The communication throughout the process was excellent, the workmanship was top-notch, and the finished shower door looks fantastic. Garbage. If you want litter on your streets and roadways then hire these slobs. I witnessed over 20 pieces of plastic and paper flying out the back of one of their trucks Northbound on Highway 17/880 going from Campbell over H280 and exiting on Bascom on Saturday June 5th 2021 around 3:30pm I called the main number and reported it and the guy acted like he didn't care. read more

Due to Covid, my home renovation was delayed by 6 months. Lots of contractors and vendors were booked and delivery times were causing more delays. Found SBG through a Google search and they were 1 out of 3 vendors I received quotes for my newly renovated bathroom. They turned out to be cheaper then the other two competitors, but not by much. Their response time was absolutely faster and appointment time to come out to my home to take measurements were within 24 hours of request. Couldn't get any better than that! Since my Master Bath had a concave floor, the initial fitting didn't work out and was uneven. They quickly reordered a replacement, of course with no charge as it was due to vendor error. My hallway bath had a delay by the vendor and it took them longer than the 7-10 day turnaround. SBG was aware and were kind enough to offer a $100 discount. Any savings is great after you spent a ton on whole house renovation. Tony is the main guy I believe and he's been super nice and courteous and responses quickly and was able to accommodante my needs and listened to my feedback. Eddie was the guy who installed my shower door for both bathrooms and he is a gentle giant and super duper nice! Not one of those contractors are grudgingly make a home visit and just come and go without more than 5 words. They have a great team! read more

South Bay glass installed the exterior glass rails at our house on the Peninsula. We worked with multiple vendors on our project and South Bay was among the very best. From the team that came to measure to Eddie, our installer, the attention to detail, pride of work and craftsmanship is evident in everything they do. Eddie is a true craftsman - the preciseness of his measurements, cutting and installation is stunning. Everything lines up exactly, which is incredibly difficult on sloping and uneven surfaces. Unlike many vendors, there is no rush to finish the job mentality at South Bay. Eddie took the time required to do the job right. We could not be more pleased. And on top of it, their pricing is far better than other local glass shops. Do yourself a favor and call South Bay and ask for Eddie to do your install. read more

We loved the low iron shower enclosure they did for us and went with them for our eight ft tall wall mirror. It looked gorgeous and is comparable to any 5 star hotel. Very high quality materials and highly professional installation by Ed. The owner Tony is very responsive and knowledgeable. Just amazing. read more

Highly recommend SBG to those who are looking for the glass supply. One of the rental properties that I manage with the kitchen window glass cracked for no reason. I called several vendors for comparison. SBG's phone manner, service quality and response time are all the best. Price-wise, theirs is also quite competitive. Every step is clear with timely notification, even they needed to reschedule the appointment, Tony handled the process professionally. Indeed, we had used another glass company for our glass vendor in the past 7 years till this time I decided to change to a new vendor to try out. Compared with these two companies, I would recommend South Bay Glass Company for your choice. Thank you Tony and your crew, Luis. read more

I needed a new glass shower surround with a quick turnaround time for a home sale. Joseph, Tony and Eddie were great to work with! All communication was super prompt and easy. Their estimate was more than fair. They gave me several cost options related to style which I appreciated. Ultimately, I chose the least costly finishes as it was for resale but never felt pressured to chose the higher priced options. They quoted 10 business days from time of order to install and met exactly that. Installation was quick and clean. I'll be sure to contact them for any future glass needs! read more

South Bay Glass was patient, helpful and informative in the selection process. Eddie who did the installation was courteous, detailed oriented and did all the work in about 4 hours. Called and was then in touch with Joseph. They came and setup the glasses on time. Next day when we tried the first shower, the water was leaking outside. I called in immediately and reported the issue. The same guy who fixed the glass came in 2 days and said they need to patch with some plastic to close the gap. I was bit disappointed as the wrk wasn't perfect. I was told in 2 days the plastic should arrive and we can fix the glasses. I waited for more than 1.5 weeks and followed up with Joseph. He then finally sent someone the following Friday and this guy was experienced, courteous and knew what he was doing. He fixed the gaps and even found the issues that glasses were rubbing off each other and soon will scratch each other. He fixed the problem with one shower room and took the glass from another shower to shave it, as glasses were almost touching each other at edge. Waited for another 2-3 days and the same guy came and fixed the glass. So my experience is mixed. Seems like they are sincere guys but not perfect. I understand the challenges are with old homes where walls are not aligned so that's where we rely on your expertise when we call you for first time measurement and consultation. For that reason, I'm giving them 3 as they have room to improve. read more

