Mr. Youn Koo and his team were finished with all of the pieces in under a week, and they look truly fabulous! I'm thrilled with the results. Long Upholstery Service allows customers to support their own fabric at no additional cost - whereas other upholstery services in Austin will charge you to supply it. They also pick up and/or deliver as well for a reasonable fee. I received quotes from several competitors around Austin, and Long Upholstery Service provided me with the most fair prices for high-quality upholstery services. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with Mr. Koo again in the future. Thank you again!

I can't say enough good things about the service and workmanship of Austin Furniture Upholstery…read more We needed to either get our living furniture reupholstered or buy something new. Originally, we decided to just replace both furniture pieces because they were pretty beaten up. We looked around a bit and everything was either too expensive or poorly built. Looking around definitely made us rethink kicking our old expensive Natuzzi couches to the curb because the frames were so well built. Enter Jose and the Austin Furniture Upholstery Team. We tried two other upholstery shops and Austin Furniture Upholstery was the only shop that could match our original microfiber material at a reasonable price. The fabric was half the price of one of the other shops as well. They even made arm covers for the pieces as well Their pick-up & delivery fee was reasonable as well. One shop told me I would have to arrange someone else to pick-up the furniture. All that said, I highly recommend Jose and Austin Furniture Upholstery for your next upholstery job.

They said it would take a week to get them done. A week came and went, and we waited another week before we texted Jerry on 08/26/25 to check the status of the chairs. He said they would have them ready and delivered the following Thursday, 09/04/25, more than 3 weeks from the day they picked them up. Then, claiming a "busy schedule this week", Jerry asked if they could deliver them on Saturday, 09/06/25. Given all this, I was still willing to give them 5 stars because the chairs looked great when they delivered them. Unfortunately, after reclining in them for 2 days or so, we started to notice a lump in the back of one of the chairs. I contacted Jerry to inform him of the lump on 09/09/25. He said, "Will have to come by look at it but out of town till the 23". I have texted him twice, starting on 09/24/25, with no response. I think I have been more than patient with this company! So that is why I am giving them 1-star.

They were to recover an 100 year old antique chain with fabric from Calico. The chair was missing a wood wheel from one of the four casters and we explicitly discussed trying replace the wheel but do no remove the casters. The sister Anna agreed that removing the caster on such an old chair was not recommended. They picked up the chair and another item to be covered and we were told it would be 2-3 weeks for completion. After waiting for a month we called and were told they had someone quit and were delayed, at two months we were told COVID and other excuses and when we approached three months I told them I was coming to pick up the items and take them somewhere else and Anna said they were almost done. Another two weeks go by an finally they set a date for delivery. At first Anna apologized an offered a 15% discount for the 3 month delay, problem was she increased the total price by $100 and added a $40 delivery fee so the revised price was the same if not higher than the original. Play cards much? I was so done with these people and the lying I wrote a check to get them off my property but then noticed they removed the rear casters on my chair put felt pads to cover the holes and then put those caster on the front legs and cracked a leg. I called immediately and Adrian ( the brother) agreed he would cover the cost of a proper repair by another shop. We all agreed not to remove any casters and instead they remove all four, throw two away and fake the repair by putting the incorrect rear casters on the front leg. I am now taking the chair for proper repair to furniture care of texas and taking them to small claims for the repairs because they never answer the phone. Beware of people in business who never answer the phone and don't believe a word they tell you as they can't stick to the truth and make endless excuses. This chair has been in my family for over 50 years and is over 100 years old and they could care less that the broke the leg and screwed it all up. Many reviews have similar problems and I wish I had read them before entrusting them with such an important piece.
