Very pricey so be prepared with your wallet. My husband had the Mac & cheese & added the pulled pork. Be aware we had 2 different versions of the menu (1 with the option to add pulled pork or one other meat option & 1 other menu without the option) so be sure to verify. I had the Asian salad. Was going to have a late lunch with 4 other people. I was first to arrive, was seated and promptly ignored. Had made eye contact with server, and bartender, ignored. No they were not busy by any means. I finally walked up to the bar and asked for a beer. The "bartender" was too busy with his other two clients and immediately got snotty. Adios amigos. After a wonderful conversation with the owner, I returned to South Fork with my partner for redemption dinner and it was perfect! Not only have the classic fries returned but the service was fast and the food was amazing. I had the mushroom burger and was very impressed. Most importantly though I was able to bring a side of fries home! My partner had the pulled pork sandwich which was a little on the dry side but overall a great experience. This has been a regular stop when visiting my Daughter' in Pullman. Last night we went there for dinner, I would not have expected this place to be a microwave meal kind of place. We sat in the bar and order drinks, followed by food. I ordered the beef ragout. When my food arrived it was warm on the top, and ice cold in the center. When the waitress stopped to see how the food was I told her it was ice cold, and her statement was "I never recommend this dish". She said she would take care of it, taking my plate away. I thought that meant remove it from the bill, what it actually meant was she would put it back in the microwave, bread and all. The temp came up, however the dish was still not worth eating, no seasoning and raw onions. The waitress did not come back to the table until I flagged her down with my credit card. No offer to make it right or remove it from the bill. I could tell my Daughter was uncomfortable so I just paid and left. I tried to find a contact email for a manager, with no luck. First time to Pullman and I am so glad that I got to eat here! The food is sooooo goooood! Customer service: Our waitress was Elaine, a cute little thing with a ton of spunk! She made the experience so fun and knew the best things on the menu to order. Her and the rest of the staff are so lively and sweet. I came here with my uncle and one of the waiters even had a little singathon with my crazy uncle. Love the vibes in this place! We even got to meet the owner and he was a delight! Food: I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and mixed berry cobbler. My drink was the ginger beer. All of them were a 5 out of 5. No question about it. The chicken pesto pasta will shock you. I never knew pasta could taste so good. The cobbler made me feel like I should've worked for such a spectacular dessert! My uncle loved his brownie, which was served with Ferdinand's ice cream. Atmosphere: Definitely has a large city restaurant type of vibe. The renovations done here are definitely different compared to the restaurants in the area. This is a cute little whole in the wall place. We came at a good time and was able to sit down immediately. Our server Collin was absolutely amazing. He was so cheerful and made us feel at home. He has to be the best server in Pullman. I loved his personality! Collin was able to take all the orders down without writing it down! Impressive!! My auntie had the Chinese chicken salad and she said it was the best salad she's ever had. It was unique because the dressing was so flavorful and there was a healthy portion of chicken. Excellent salad! l had the Mac and cheese and substituted the house salad for the ceasar salad. It was AMAZING! I was super impressed and the serving was just right. Make sure you say no onions if you don't like onions on your Mac and cheese. If you are a Mac and cheese lover, then you need to try it! My uncle had the prime rib sandwich and it was good but nothing out of the ordinary. My cousin had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The sauce was good and the meat was nice and tender. Micah had the bacon burger and it was the best burger he has in Pullman so far. It was flavorful. The burger was filling and wasn't too much. Our family used Yelp to find this hidden gem in Pullman.It is located in a non descript strip mall and would be easy to miss if you didn't know about it. Don't let the exterior fool you. The inside is warm and inviting and very clean and modern. The menu choices were expansive and everyone in our group found something they were interested in. Every single person in our group of 7 loved what they ordered and commented on how good it was. I had the french dip and it was absolutely delicious. My hubby had the macaroni and cheese and ate every last bite. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner, service was quick, friendly, and efficient. They appeared to have an expansive bar and choices of beer although we didn't partake (this time). Prices were on point for restaurants of similar style. South Fork is a staple in Pullman---one of the local favorites. I really enjoy going every time we go. It is a very reliable, tasty restaurant. You know you will get a very good meal every time. I always order the Bacon Cheese Burger. (I tend to order the same dishes at my favorite places!) The burger comes wrapped in foil, which is awesome because I always make a mess and my burgers tend to be messy. It helps stem the mess for at least several bites! The fries are one of my favorite. The seasoning is delicious and the tiny, crunchiness is awesome. Dipping them in ketchup makes it even better! Of course my partner always orders the Rack O' Ribs and devours the entire thing! I need to take a before and after photo once. He loves ribs and these ones always hit the spot. Accessibility: This spot has no accessible seating in the bar area. All the tables are high tables. Most tables in the restaurant are booths, but there are enough chairs options available that you shouldn't have too much of an issue. The washrooms are large and accessible with wide doors. The doors are heavy though. The restaurant can get loud, but should not be an issue. The lighting is good here and is not an issue. read more

Came here for dinner at 6pm on Sept 30th and got the prime rib sandwich with the pasta salad. Service was amazing and quick, and the food is really good. The sandwich's baguette is fresh and nicely toasted and the prime rib inside the sandwich was delicious! I didn't really use much of the au jus and felt that it wasn't necessary. The pasta salad had the right balance of flavors and quantity of ingredients. It wasn't too strong, which is typically what pasta salad could be sometimes. Very good food overall but service--to put it kindly--was borderline incompetent. Appetizer order got screwed up, three of our party of eight were brought out food (entree salads) almost half an hour before the rest of the table was served.
