiper blades, I'm not sure about the transmission fluid, but they did replace the tires with treadwear=540 traction=A temperature=A tires that have been very good. (All verified by two mechanics inspections and me.) It was detailed and they had an expert touchup painter cover any chips. The dealer showed me the Car-Fax range of prices and charged me the average price. You know what he didn't charge me for? The truck sitting on his lot (storage fee??,) any of the replacement parts I mentioned (not even "shop supplies!") he didn't bill me for the water bottle he gave me or for breathing his air (office supplies.) I had an insurance issue that was easily cleared up in his office and he didn't even charge me for sitting in his chair or charging my phone or even writing up the contract! (data preparation or whatever Vatland Honda calls it.) The only thing he didn't deliver that was promised was a full tank of gas. I didn't have an issue with it but I mentioned it when I noticed it. He pulled out more than enough of his pocket money to fill an empty gas tank and asked if that was enough! You know what? He gave me the Carfax report for free! It showed that the truck was taken care of and maintained very well--locally! I was charged for most of these things by the Vero Beach Honda Dealer. I left a review there too. I really wish that I remembered the owner's name (Later found out it is Don.). I'm sorry Buddy. You are the best car-buying experience I ever had! That wasn't his priority, his signature is hard to read, and I believe if you dealt with anyone who worked there the story would be the same. read more

In 2014 I came there in search for a car as the one I had was dying from a 2nd blow head gasket. Well I would find a gem cause 10 years later I am still rolling in that car. Was a great experience they were fast friendly and easy to work with, they found me a great financings. I was on the road in my new car with in a day of deciding that would be the car I get. I returned in 2023 to look at another car to potentially to buy, but someone else beat me. But they were still just as friendly and cool as they were in 2014. read more

BEST Used Car Dealer! We were not looking forward to buying a used car, but we promised out granddaughter ... We had looked at several used cars, but could not find a "good" used car in our dollar range. After viewing available cars on the website, we called Harbor City Auto Sales and verified that several cars that would satisfy our requirements, were available. Not only do they have many great used cars on their lot with low mileage and in top notch condition, but you get Customer Service with a Smile! Jerry Compo was our salesman, although we also interacted with Chris, Don Jr and Don Sr. They were ALL very helpful, informative and pleasant! Jerry took the time to address all our concerns. There were no high pressure sales -- just good ol` honest professionalism. He was very personable and we enjoyed talking with him. We went to a classic car show on Sunday. On Monday we decided we wanted a hot convertible. We found a red 2013 Camero Convertible on CARFAX at Harbor City Auto Sales. We Called and spoke to Dan "the Camero Man". He told us the car was spotless, and would sell fast as he listed it below book value. We wanted to come se it that day but he was nearly 80 miles away. He took a hundred dollar deposit and said if it's not the car for us we will get our money back. We told him we would be up the next day. We scoured the internet for a like car abs kept coming back to this one. We drive up the next morning and saw "our car@. It was love at first sight. It was more beautiful then it then the picture, a flawless beauty. He handed us the keys and said go out and enjoy her, which we did!!! When we got back he just said well, we both said we'd take it. Dan was extraordinary! He's a wonderful honest man. I would buy anything from him. He took care of our transaction and much to our chagrin we realized we forgot our checkbook. I love love love these people. Almost immediately I had a car and was driving it home. I had the WORST time trying to get into a car I loved after downsizing from two different dodge trucks that had my heart entangled in them. I went through community credit union and was approved for a loan and their initial "auto guy" was absolutely horrendous to deal with. I went completely alone to every car dealer in town and was annoyed and fed up by the time I got to these guys. The manager called me personally, we talked about my options and later that day I was signing away for my new car. (WHICH I LOVE!!!) They made everything in my situation do a complete 180. I will always be buying vehicles from these guys as long as I live here and no doubt will I be referring every friend and family looking for a new or used car. All of the vehicles they've had that I've seen even driving by are in immaculate condition. They have an on-site mechanic and shop, and are extremely helpful. The Owner Don and his staff are top notch. I have bought multiple vehicles from them, and I will not buy a used vehicle anywhere else. They are a rare breed of honest car sales people and you can count on the vehicle being thoroughly checked out and in excellent shape. However in the unlikely event that it does turn out to have an issue after you purchase a vehicle, you can still count on them, even months later. I ran into an issue with a car at least 3 months after I bought it from them, and they still helped me getting the problem solved. If you are going to buy a used car this is definitely the place! I shopped all over Florida and test drove 15 different vehicles. I'm very particular and I couldn't have been happier with the service and overall vibe of this dealership. Definitely not your typical slimeball used car lot, I bought a beautiful car with low miles and all the features I wanted after searching for a long time! They got me a lower rate at my bank on my loan and let me take the car for a test drive all day with a full tank of gas. I test drove in the morning and came back and bought it before the end of the day.
