One day, my favorite window stopped opening smoothly. Google and ChatGPT said the window balances needed to be replaced. Windows are expensive and I'm not gutsy enough to DIY it. I sent out a few emails to local window companies - one didn't even get back to me, one gave me a very high quote, another said the whole window had to be replaced (?!), and then there's South Valley Windows. Regina emailed me back quickly and asked all the right questions. She knows her windows and what she's talking about. She gave me a reasonable quote, put in the order for the replacement parts and said it would take a couple weeks to arrive. The parts arrived much faster than that and Joe reached out to schedule a time for the replacement. Mike came over shortly after and replaced the springs in just a few minutes - it took me longer to move the couch out of the way for him than for him to actually do the job! I know this was a small job compared to what you typically do, but I really appreciate how professional and friendly everyone was and how easy the whole process was. I'm sure we'll need our windows serviced again in the future, and I will definitely be using South Valley Windows. read more

I can't say enough great things about SVW. First, the pricing is excellent. I got a quote from another company which was almost double the cost. I worked with Joe and he was always responsive and followed up. The glass was delivered within the promised timeframe and the installers did an excellent job at ensuring there was no glass mess anywhere in my home. Very high quality work with friendly service. I highly recommend them. read more

Amazing service. Fair pricing and experienced installation and repair team. Owner Joe was great to work with. Highly recommend!

South Valley Glass and Windows is the best. They replaced 4 windows with efficiency and professionalism. The windows are all Milgard and they look beautiful. In fact, we replaced 2 windows in the living room without screens ("Bay Type") as screens weren't necessary. What a difference! It opened up the view and made our living room brighter and more modern looking. We'll never go to anyone else for windows!! read more

Love my Milgard Windows... they are such an improvement over the old ones... Also a great warranty...I had them in my previous house...and after 10 years a seal failed...Milgard came and replaced it...no charge. I am a fan for life. read more

We had whole house window replacement done as well as *adding* four new windows to our dark, ranch home. Very happy with the results and glad we went South Valley Windows. Their prices were competitive with "big box" stores, highly skilled workers and zero sales pressure. They also do more than the retro fit type windows and because they have general contractors, were able to create new windows! Highly recommend! read more

This is one professional company. They showed up on time and did excellent work. Joe had the opportunity to sell us a new back door, we were ready to buy a new one. He looked at and did a quick fix. Super honest. I would definitely call Joe in the future for any windows we might need. read more

UPDATE: Joe reached out to me and we got everything worked out. He came and installed the 2 missing sliders and installed a more permanent solution to our broken sliding glass door frame. Will definitely use again as Joe and Christian were super friendly and did a great job, just need to make sure job is completely done before paying in full. read more

After months of trying to deal with the manufacturer on a window issue I called multiple private window installers who were unwilling to help. I came across South Valley Windows and Joe and his team did not hesitate to help. Joe took time to listen to our issue and even coordinated directly with the manufacturer on our behalf and was able to get our window repaired properly. Thanks to Joe and South Valley Windows for going above and beyond to help. You have a customer for life! read more

Wow! I had no idea service like this still existed in the Bay Area. Had a minor repair of Milgard windows and a sash replacement. Paul came by in the hour and had all he needed to complete the order. He also temporarily fixed the broken window until the parts arrived. Exceptional service! read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience with South Valley Windows. From the initial meeting with Paul to the installation by Mike, Jacob, and Christian to the finish border and stucco work by Miguel and his crew the entire process was flawless. Their professionalism and workmanship was matched by their courteous and friendly demeanor. The price for our new Milgard windows was extremely competitive and the overall value for the complete job was truly amazing. They even installed a new front door and security door for us and the finished product was outstanding. I highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for new windows. read more

We have a huge 4000 ft² home with a lot of windows upstairs and down. Our primary need was to replace the windows in our French doors and secondarily to repair and service all of our windows so they opened and closed easily. I knew from reading reviews that these guys are very busy and they lived up to the reputation. After a technician made his first visit it took several weeks before we got the estimate and I had to call to request it. Then they were booked out several weeks but they did show up as scheduled. They did an excellent job replacing the French door windows and they went through in the entire house and all of our windows now work and open easily. I think the price was fair. I'm giving them a five star because I would happily hire them again. read more

South Valley Windows were amazing to work with! We were extremely impressed with Paul and his crew. They were professional, courteous and so efficient. Paul was incredibly responsive and made this process easy from start to finish. Of all the home service companies we have hired...this one is the best we have ever worked with. We are very happy we chose South Valley Windows to replace our home windows! read more