Following up on my review from 11/29/21 with a very positive result. On 11/30 I received a response and email confirmation of my cash deposit from Tony and was told a rush was being put on my small project. SBG followed through in every way after that. Today, 12/1, my door was repaired. Eddie spent more time on the install than expected and was polite and cordial. At this point, South Bay Glass should be highly recommended. read more

I needed two different windows replaced with glass. I used the neighborhood glass place a block away. Call, he can out that afternoon, gave me pricing on the two windows. Horrible customer service!! I ordered an entire glass shower in the show room, which initially they said would cost 1200.00. The male that showed up at my residence to measure the shower totally ignore me and was extremely rude- continued to talk to someone on the phone when I answered the door for the appointment. Treated me very poorly and was completely misogynistic!! Ignoring me when I spoke and talking down to me. Very unprofessional in his demeanor. The only reason I did not kick him out of my house was because I needed to get my shower done ASAP. After measuring the entire shower, he left and did not check out with me. Weeks later I called for an update on my shower door enclosure. No one answered, so I left a message. Upon receiving a call back, the male told me "We will be there today at 2!" In again, a disrespectful and demeaning tone. I told the man not to speak to me that way and to (duhhh) maybe ask to schedule an appointment with me (as a normal, professional business would have done). Again, my fault for trying to use a company with rude and sexist employees. The installer showed up at my residence while I was at home and "installed" a glass door- not an inclosure as I ordered in the show room with an employee. My contractor sent me a photo of a single door, not at all what I ordered in the showroom. Over all, use them at your own risk and go with your gut when people are rude and talk down to you. Now I get to pay double for a shower enclosure- learned my lesson. Hope this helps you. read more

The company is very responsive and professional. We converted a half bath to a full bath with neo angle stall shower. We were given a quote after the shower was built and was told it would take 10-14 days for the glass to be ready. To our surprise the glass was ready in a week and Eddie came and installed the shower enclosure. It looks like good quality and looks great. Tony was prompt in communicating with us. We haven't had a chance to use the shower yet but Eddie discussed about solutions if we experience water leaks and they offer warranty. read more

We remodeled our home and had Tony do the glass for the bathroom tub and shower. His team did an excellent job on the installation. The shower door had a slight fog in a portion of it. I called Tony to let him know. Tony sent out the factory rep to inspect the door glass to see what the issues was. They determined it was a manufacturing defect and authorized it to be replaced. As soon as the manufacture had made the new door Tony's technection came out and replaced it. We are very happy with the products, craftsmanship and customer service we received from Tony and recommend him for all your glass needs. Thank you Tony for your remarkable service. After receiving no response from the company that installed our frameless shower door, I contacted South Bay Glass for the repair. We have had a very positive experience with South Bay Glass. I got a quote for a small glass shelf. I brought in one to copy and thought that all was ok. When I got the shelves they created a beveled edge which the original didn't have so the new ones didn't fit. When I brought them back, they refused to fix them and wanted me to pay again for a new set. I think they quoted me incorrectly for the shelves and so weren't profitable on the deal, but is that my problem?? I ended up bringing the incorrect shelves to Mission Glass and they were great! Fixed them and saved me money. read more

I was referred to a few shower glass companies for a remodel project I had going on in my master after a water leak from the neighbor above. The old glass was from the 70's and it was time for an update. After going to a few different store fronts, I went to this company and noted how different they were and had staff that was able to answer my questions patiently and clearly. After choosing the super clear with ShowerGuard option, the team came out and did their measurements even taking feedback form me about placement. When the custom glass arrived, the team then came back out and took about an hour to install and seal. Tony and his installers were fantastic to work with and being a small business especially in this COVID era I couldn't be more happy with the service given to me. While I am still working to complete the bathroom, at least I won't have to worry about the shower glass. I will definitely look to them should I decide to remodel my other bathroom! read more
