I've always used Southeastern Honda and have had an unsolved frustration with them not being able to figure out why I had a surging/hesitation from a stop. This will be long; so, for anyone not wanting to read it all, a quick summary: They have, at least, customer service issues. If you even suggest there may have been something wrong done, by one of their mechanics, the niceness, quickly, goes away and they treat you like you weren't just smiling together, the previous day. Sadly, I've never had a complete 180 degree change in opinion, of an organization, as I have with Intercoastal Auto Service. When I first approached them to do some minor repairs (replace window/roof molding, check system coding, putting air in my tires, etc.), they were very friendly and kind. Even when I, accidentally, showed up on the wrong day for my appointment, they were nice enough to accommodate me. As I waited for them to finish working on my car, I overheard them mention to another customer: "We believe in integrity, here". Combining their behavior, at that time, I left thinking such was true. However, the next day, I walked outside to my front right tire being completely flat. Having, recently, bought new tires and that tire showing no signs of low pressure, I was confused and went back to Intercoastal Auto Service. When I walked in and with a smile I said, "I didn't expect to see you, so soon". Then, preceded to tell them that my tire was flat and since I had been there the day before, came back. Immediately, both the male and female employees scream "What?!?/Oh My God!". The male employee then suggested "This could've happened, while you were driving to any of the many places you've been". To which, I responded, "I work from home and the only place I had been, since the day prior, was their shop". At this time, the female gets up from her desk saying "I can't believe this" and slams the door, as she excited to the garage. After a bit more of him aggressively saying why it couldn't have been their shop, the male, finally, decides to go outside and check my car. He took a quick look of the tire and admitted seeing no nail and offered to put air in the tire. As he was doing so, I mentioned how "I didn't appreciate the manor and tone they took with me, as a customer with a complaint." He, once again, said "We have integrity" and didn't see anything wrong with how they responded. So, I asked, "You both were screaming and she walked out, slamming the door. Do you think that's good customer service?" He denied and then said that I accused them of "putting a nail" in my tire. He claimed, they only acted that way because "they have integrity". To which, I quickly noted that I never said they put a nail in my tire and simply said it was quite coincidental. At this point, the female came and when questioned, admitted she slammed the door. Then, began screaming at me saying, similarly, I "accused them of sabotaging" my tire. After some back and forth (admittedly, I began screaming, too), I left. I, immediately, went to the nearest Tires Plus and had them check my tire. The technician started with checking the tire pressure and, while doing so, noticed a small black circular object (similar to a rubber band) was in my tire stem. Unfortunately, they weren't able to run a full test on my tire, that day; so, I scheduled an appointment for the following day. Wanting to believe Intercoastal Auto Service had some integrity, as they claimed, I kept checking my tire, for the next 17hrs. Unsurprisingly, my tire didn't lose any air, despite having lost all air within the same period the prior day. At the end of the day, I will NEVER go back. I suggest anyone that plans to deal with them, in the future, consider the potential headache, hidden in disguise. read more

By far the best I have run into. All they do is Acura and Honda. What they don't do is try and get you to do repairs you don't need. Family​ owned and operated it is a breath of fresh air. JP and Kelli thank you for coming in and send you a thank you note in the mail afterward​. Yes in the MAIL. A tell for me on any garage is how clean it is. And this is clean and tidy. Not a large place but they know their business and run it well. I only wish I could find their twins who work on Toyota's so I can avoid the dealer. Best deal on an oil change too. Fantastic service that checks all the boxes. Here's why: 1. Appointment Times Matter: I called, set an appointment, and the car was immediately ready to be taken into the bay upon my arrival. 2. Speedy Service: Transmission fluid change took maybe 20 minutes. 3. Fair Price: I was charged a fair rate for labor. Significantly less than the stealership! 4. Clean Shop: The service bays and the lounge were clean, organized, and well kempt. Finally, I was sent a handwritten thank you card from JP and the crew! I didn't know shops like this still existed. You want it done right then this is the place you want to go to. There work is through and what other places might miss these guys won't . I have a 2018 accord with 24000 miles and had them do the 30000 mile maintanance. I live in Cadillac MI and we try to come down to Florida once a year and when were here If I need anything checked or serviced this is the place I go to. I believe this last visit in March was my 4 th visit and there work is just as impressive as the first visit. read more

Intercoastal Auto Services only works on Honda's and Acura's. I own an Acura TSX and JP (the owner) has taken excellent care of her. The business is fully liscened and trained in Acura's and Honda's, the owner, JP actually worked for Honda before opening his own shop. The shop doesn't look amazing from the road, but what they save in overhead is definitely reflected in the price. I recently got my 60k checkup for hundreds less than the dealer was going to charge me. I fully trust the mechanics who work here and trust that they are not going to take advantage of me. read more

I'm very particular with my Acura RSX, so I require knowledgeable mechanics that use quality OEM parts.  Intercoastal fulfills both of these needs and even goes a step further with their customer relations.  I tend to ask as many questions as possible when getting work done, and the staff is always very thorough with their answers (as well as patient with me!).  Pricing is more than fair for the excellent quality of work.   The mechanics are honest and upfront about the condition of your car and will tell you what can wait and what is urgent.  If you care about your Honda/Acura, there is simply no other choice.  Take it to Intercoastal Auto and you'll thank yourself later. read more