South Valley Windows was great to work with getting two new picture windows installed at our vacation home. The installation crew arrived on time, worked quickly, safely and cleaned the job site after installing our windows. Installing new windows on a 75 year old house can be challenging. No problem for South Valley Windows. Very happy with the results. read more

I found my window company needs in South Valley Windows. I purchased my house here in Morgan Hill back in March and needed to have 3 windows replaced. I had two window companies come by to give me quotes for the three windows. The funny part is that these suppose reputable companies recommended me to replace all my house windows. My thought was wow my house is only 18 years old why in the heck would I have to replace all the windows. We passed on replacing all windows. I thought it was ridiculous. I just need 3 windows replaced. My wife found South Valley Windows on an ad. We decided to get another quote for just 3 windows. Paul showed up and inspected the windows I wanted replaced. Paul said there's nothing work with your windows everything opens and shuts fine. The only thing I needed to replace was the panes due to failed seals. All 3 windows had a dos look to them. The panes were ordered and two weeks later I had like new windows. I was taken back by the other two companies mentioned earlier. They both wanted to get over on me. How dishonest of them. I prefer not to mention their names in public. The quotes given were between 14k-16k. The replacement of the three window panes including a sliding door pane were around $1500. What a difference, South Valley Windows have integrity and have earned my loyalty. read more

Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and knew what I was seeking to repurpose obsolete but quite functional Milgard windows,

This will be a bit of a weird review, because these are weird times. One of the glass panels in our patio door shattered (bird strike; the bird walked away...), fortunately, within the warranty period. Unfortunately, upon contacting the manufacturer, they indicated that they were so backed up that they were not even looking at warranty claims for 3 months. Delightful....gave Joe Doyle at South Valley a call, and he said he thought he might be able to do better than that. Thus began sort of a long road, because the manufacturer was still in play, but at least I didn't have to deal with them. Bottom line, while it took a while, they got it done, and, as of this writing, getting it done takes some determination. read more

Give South Valley Windows a call for a free estimate. We were helped by Joe who was very knowledgeable and personable. Joe showed up to my home with a mask on (COVID conscious a plus!) and my emails were responded to promptly. read more

They were supposed to send me a quote and never did. Their lead times were very long and more expensive than neighboring glass shops. I used Delta glass in Watsonville, they were fast and cost effective. read more

We highly recommend South Valley Windows. Their professionalism and attention to detail is amazing. We absolutely love our windows and appreciate the advice to go with blinds that match the trim. Thank you Paul Brummit and team! read more

I called to have my bedroom window glass replaced, excited to have someone arrive same day to take measurements. Sadly never received an estimate/quote after following up twice. Decided to go with another company. read more

We just ordered 5 windows and a large sliding window from South Valley Windows, Paul ( one of the owners) came out did all the measurements, we decided to do a retrofit window, much easier than having to replace the stuco on the outside. The support and customer service was absolutely 5 star! The other owner Joe, personally delivered the windows to the house! Instead of pushing us to have them install the windows they were over the top helpful showing us how to do it. Great business, and great customer service! Highly recommend this shop! Super quick turn around time on the window order! read more

I got the estimate few months ago from joe, he was very professional and friendly very reasonable price. He didn't do any pushing to get the job and very honest. It felt right from the beginning. I called few times to ask some questions and every time he was very helpful. I changed all my Old windows . I changed my my mind last minutes to different kinds for 2 of them , again joe was very helpful, even the new order was little bit more pricey he kept the original contact $. They finish the job in one day and I couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out. Absolutely love the new windows! It was a little discoloring on the handle and as soon as I mentioned it, he said he will order the new one. Definitely recommend this company! Thank you south valley windows! read more

I had to beg to get a quote. I sent pictures and a detailed description of what was needed. Two weeks later Joe came out and confirmed the measurements. I emailed him that same day and approved the quote. He said it would take at least 4 weeks. Well, 6 weeks later I sent an email to get a status and I got no reply at all. I am done with this company. Not impressed with their response time and customer service. read more

We had a fantastic experience with Joe and Paul from South Valley windows. They made time immediately to come out and talk through options, take measurements, and give us advice, after we had a broken-window situation. In the end, we decided to move forward with a different team because we also needed the front door replaced and it was easier for us to have a single team, but we would have absolutely hired them for window replacement other than that. Highly recommend! read more

They obviously don't care about their business. They stood us up with the appointment to get a quote, had to call them again. When they finally came, they said we would get a quote in a day or two and never received a quote... If this is how they conduct their business it is not worth to deal with these folks. I would give them zero stars if it were possible. read more

