I can't say enough good things about the service and workmanship of Austin Furniture Upholstery…read more We needed to either get our living furniture reupholstered or buy something new. Originally, we decided to just replace both furniture pieces because they were pretty beaten up. We looked around a bit and everything was either too expensive or poorly built. Looking around definitely made us rethink kicking our old expensive Natuzzi couches to the curb because the frames were so well built. Enter Jose and the Austin Furniture Upholstery Team. We tried two other upholstery shops and Austin Furniture Upholstery was the only shop that could match our original microfiber material at a reasonable price. The fabric was half the price of one of the other shops as well. They even made arm covers for the pieces as well Their pick-up & delivery fee was reasonable as well. One shop told me I would have to arrange someone else to pick-up the furniture. All that said, I highly recommend Jose and Austin Furniture Upholstery for your next upholstery job.

Second, I had two large and heavy sofas that were damaged during a move so I wanted a house call. Those are diametrically opposed objectives; I understood that. With Accent Upholstery it was not a problem. I first contacted Austin Upholstery Studio since they had such great Yelp ratings. They promptly responded saying they couldn't help but recommended Accent. I appreciated that. So, I sent photos to the email on the Accent Upholstery website and got a prompt reply about what they thought the issue was and how they might go about fixing it. Kim, the creative stitchery technician, said she could come out, see if they could fix it and she could be prepared to do the work if they could . We agreed on a time that worked , she arrived ontime , said she could fix it , did an amazingly beautiful and detailed job and charged me the minimum fee she quoted. I am very happy! My sofas are repaired. I didn't have to hassle with a move of the furniture risking further damage, Kim did meticulous repair, she was pleasant and didn't make a mess, she was nice to our puppy(!). What a great organization! I would definitely use them again and I can recommend them and I am really very picky so you know it's got to be REALLY good!
