I love that BVB has 4 pound balls with four holes for little kids to use. The staff there is always great about offering to have one lane with bumpers for the kids and one lane without for the grown-ups. This makes bowling with little ones more fun for the adults. The drink prices are good and not expensive at all, and they are generous with garnishes for kiddie cocktails. For parents who bowl with children, this is a plus! The lanes sometimes get "stuck" which is annoying but to be expected with my 6 year old rolling the ball at 2 MPH. There are a few video games and a few machines that will dispense small candies or plastic junk. I ply my kid with the aforementioned kiddie cocktails to distract her and avoid giving all my money to the electric candy robots. I need that money for the occasional kid- free bowling date nights with the hubby. My only gripe is that I struggle to find an 8-9 pound ball that I can use here. I have big hands and weak wrists, so I am a tough fit. (Sorry for the TMI!) All around decent place to bowl and have a drink, and an asset in the area.

I asked the worker and he said it usually is not as busy. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back because it was great fun! The three stars was due to the bartender not being the friendliest and the lanes had some issues with them. I would go here if you are looking for a fun activity to do!

This was a long time bookmark that I knew one day that I would stop for a beer and wings because I…read morelike to do that once in a while. The place is spectacular and nothing like your parents bowling alley because it's modern and shiny/clean and really a family fun destination with a huge open bowling alley, game room that's closed off probably for C19, a dark alley with laser lights, bar, restaurant etc etc. The woman who served me was friendly and took care of me right away. They have a nice little bar in the dark alley section that has a few taps so I ordered the angry orchard that was cold and refreshing on a summer day. I was going to get out of my comfort zone of buffalo wings and get a different flavor today so I ordered the garlic Parmesan for a change that was sauced and came with a blue cheese dipper and celery/carrots. I have to say that for a bowling alley the wings looked impressive and not the skimpy small ones with approximately 10 wings and they smelled amazing. My first thought after my first bite was that these wings are fuc#ing delicious with a nice crispy shell. The wings were meaty, moist, and cooked perfect with no rubbery/stringy meat like some places serve. The blue cheese sauce was a little different but still good. In all honesty I have to say that the wings that I had today was some of the better wings that I have had and better than some of the hyped places on the Milwaukee best wings list that disappointed me. That list still amazes me because Milwaukee has some hidden gems when it comes to wings that have no mention anywhere. This is an easy stop on my way home from work so this just might be my go to wing place out of convenience but it didn't topple my favorite wing place but it's right there.

The place was clean and playing great jams all night…read more When we arrived we asked if there was any bowling deals and the worker said no so we paid for our 2 games. We wanted to add a third so went up and saw they had an unlimited bowling sign up after we had already paid for 3 games. So we had paid 2x the cost we should've. Felt like we were being upsold. Otherwise it was a good experience and the beer towers were reasonably priced

tl;dr Classic Lanes might be my favorite place for wings in all of Milwaukee. With their massive…read moreselection of sauces and dry rubs (instead of the usual one dry rub most places offer), a huge bar where even on busy nights you can find a chair, quick service with a smile and great prices, this is my go to wing choice. If only I lived closer, hah. When you walk in you need to get your selfie on with the giant hotdog statue, then you can proceed to the bar. From domestics to craft, canned seltzers and more, even a few non-alcohol beers, they definitely have whatever you might be thirsty for for. On Wednesdays AND Thursdays they have 75 cent wings. 35 sauces and dry rubs. A place with 10 dry rubs is my kind of place. My favorites are the Louisiana, Fiesta Ranch and Kansas City. The wings are a good size and fried to perfection. I have also bowled here and there is an insane amount of lanes in this place. Prices are as expected and their system is easy to use.

I've bowled in a league here for several years. Every season ends with a questionnaire asking if…read moreyou're returning. Last year I filled it out with every intention of coming back. About six weeks before the season, I started calling to confirm the start date and that my team was on the roster. After several unanswered attempts, I finally reached someone who gave me the start date, took my name and number, and said someone would call me back. No one did. I called again and left a voicemail with my name, number, and league, asking to confirm the start date and our roster spot. No response. A week before the league started, I went in person during open bowling and asked again. I was told the rosters "weren't out yet," and the person at the counter took my name and number a third time. Again, no call. On opening night, my teammates arrived first and was told we weren't on the league because we had supposedly marked on the form that we weren't returning. I've seen no proof of that. And even if a box was checked wrong, I made four separate attempts -- by phone, voicemail, and in person -- to confirm our spot and fix any mistake. Not one was followed up on. This isn't the first year it's been a waiting game with no clear answers. It's the first year it cost us our spot. Customer service and accountability simply don't exist here. If you value your league night, I'd look elsewhere.

When I booked the party, the staff didn't know how to take my deposit and assured me it was fine. On the day of the party, staff seemed confused, had me down incorrectly, and made me pay the full bill before I could even order food or drinks. (In my previous experience I was able to pay everything at the end as I usually add on extra food and drinks.) I had to keep asking for basic things like tablecloths, cups, and soda that should have been included in the birthday package. The lane setup was also messed up and wasn't fixed until almost an hour into the party. Last year I had a great experience here with the same package (which included a host and a keepsake pin), but this time none of that was provided. I was told the package had changed and did not include this, but when I called to book the party, the website reflected the old package which should have been honored or communicated ahead of time. Instead, I spent the entire party running around trying to get staff to do things that should have been done already. Completely unorganized, misleading, and not worth the money. I will never book another party here again. I even emailed management directly with all of these details and never received a response, which shows how little they value their customers.