My wife and I shopped around for the best deals on windows and doors, receiving several quotes. When Paul Brummitt walked in from South Valley Windows, we liked him immediately. He wasn't a fancy salesman, just a down to earth honest guy wanting to help make our house better. We are so happy we found him and his team (shout out to Mike!). We couldn't be happier with not only the beautiful windows, but the service as well. They are quick to respond whether something came up or for just a simple question. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for windows. I only wish I could hire them for other work I still need on this old house. Thank you Paul, Mike and the team. We appreciate you taking care of us. - Angee and Jules read more

Paul and his crew are the best !! Our home is 30 years old and we live in a beautiful area with wonderful views, however after 30 years we didnt realize what we were missing. Our old windows were fogged and just in bad need of replacing. We also had some doors that were in poor shape...amazing what you get used to over time. The new windows and doors that Paul provided transformed our home ! The views are amazing again !! Paul was willing to work with us and gently walked us through the whole process. His crew, led by Mike were not only very professional and skilled but 'just nice people' and enabled us to feel very comfortable from start to finish. My wife and I highly recommend Paul Brummit and South Valley Windows for all of your window and door needs. read more

Paul and his staff were easy to work with. They are honest about the pricing and fair. I really appreciate the how responsive they were with my phone calls, and they were on time for appts at my house. I would recommend South Valley Windows. I'm even planning to use this company for replacing more of my house windows, when the time is right. read more

Paul, Mike and the rest of the crew are great! They not only did a great job on our windows, Paul came up with a great idea for a dog door option that has saved us! You are not getting big corporate talk. These guys are local and treat you like family. I trust these guys to be in the house when i could not and my pups love them. I ask a lot of questions and they never lost patience with me. All my follow up calls with questions that I forgot to ask were responded to. I highly recommend this team for quality and reliable work. read more

Paul was great to work with. We had a challenging screen door replacement and he kept at it until it was perfect.

Paul came out and we wanted a bay kitchen window, and his vision was clearly to match the window, framing and finish to the style of the house. He was not just 'selling a window', but proposed a finished product our neighbors will all applaud as it matches the house and other windows looking as if it was always there! Had a few other things such as a screen and other windows that needed repair, which we followed up on, and I appreciate his efforts as well as his crew. However, the 5 star rating is for his vision and how his team completed the window, trim and stucco work. read more

The people associated with this business seem very flakey. Called and scheduled for estimate, showed up and took measurements but took weeks and much prompting to finally get estimate. Scheduled the work, never showed up to do work. Called back and they said they forgot to order windows because computer crashed. Funny as we had been emailing back and forth all that time. Went with other company, work completed very promptly and professionally. read more

I requested a quote on line apprx 3 weeks ago, no response. I called them set up appt. The day of I waited 2 hours!! no show, no call, no apology, no business from us! If we can't rely on them to give us a quote, how can we rely on them to do a job, very unprofessional. Oh yea, they also said well maybe your husband could get off early for the appt and still NO SHOW. read more

I liked how professional and great installers. We had two large windows, one was very large and odd size. The quote was fast and Paul did a great job getting us what we wanted. I'm pleased with install in one day. Came in right before the rain. My only tiff was his company is busy during this time of everyone needing work and was only delayed a month including holidays. I would highly recommend them. read more

I've used South Valley Windows on two different houses, both with Milgard vinyl windows. One time it was with replacement windows and the next with new construction windows in a 40 year old condo. Both installation went perfectly. They were able to replace some of the framing in the first house (it was falling apart), and in the condo they installed new trim perfectly with the original resawn. The installations went very quickly and on time. No damage to anything. They got Milgard to replace the patio slider screen door (SVW had received a damaged one from the factory) within days. On both houses they installed indoor window trim at my request for a modest charge (we really don't like drywall boxes). In a total of 20 years there has been no problem with the installation. No leaks, no rot, nothing. We have had to call Milgard once to replace a panel of glass. This is a big advantage with Milgard: they cover all their installations. read more

I have received really bad customer service. I guess if I had placed an order for thousands of dollars worth of windows my phone calls would be returned, but I only needed door and screen tracks plus a replacement screen. I first contacted them in June and it is now the end of August and I only have the sliding door track replaced. I have placed a lot of calls to them with no results. Still waiting for the screen door and track. Kathy read more

I had sent two emails before I got a response. Regina is the reason I gave the star because the rest was bad customer service. They came to my townhouse and only needed three windows and Paul said before leaving that they had big jobs and my little job only took a couple hours but would see if the would fit me in next year. He said to give me a quote over a month ago which never came. Honestly they don't waste time on small jobs so why be in a business if all business is the same. read more
